After checking out “No One Like You”, everyone was letting us know that this one comes next! Where do we go from here? Let us know! 🙌🔥😃👍 PS: Thank you to everyone who joined out live stream yesterday! It was a lot of fun!
This is a great song,I really like the subtle use of the talkbox on the guitar near the end. Other great tracks from their early days in the late 70s that are worth checking out are Sails Of Charon and We'll Burn The Sky.They had a different guitarist then - Uli Jon Roth but he is really good - but they are equally good and enjoyable, solid heavy rock🤘🤘
Probably the Scorpions song I have listened to the most oddly enough, and I am a Scorpions fan - this is their edgiest/grungiest song imo; I felt like it was a very overlooked gem, much like Fourth of July by Soundgarden which I will also highly recommend.
Also by Scorpions, Love on the Run We Let It Rock... You Let It Roll Don't Stop at the Top Passion Rules the Game Every Minute Every Day Media Overkill Walking on the Edge
We'll Burn The Sky from the excellent 1979 live album Tokyo Tapes with Uli Jon Roth on guitar...this is THE real Scorpions !! @Father and Son Reactions, the 70's Scorpions is far better !!! Try these songs , if your not you miss something ! : He's a Woman , She's a Man , In Trance , Pictured Life, Sails of Charon, We'll Burn The Sky (live Tokyo Tapes), Speedy's Coming (live Tokyo tapes), Steamrock Fever, etc !
What a great song to react to, like the father wasn’t a huge Scorpions fan, but loved The Zoo. It’s been far too long since I’ve listened to, thanks guys.
Good song! Propably have heard it somewhere before. Next one Wind of Change, Still Loving you, Send Me an Angel Just a classics... Thanks for reaction!
There is a deep cut rocker, albeit a bizzare song and video, by the Scorpions called He's A Woman, She's A Man from the Tour of Force album. I like the use of the talk box on The Zoo.
Scorpions was one of my favorite bands growing up. This song is awesome. Son, dive deep into Scorpions. Lots of great albums. You gotta get some full albums. Crazy world is great as is love at first sting. There something primal about scorpions music. It rocks.
This is one of my favourite Scorpions songs, it’s live version from their World Wide Live album is what got me hooked on the band. Great reaction! If you’re looking for that same feel as No One Like You, check out Still Loving You. Happy New Year, peace and love from Toronto!
This is one of the Scorpions most popular/well known songs. This is also the first Scorpions song I ever heard back in high school...and of course I immediately had to hear more, which led me to purchasing the Blackout album (I couldn't find the Animal Magnetism album at the time). I had no idea that they had been around since the 70's at this point. Their old material is way different than this era...the first album sounded more like Sabbath than Scorpions IMO, especially the guitar tone. I kind of stopped listening to them after they started mellowing out too much...it seemed that after they did Wind of Change, they started doing too many ballads so I lost interest...also I was getting into heavier stuff at that time. if you want more of their rocking songs, check out the whole Blackout album. For my next suggestion, here is the Scorpions - Can't Live Without You (ruclips.net/video/tdez-MZHruY/видео.html). I was going to suggest something else, but since you asked for a rockin' Scorpions song, I figured I'd provide one haha! Cheers!
Love this song and the riffs but can feel a little slow at times. Please check out Sails of Charon and Alien Nation by the Scorpions. Both are amazing and insanely different but still rock hard
I like Scorpions, but personally I think this song is so boring. They have so many songs that are vastly better. _Blackout_ comes to mind. But my favorite Scorpions song is one that receives little to no attention, which is a shame because I just think it is badass! It's called _Alien Nation,_ and I've linked it below. Scorpions (Alien Nation, OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) - ruclips.net/video/Xg6iQxpdgLI/видео.html
Scorpions live is the best in most of their songs and this is one of them. You guys should revisit this song in The World Wide Tour live album in 1984 I believe, this song The Zoo in this concert it's just amazing!!!!
As usual, I am going to take a 180 degree turn on you. Like Father, I know just some radio hits from The Scorpions. While The Scorpions seemed representative of what was going on in the US and UK, there was a movement called Krautrock that was going on in Germany in the late 60's and early 70's, where the music was more psychedelic, progressive, electronic, and avant-garde. I am suggesting Archangels Thunderbird by Amon Duul II. ruclips.net/video/XzSi1qPxBIQ/видео.html
Scorpions are great and this song is good, but it's not their best in my opinion. Rock You Like A Hurricane, Big City Nights and Still Loving You are great songs.
Such an amazing band and this is has got such a wonderful guitar intro. One of my top five favourite bands.Their own remake of this is just as cool with a bit funkier guitar lick.Plus Klaus Meine's voice is so unique and what a great name.I saw them live in 1996 with another legend,Alice Cooper and it was amazing.
Hey L & E, You probably know the Scorpions are from Germany, definitive rock from the 80's era. Many killer tunes, lots of radio airplay for the Scorpions. Music is such a personal thing, everyone's taste is different. There is always Blackout or a later one, Winds of Change, well worth a listen, if only for yourself. Sorry to break it to you, I think '21 is going to hold more of the same, as the virus mutates into different strains, they could be at it for a long time, the term, the new normal, says a lot. Not to worry, time has a way of dealing with a lot of things. On a brighter note, diggin' the channel and some great song suggestions. Rain and '50's. We get what's called the Pineapple Express, wind, lot's of rain, but, really warm temps. All the best from Oregon, C.

