This was so helpful. Avoided Red Beach after seeing this video (saw it from afar via water taxi). Visited Mesa Pigadia and loved it. Bit of an adventure to get there but that made it even more of a great experience. Water shoes were a life saver. 👍

Great summary of the beaches. We will be going to Santorini next month, so the information is very helpful. Can you tell me if there is a public bus that travels within walking distance of Koloumbus Beach? Thank you

Kind of, yes. You can to take the bus from Oia to Fira (!only in that direction!) and ask to be dropped off at "Soulis Hotel". Make sure to sit on the very first row so that you can remind the bus driver to stop at soulis when you're getting close. They tend to forget ..... xD

- Fares depend on the length of the ride. Usually between 1,60€ and 2,20€
- You pay INSIDE the bus
- Drivers dont speak English
