Hey Chaps! Are you impressed by the 3D? (also.. I hope they bring this tech to a Monitor)!
3D always looks like cardboard cutouts at different distances, like if southpark was a play. Is this how these look, or is there a realistic focul depth of the objects that are set apart from others?
I'm eagerly awaiting your review of the Zenbook Pro 16x OLED, which features a brand-new 3.2K 120Hz oled screen, the most recent custom Intel 13th generation processors with Supernova architecture, and new LPDDR5X RAM.
I'm eager to see the Nvidia RTX 40 series as well, so I really hope you make a detailed video on it and compare its video editing and display capabilities to those of the Mac book Pro 16(M1 Max).
Hi, when will rog lineup arrive?
Its a good concept, it will become mainstream when games can be played in 3d or videos could be upscaled to 3d on will....
May I ask is possible to Asus bring solo 3D monitors, and how 3D Vision is working for games cause is was cut out official since 425.31 driver?
I always thought it was disappointing that TVs ditched the 3D tech right when it was starting to get good. If this is similar in quality to what the new 3DS was doing, I’m sure it probably looks really good.
Yeah, I have one in my living room, although it is the type that does need glasses.
@Carl Gunderson Its about the experience and preference IMO.
nice pfp
@@davidrivero1753 thanks! Animals is one of my favorite albums
Yeah, New 3DS head tracking 3d is very good,it has active parralax barrier, i think this is similar technology.
I am happy that Asus brought back SD card slot to the smaller laptop. Zenbook Pro OLED 14 looks really good. Another USB A would be very useful though. But I can't complain.
11 years ago i was watching Avatar 3D on my phone without glasses, and i had a few more others on a memory card in the phone. I had the HTC3D and it was also a LG3D in stores same year. Later that year a Toshiba 3D laptop appeared , but it was too expensive for me so i waited more. For nothing.
Hopefully 3d is back, and will be content for it. I had a samsung tv and a laptop that were 3d compatible, and I really like the features, but the lack of content made them useless
I hope so too!
How does the glasses free 3d compare to Acer spacial labs, or lume pad?
The 120hz is tempting (Acer is 60), but we need it as a monitor also. Not everyone needs a whole laptop
Hello how the stylus of the 3D Laptop works ?
Do you know if there will be AMD (CPU) versions of this laptops? I'm especially look forward to see new 2023 vivobook pro 16X with Dragon Range CPU
1:10 is that Jazza on the opposite side of the table?
when will be the releases of the pro art notebooks?
I still own asus zenbook from 2019 and its amazing,i really like this new asus zenbook 14X oled,i think i want one😉great video as always✌️
without stickers, all of the laptops looks very clean. Very interesting lineup though.
Where is this showroom? I'd like to check this out in person!
Wow this is the best 3d variant to use. No glasses and you can play games hopefully in 3d. Thanks Tech Chap.
It's like looking out of your window, imagine a bid screen in your flat as a virtual window, you can be in any city.
When can we buy it?
how was the sound?
Looking to get 4k ..1440p 144hz..with200 fps What is the best configuration do you think
Where can we buy this?
Totally amazing experience.. lot's of information in such a single video.👍💐

i have proart 4070 oled what u want to know
How much will it cost?
When will this be available for purchase? The ASUS website doesnt seem to have availability information and im not seeing it for sale anywhere.
in thailand they have it
Can someone tell me when asus vivobook pro 16x oled 3d model launch? Date
You sir are SOOOO lucky to experience and enjoy modern technology. :)
Why, can't you? Please reply, buddy!
please where can i buy this laptop?
@Thetechchap I bought ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED 2023, it came with a bad oled panel, you can see the screen door effect, it's like the screen has a very fine mesh overlay, which looks tiny dots, like a very fine screen door it's very annoying and defective I need to know if yours is the same?
They didn’t present any new Zenbook 13 this year ?
By this method we can do any display phone, tv, tablet to 3d with two camera and machine learning
Predator Helios Spatial Labs 3D and ConceptD laptops have glasses free 3D for a while now
Hello, what are your thoughts on the pricing of the ASUS VivobookPro 16x 3d, any price range to expect? It would be my main buying decision for the product.
any where between 3000$ to 3500$
Was that a specially made Avatar 3D clip? I can’t find anything to confirm but thought this 3D technology didn’t support native 3D blurays?