Hi guys, just to let you know for the little story, that the german guys of Scorpion are living in Monaco (my country) and be careful with the other german guys of Rammstein, they are on another level...have to watch them live, you will not believe....
Great song choice. This was probably the start of their more commercial writing in my opinion. Animal Magnetism on a whole is a pretty great album, but they really brought it together on Blackout. That album is great from beginning to end. Many argue that their 70's output is where the real magic is. Uli Jon Roth and Michael Schenker are both highly influential players in rock and metal guitar.

Love this song, but it's not my favorite Scorpions song. Those would be "Still Loving You," "We'll Burn The Sky," "China White," "In Trance," "Always Somewhere" and "Winds Of Change."
I think for myself, the song has a feeling of searching for something important that you need (like you're on a mission), with the slow chugging of the guitars. Then the chorus kicks in, and you found that thing, but it's something you didn't expect. And then the slow chugging comes back, feeling like you're back searching again. That's how it felt to me. I feel like you started hearing more whispers within music in the 90s, with some bands in both rock and metal adopting the style within SOME of their music (like NIN, Type O Negative, Korn, Deftones. I'm sure others as well). But, I know it's not a style for everyone, and that's fine. I like it, personally, depending on the vibe the band is going for. I think the whispering added a nice layer of atmosphere during the parts of this song, even making it feel more "personal" or have an air of "desire" to them. And the whispering and slow chugging of the guitars offered nice contrast to the chorus (and you know me, I like me some contrast in music. I feel like it makes songs more interesting to listen to, but it's not always required. It depends on what a band wants to go for). Overall, I dig the song. Whispering vocals doesn't bother me in the right context, and I thought it fit the vibe of what they wanted to go for here. Guitar work is solid throughout, too. Just checked out the lyrics, and I think they're 10/10 alone (well, I think they're very good at least). They have a NIN kind of feel in some parts, too, which I like. lol

Hi guys. Not heard this one before, or any Scorpions as far as I'm aware. Like Father, I may have heard something on the radio but not known it was Scorpions - I've always had issues with radio DJs in the UK not back-announcing what they've played - I've even walked into a local radio station one time in Gloucester during my lunch hour to ask what instrumental track they were playing during my morning commute into town, and they STILL couldn't tell me exactly what it was (I know it was The Brazilian by Genesis - because I didn't give up). I thought that musically this was very interesting and a bit different, but for me the vocals did not live up to the potential for this song - I like vocal harmonies, or at least one really strong singer. At the end, Father said pretty much the same thing, so we're on the same wavelength again! Really enjoyed the livestream yesterday, but I think my stomach thought my throat had been cut, and despite the 5 hour time difference I ended up having dinner at the same time as folks in New Jersey! My observation on song suggestions is that I think people should think about the best songs as introductions for bands that are new to you, Ethan. I was unfamiliar with Supertramp's School and disappointed when I heard it - I would never have played a track like that to someone who had never heard Supertramp before - I would play The Logical Song or possibly one or two others, and if that doesn't blow you away then you won't want to hear any more Supertramp. That's my tuppence worth - about 2.5 cents at the current rate of exchange!
Ok done reading!!! Fantastic comment!! You might’ve heard “Rock You Like A Hurricane” By Scorpions. It’s pretty famous. Glad you enjoyed the stream yesterday! So sorry to keep you up that late haha!
