    Great work. I love the Kohler twins. I only have the KT17 on box tractor. I see them added an oil filter to the Magnums and no points is a plus. It’s a nice upgrade! The hood issue thats the only con. I’m sure you’ll will get it! The trail horse has a 2500 I had mounted mine lower. I’d say the bottom of the winch plate doesn’t hang down past the axle of the tractor. I got greedy and added. 2” reciever underneath that deffinately hangs past. Look forward to the next one!

      @@AbbyNormalGarage yes sir! The Trail Horse is absolutely legendary.
      The later Kohlers seem to be bulletproof in our experience. It’s the K series I have a minor problem with 😅
      Probably just the points and condenser that’s causing the issues.
      Steffen is stoked about this thing though!

    Hay!! Got to jump in here! And my grammar may not be good. Be that as it may, I would like to say here in Locust Fork ,Alabama , built is better than bought. Maybe it’s not as fast maybe it’s not as shiny but look at what I did!! I have a few tractors myself and wish I was younger and able to go after it like y’all do. Ok I got that out of the way, Steffens oppy what carb and adapter did you use? The Good Lord has blessed the South with welders and Torches. Thank you for your time.

    • @Tennesseemountainhomestead
      @Tennesseemountainhomestead  День назад +1

      @@yellowgas66 it’s a Kohler M18 opposed twin. He bought a 30mm knock off brand from Amazon called “Maikuni” and the adapter boot that came with the carburetor matched up to the stock port on the intake about perfect. He did have to enlarge the holes in the boot a little bit to make it so the 5/16 would pass through. Other than that, it runs great right now. He is having an issue that under a load the engine outruns the fuel pump and will suck the bowl dry. He’s gonna get an electric pump next. Thanks for the comment and kind words! God bless sir!
