I only have 2 BIG doubts 1. In case of minor accidents, car dents very easily. Repair can get expensive. What’s your experience? I see so many videos of minor collisions on door causing total deformation. I’m coming from a Nexon EV which is sort of built like a tank, so I am concerned to upgrade to GV. 2. Niggles. Problem with Tata cars is that there’s too many stupid niggles like AC compressor failing, roof cover becoming loose and making rattling noise, condensation in lights and lights stop working. Is this also the case with Maruti, especially GV?
Well it seems to be that it will be a good upgrade for you.. Both are from different segment. So cannot be compared directly. Vitara will offer you more space inside but with the strong hybrid you have to adjust with a very small capacity boot as the battery takes up the space. About the niggles i never faced any niggles with my GV but there has been a TPMS error notification which was there and still not solved despite of having warranty so i will strongly suggest dont buy any company extended warranty pack. I will make a different video on that. You can buy GV its a good car magnificent chasis and very good suspension. You can watch my 10000kms review for more details
@@shinjandebanjali Thank you for the detailed answer! I’m definitely gonna check out your other videos! Cheers and thanks for sharing your experience, it really helps other prospective buyers.
What modes are you using i hv same vehicle but m not getting mileage above 23 i drive in Eco mode…also Ac cooling is very bad what is ur review for Ac ??
I drive in normal mode as in eco mode the car really feels very slow, well ac cooling ok after sunset else because of the sunroof cover which very low quality sunlight comes in and therefore cooling is less
Whats the replacement cost of this hybrid battery? Lets say the battery loses the potential after 5 years, what's the cost that customer need to spend to replace that?
well i asked the same question to the service manager when i went for my 2nd service he said it will cost you around 2 to 2.5 lacs now but good thing is the battery is covered under warrannty for 8years, after 8 years all battery cost will come down once India starts manufacturing its own battery cells, have few more issues with the car which i will share in my 3 service and 10000kms review which is coming very soon so please subscribe to get notified. thanks
Hi! I am getting good mileage of 23 -25 on long distance trips around 40 km. But getting only 12-14 mileage on short trips of 10 km . Same traffic and other conditions. What could be the reason.
Should I go for a Jeep Compass or take a more logical decision by choosing GV instead. I know they're not in the same segment and GV has its own set of advantages. Mind says GV for a hassle free ownership experience but heart says Compass. But with declining compass sales and unclear future on diesel engines, I'm a bit confused.
If you take my advice i would suggest you to go for GV Strong Hybrid it will be a sensible decision to make as it will have much more resale value and low maintenance than a Compass and needless to say much more reliable also, and GV will give you a mileage of around 25kmpl in the city with ac on and without ac its 28 or 29kmpl which i am getting and you just cannot go back once you have the taste of it.
@@shinjandebanjali Yeah you're right. I recently took a test drive of GV strong hybrid and it's very difficult to find fault with that vehicle except maybe the flimsy translucent sunshade. Also, no lumbar support or electric seats but you can live without them. The only thing that makes me think is 23L for a Maruti. You get almost the same build quality and look as that of Fronx which is available at 10L. In contrast, the Compass feels rich with great build quality and interiors with 14 way electric seats but the only caveat is no petrol option. But I think I'll go with GV for all the reasons you mentioned and also this is gonna mostly be used by my dad who is almost 70. Atleast with Maruti, you'll get a hassle free ownership. But with Jeep, you never know. They may disappear from India in the next 5 years like Ford and Chevy did.
Also Toyota seems less keen to sell than Maruti, responsiveness of Maruti to sell the car seemed more to me but I think the city you are in also matters.

I have already shown in this video that the Ac runs on EV when you are on traffic signals or idle for that matter, but it will run on Battery till the battery has charge then again engine will turn on for around 1min to charge the battery and then automatically shuts down and again it will run on EV again' And coming to your second question this is not a fully electric car so it will never run solely on EV charge, the system is very smart it turns on the engine and turn off the engine based on yout throttle inputs and requirements.. i cannot answer your 3rd question as i have never tried that.. but considering the mileage which i am getting now after 2nd service is around 25.2kmpl so i am guessing what you are getting in your altroz you will get atleast double in GV wait for my second service video will be uploaded soon.. thanks for watching
Based ok your usage in heavy traffic and 60kms per day i think you can look for New launch Tata Curvv as well but if you have to go for long drives like in the mountains or 500 600kms drive quite regularly then hybrid is a better option
Total average of 5 days is 24.7km/L thank me later.
Thanks 😊

Yes it is a bug problem in summer time.. The sunshade is useless and sadly there is no after market solution as well
You can apply tint film from nexa or from outside

50 kmpl ?
highest i got in winter time is 33kmpl without AC, now in Summer i am getting around 24-25kmpl with AC
How is the car to drive on highways at continuous speeds of 120kmph
I have topped it around 115kmph and no problem whatsoever it runs stable but you wont get the hybrid assistance
Please don't mind u seem knowledgeable so.
couple of questions
I mostly drive on highway or keep car on and idle for hours so
Try to ans
If i stay idle by switching on car ac will the ac be running on engine or EV MOTOR
If running on EV BATTERY can i get continuous one hour or around ac ruining on EV BATTERY
Supposed if the ac runs on the engine, how much effect do you have on car millage (my present car altroz drinks 1 liter per 1 hour if kept IDLE and ac on 3)

And coming to your second question this is not a fully electric car so it will never run solely on EV charge, the system is very smart it turns on the engine and turn off the engine based on yout throttle inputs and requirements..
i cannot answer your 3rd question as i have never tried that.. but considering the mileage which i am getting now after 2nd service is around 25.2kmpl so i am guessing what you are getting in your altroz you will get atleast double in GV