4:48Judging by how its designed , its heavily Apple Mac Silicon inspired 🤣❤️🤟
Asus innovating as usual 🔥👏
Powerful laptop with excellent screen in a sturdy build
Using this 3D display tech, would it be possible to make a monitor that can be viewed clearly without specs by a person who normally need specs by pre-adjusting or blurring the display such that it appears clear to that person? Just a thought that came to my mind.
you mean glasses 👓 🤓? correct? that would be a genius idea for accessibility!! hopefully it could work like that at some point :D!! 🙌

3D IS BACK! -Even sooner than I expected! -Great stuff, ASUS...
Very Cool hope your having fun at CES. Will there be a camera compatible with the 3D display such that photos can be taken and viewed 3D?
2023 maybe asus's year... looking forward to the full reviews of these laptops...🙂
Every year has been Asus' year these last couple of years
I’m all here for a 3D comeback. Glasses free 3D TV’s would be amazing.
Impossible
@@Malc180s I saw it at CES, even TCL had a version of this on a 65" TV that was quite impressive. It wasn't a model they will have coming out soon, but a technology demo.
Wow that’s so cool
how did you capture the 3d on video thats amazing
it was tricky! Using my iPhone next to my eyes helped!
According to the ASUS website, the Intel 13th Gen 14X OLED (UX3404) does have touchscreen and stylus support. Am I missing something here because if I purchased and it didn't have these 2 features I would be very unhappy.
From the ASUS website: 14.5-inch, 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED 16:10 aspect ratio, 0.2ms response time, 550nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1,000,000:1, 1.07 billion colors, PANTONE Validated, Glossy display, 70% less harmful blue light, SGS Eye Care Display, Touch screen, (Screen-to-body ratio)89%, With stylus support
What about a 2D to 3D simulator?
Does Asus 3D have 1000 nits?
How does the computer detect your fingers when you move them in front of it instead of on it?
If you look in the video, to the left of the keyboard it looked like a sensor was doing that tracking.
The Zenbook Pro 14 Oled is looking like it's going to be my next laptop for photo editing and the occasional gaming session. Spec it out with an i7, 4060, and 16-32 GB RAM (according to Asus' product page it has upgradeable ram). I just hope it has good battery life.
Why not the i9, would that be too much for such a small frame?
where's a benchmark that laptop?
I dont see where to buy it
MAAAN !!, THAT CAN MAKE A MAN BUY IT SOON ..
Does the 3D laptop works for por... Umm... Research?
Look at th e display man on that laptop 😳😳
And why exactly they didn allow Dave to record this on video when here everybody did?
TBH as contnent creator I need hybrid of ROG most powerful line in terms of hardware with this screen from pro art line but it doesnt exisit
im so confused, i think i have this laptop w 4070 but its not 3d, is that right that not all of them are 3d, how do i check? edit oh i got it - if it has 2 cameras its 3d, mine has one. gg
The Nintendo 3ds: am i a joke to you?
Asus, Acer, MSI vs Dell,HP, Lenovo laptop comparing reliable, display, battery
This would blow up if iFruit company made it. Asus doesn't get the praise it deserves.
This is going to be implemented in new ROG phones. Imagine a 3D display gaming phone.
First one 3ds in 2011😁
i want one in 65 + screen , i have two kidneys to negotiate the price.
I want to buy a laptop in morocco for learning 3 d but it s so expensive 😢
4:37 It's actually not ergonomic at all for your hands
When are these laptops coming out it's been 3 months later and still NO NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want that awesome 3D tech, in a stand alone monitor. I don’t need another computer. But want the 3D.
Yes! me too
Acer has spatiallabs view monitor available... although 1100 for 15 inch monitor
when on sale?????!??!?? they said during 2023... it s almost over.. and no other news about that
The question is when these laptops will be available for purchase
They'll be available to buy in the UK around summer 👍
Asus hasn't released any pricing info.
Well the question is... since its tracking your eyes, does it work in the dark?
