Thank you guys for the clip. Used it to guide me to replace my mirror and indicator light unit.
Not sure if it's a model difference but needed a t10 for the screws on mine. The t20 fitted silver screw in the centre of the power mirror unit.
To any novices like me out there - be very careful replacing the wing mirror cover. There's two clips that slide into the indicator unit, if not slotted in will snap very easily 😞

If I got these and the sequential tail lights would the turn signals blink at the same time?
For the right side mirror, the mirror must be removed from the left side, too? Or by the right, on exterior?

Is my 2014 Vw Passat se a b7 and take b7 dynamic turn signals? Bc I bought some and I hope they’ll fit.
I can't seem to get the mirror glass off on my 2015 jetta and am afraid to break it. I can get my finger tips behind it but it does not want to budge. I just need to replace the plastic trim piece. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the vid - it was T10 Torx on my 2009 model, plus I didn't need to disconnect the mirror heater wiring, nor the movement motor wiring. Bit gash leaving them dangling but it all works okay.

Would these work with the mk6 GLI 2012 ? I’ve been told the GLI has different fitment than the standard Jetta.

the video was great but two things about it it says the screws are a T20? mine were a T15 !, (which was the reason for me watching, to know the size)and just so every one knows you can buy these with the puddle light hole already there..

Definitely not the same on the jetta tdi unfortunately...you have to take the front black faceplate off to reveal a 3rd tab holding the top cap off to get to the 2 t10 screws holding the turn signal in place. Pain to get it all in place for the tabs to line up and sit correctly. Still a helpful video nonetheless. 👍
