OMG IT WORKED IM SO HAPPY is there like a twist or something cuz it's too good to be true also all you guys have to do is make a geforce now account with a computer or laptop that has nvidia
One of the main reasons why I chose an nvidia gpu was to geforce game stream to my shield. Now, I'll try an amd gpu like the 5700 XT and save a little $$$. I can play anywhere!!! Thanks nvidia!
Be careful with this. Nvidia has actually banned accounts in the past that used the GFN apk from the Shield TV on other devices. While this is a new version for other devices and I haven't heard of them doing that with this version, I still wouldn't trust it.
lol, I was literally thinking about this at work when I couldn't Steam link since I forgot to leave my computer on. Get home and there's an ETAPrime video. The universe wanted this to happen.
Wow! What perfect timing ETA because I literally just bought a Samsung S5e tablet yesterday. I was thinking about Google Stadia services but now you've showed me this forget it 😆
I’m going to have to attempt this again later today. I tried a Verizon a few weeks ago and it didn’t work. As soon as the game goes to load it stops. I’ve had GeForce now since it came out! Love it but on my tablet would be cool
What resolution and framerate? And like someone else asked. how did your gaming experience hold up over long periods of time? Is it even worth owning a gaming PC if you have good internet?
I recently started playing Steam games such as F1 2019 and Assetto Corsa on my Nvidia Shield and they play awesome!!! I don't use a PC and have 100mbps internet.
This works great. Some tips though to get geforce now you need a nvida shiled TV you can skip the wait list for the steaming service this way. Next make sure you check for the ,ost recent up to date apk file and you should be good.
Tried this and your tutorial a few months ago. Neither work in Australia (at least for me). I can log in but it just comes up with a blank screen after login.
NZ here, they have no servers nearby. I got it to work on shield tv and the latency was 120ms+ using the nearest server (US southwest) so isn't really playable yet.
I'm going to wait for the official Nvidia launch when they have the rest of their servers set up for this. Everyone is trying to test it on an unofficial sideloaded app in areas where the new RTX are not up and running yet.
I've tried GeForce Now Beta with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on my old PC couple years ago and the experience wasn't good even with my Gigabit fiber connection. While the input lag was tolerable (at least to me since I don't have particularly good reflexes), sudden resolution changes were not. Since I have a powerful gaming rig, I've set up my own custom game streaming solution over a VPN. Costs me very little to run and is much more flexible than any commercial service. Does require some non-trivial setup though.
@@Droogie128 I remember now why I uninstalled it. Both PC and Android apps give me the "You don't have access to Geforce Now. Sign up for the waiting list." Which I'm already on.
Junior Nunez this is a completely different thing! It streams from a “rig” (what Nvidia calls their cloud desktops) to yours! You don’t stream from your own pc to a phone or other pc
Maybe if you use a GeForce NOW account on an Nvidia Shield device, the account will work with the app on other devices, which may be how ETA is able to show it working.
Hey! Great video. I own the 1st gen XBox Elite controller. I can only connect it to my phone using cable (my phone doesn't detect the dongle). The controller doesn't work properly in Geforce Now. Do you know the reason? Any solution available?
U got the xbox one controller paired over bluetooth with the Galaxy Tab S6? Looks good! These games are better playable with it! Can you hook up other controllers as well, if yes, which one? (Maybe you can do a short video on this.)
Finally got my code to use Geforce Now and I love it. On PC, Shadow of the Tomb Raider gets about 40 more fps than using my own hardware. One slight problem is that, on Android and in game (not physically), the right stick tends to be a slight nudge goes a long way. It's going to take time to get used to, I think, and a lot of tinkering with look sensitivity. I just need to get an XBox One wireless controller. My current one's layout is: left stick and right stick are top left outside and top right outside respectively and the D-pad and ABXY buttons are bottom left inside and bottom right inside respectively. Kinda looks like this *_ _*
ETA is awesome but why would you clickbait and say on every android. I have lots of android devices and two nvidia accounts I've tried. None work. It says ask for access
Not sure what everyone's challenge is. It works for me but I also have a shield so maybe that's why it's not upset about me having a GeForce now account already

I'm running Android 7.1.2 using an Xbox One controller via Bluetooth connection and the right stick is acting as the trigger buttons. Any idea what might be going off? Also tried it on my 8.1.0 device and that works fine. Am I right in guessing we need version 8 upwards? FYI Both devices are custom ROM's

What about your game progress? If you start as game you own on steam you gonna start in in New game only, right? But what if you want to continue your game a week later? Where are save files stored?
Already hacked the app from Nvidia Shield so it worked on everything. It's better than the new app for phones because it include Shield free games and list every games by category.

If the game doesnt use cloud saving, then no, since the save file is only stored locally on the pc you play it on.
