I’m not sure yet, but I think they could be up there once I get the breaking cores sorted 🥰 I think they will work really well together too, as I find they both have some slightly different colours, so I’m looking forward to using them both together
🎉 you did wonderful ❤ I've just got both of these sets and haven't used them much. So I'll be learning along side you. Except I packed my drawing pencils (trying to move) and I'm tempted to buy a used set to follow your new videos. You are such a great artist and teacher and you will adapt so quickly because you truly have such a delicate light hand... Which I'm learning from you. Just finished with the Atlantis name page with the seahorses. It was a joy. Thank you. ❤😊
That’s so lovely to hear! I’m glad you enjoyed the Atlantis page. All the best with your move. I hope it all goes well, and you can have your art supplies back soon 😊
So interesting and riche in advice. Sorry for my english I'm french. I love listen to you. Your voice is so gentil and your explications are very clear. Thank's to share your talent. Love it. I will have the Derwent Lightfas next week and I am very exciting to discover them.
@@MaritsColourfulAdventures I hope so but I know I will enjoy because I've got the Polychromos and I love coloring with them. It is such a pleasure to see colours coming after several layers. Thank's again for sharing your talent.
Yay! I’m So glad to hear that. I’d love to do the other ones as well. Maybe we can cover blending coloured pencils on the other ones, using some blending solutions etc.
Great video! I’ve watched many of your videos and I appreciate tips. Would you say you mostly use light pressure? And when you choose colors how close do you keep your shades? Your blends are absolutely stunning!
Yes, I use light pressure probably 80% of the time, usually never more than a medium pressure. With light pressure you have more control, and you are more likely to be able to erase or cover up any mistakes. I’m not quite sure what you mean about the shadows (sorry English is my second language). But I like to build it up, and use a darker colour to start with, then go in with browns or greys, and finally black if I need it.
“Tickling the paper” 😊
😊
Tickling the paper,,😊

Are you enjoying your Derwent drawing and lightfast pencils as much as your love your faber castell?