Nevertheless, lets hope Asus doesn't ditch it and continues to improve it cuz we all know first gen stuff always have issues.
Yep - works in the dark!
Looks like it uses infrared cameras to track your face ala iPhone, so it must work in the dark too.
Acer already has available a laptop and more exciting 15 inch monitor with similar 3d tech with gaming in mind for application . Search for acer spatiallabs 3d.
I've used the ConceptD 7 with spatiallabs 3d - and this is significantly better, newer hardware, 120hz, OLED, and the spatiallabs tech is more refined.
@@Thetechchap asus laptop has nice specs and oled etc but geared for design etc... I'm sure it will be adapted to gaming eventually.... the acer is available now and has software with it allowing like 50 +games working now... like God of War etc more to come... check out the link... also stand alone monitor so no need for laptop.
3D smartphones please
Let just hope ASUS make a dedicated monitor with this same tech in it, that would be really cool for people using other brands and desktop systems!!
😒 for a moment there, I thought a proper "no glasses" 3d TV was just about to happen. But with it only able to track one pair of eyes, that's that idea out the window!
Q: Any news for us multi screen lovers?
I don't think it is possible due to the differences in viewing angles and such.. You'd need glasses. Fortunately with 120hz OLED you could run active shutter 3D with this and get quite good results.
@@MichaelFlatman Toshiba did come out with a TV that was glasses free (55" I think) and could track several eyes in the room to give each viewer their own 3D view. It was a little slow to react, but if you didn't move around a lot it would find you and settle in. They were using some of the first 4K panels available at the time to have enough resolution to make it look decent. But with 8k panels now more common, I think if they tried again with better eye tracking hardware built it, it would be even more impressive than it was then. So the tech is out there to scale it up for sure.
as long as it not a stupid price...
they made big nintendo 3ds lol
James Cameron better make this a thing for Avatar 3!
Up next: Glasses free 3D smartphones
I hope so I love my Hydrogen One and it is starting to have issues.
It's not 3D, it's just tracking your face and rotating the image on display accordingly so user can feel 3D experience which is not close to real 3D experience we see in Movie theatres.
Dell is already using this face-tracking technology for 3D sound, when you turn it on and wear earphones and play any music, and rotate your face in any direction, you'll experience that you're getting sound from the centre of the laptop and not from your earphones.
This could be the beginning of playing a game in full 3d on top of your table without some stupid head contraption but until then , it’s just gimmicky to me.
there's one problem with all of this, Asus, the number one laptops on every repair shop bench.
Soon X rated adult entertainment will start offering 3D action as a result of this laptop
They won't have to, Lume Pad 2 has a 3D AI conversion tool that is a simple as sharing a RUclips, Facebook, or your own video link to and it converts and loads it in 3D almost instantly.
They don't list any of the adult websites on their supported videos page but I can confirm they all work 😆
I hate when they cram in a number pad on a 16" notebook. Vast majority of people doesn't use it at all and it takes up space that could be used for better speakers. Sitting of center in front of a notebook is also not ideal. And yet pretty much every Asian notebook manufacturer does it.
NINTENDO did this years ago with 3DS
Reminds me Philips glasses-free 3D TV in 2008 that I have seen in Lithuanian biggest shopping center that was promoting political agitation.
I was hoping to see an entire CES tour? Were there fees and permits or riots at the airport that shut you down?
Laptops and monitors are dominating this years CES
I don't think they is enough 3d content to justify the cost if you could convert 2d to 3d with ai or something similar then I would maybe be interested
3D games make plenty of content lol
PC manufacturers being innovative as usual as Apple hides somewhere taking notes in embarrassment. 😅
An $1100 premium for this. WOW!
That's a shame. I'm just when I thought oh they could put this in cinema. You can't because only one person can watch
1st comment keep up the great work Tom
I really like the zenbook pro 14
Compared to ASUS Apple feels like a nursing home.
my eyes omg it's burn xD
watching all this on my older Razer Blade 17 Pro 4K laptop screen...............just out of interest !
But is it like 3Ds sort of gimmick, or does it look better than that?
😳😳
I dont have much money to buy these highly priced laptop😔
Is that a Scottish accent thats no been in Scotland for a while ??
just english :)
👍👍😘😘
