Can you mention in your food videos where the water that they're using for the broth comes from? Do you have to look out for vendors who use tap water to cook broth? In my experience this is what most tourists are leary about when it comes to eating broth based foods in Vietnam. Thanks. Keep up the good work!
Broth is not your concern since it’s been sterilized by boiling. Ice cubes will be the #1 culprit. I buy medicine on day one of the trip because it will come and you want to be prepared. Plenty of pharmacies, no prescription required.
That pretty much rules out any 3rd world country for vacations. You might want to cautious of any bottled water. Several years back the bottle water, Disani, made by Coke was bottled from tap water in Mexico and sold world wide. I
You forgot the ""Wok hay'='Wok breath" because the wok gets on fire that's the dish gets a little BBQ taste!Dishes made in the wok taste different from dishes made in a regular pan.!!OMG!!.LOL!!
McDonald's in Vietnam is completely Franchised, the owner of all the franchise is married to the daughter of the Boss of Vingroup (Vietnam's largest company) So while you may think McDonalds is failing, it's not doing as badly as you think (post pandemic) the staff are paid nothing close to other countries in the west, the cost of the rent compared to other major cities is also much much less... There are still plenty of Vietnamese people who can afford to eat Maccys and grow tired of eating Vietnamese food every single day, it's a treat.....and that is how it should be , Nobody should eat McDonald's everyday !
It is not fair ( equitable) because I am vietnamese but Iagree with you. I was excited when Mc Donarl , BBQ … appeared in Vietnam about 20 years ago but I disappointed . There are many many trditional delicious deseases in Vietnam and Mc Donarl or something like that coud not compet ! The Vietnam deseases is cheaper than the foreign fast- foods !!!

In Vietnam it is possible to find under 1 dollar meal but you are giving wrong illustration of a meal to other people.. later other foreigner also go Vietnam and expect the meal u had is under 2 dollar but it actually more then they will complain they got scammed.. Not that people will but just saying ! else good content!
In the intro I did that anything u see 1.99 is the dollar menu :) sorry for any confusion. Kinda like McDonald’s dollar menu nothing is actually 1$ and under but rather 1.99$ and under!

But for the purpose of this video I had to do research so it suited 1.99$ and under and plus the food was delicious so I don’t think it matters if it was busy or not. It also depends largely on the time you go too ! The last fried rice restaurant had loads of people picking up orders rather then dine in. Plus if we don’t try how will we find hidden gems?
