Of Course, we have squirrels visit our property and deck. We also go to the local park several times a week to see some furry friends. I could not imagine how my life would be without squirrels. They bring my wife and I so much happiness and joy. I also enjoy all of the people like you that either make a huge difference in taking care of these precious creatures and the squirrel loving community. My wife and I have built and installed 4 nest boxes on our property and several feeders either on trees, hangers and on the deck, and we look forward to see them every day 😘🐿❤🥰@@Littleanimalsarecute
I just learned from another channel that today is Squirrel Appreciation Day. I wish I knew in advance. I would have liked to have planned something big for my fur buddies.
When we first went from 32 to 0-ish (single digits above and below) a week and a couple days ago, it was hard!!! But I seem to be adapting to it. Thank you!!!
It's just a thought but I wonder if a squirrel with an injury does better in this extreme cold .... I mean when it's warm is that when the bugs take hold in the warmth more....maybe - maybe not 🤔. I think you're right. I'm sure winter is better for a squirrel with an injurry. And not just because there's no bugs during winter, but the ground that is covered with snow, is nice and clean, so less chance for an infection to settle into the wound.

@@paulag4536I agree with you both. I have another guy with a big hand injury right now and though it looks like an injury another has last summer but didn’t survive, he’s keeping up. ❤❤❤❤
