If rent in a complex is more because the complex advertises a recreation room for families to use, and that recreation room remains locked year after year, that's not only unfair, but false advertising on the part of the complex especially if nothing is ever done to open it.

I think the Plaintiff felt that the Defendants deliberately dragged their feet for 3 years on something that was actually quite simple that they were contractually obligated to do. It was like breaking a contract. I just think the Plaintiff was incredibly patient to allow this to go on for 3 years! He sued because he paid for something he never received. He was going to sue whether he stayed or left, so the fact that he sued AFTER he left is really irrelevant because he was going to sue anyway.

I also said you need to be _extremely_ intelligent to homeschool children and that schooling _special needs_ children, inside _or outside_ the home, requires special skills and special attention to their needs. If you disagree with me on all that, you are simply wrong. Maybe she _is_ a genius and a member of MENSA and all that. If so, I'm not seeing it. The 3rd party, who acts as an arbitrator, needs to be able to understand who he/she is working with. It's impossible to make a fair judgment if don't even know anything about the people asking you to resolve their complicated dispute. What JJ is doing is first of all seeing if the plantiffs are normal people, who live normal and reasonable lives, which is EXTREMELY important when dealing with complicated cases. They should compensate him for the 3 months that he was denied access to a facility that he was paying for. JJ's logic in this particular case is as clear as mud.

    1) State and county workers have the option to work from home 4 days a week if permitted
    2) the wife doesn't know the in's and out's of what he does especially his line of work..
    3) You don't need credentials to do home schooling as a parent!
    4) they're allowed to sue for unreasonably denied amenities that they paid for while they were tenants
    5) they're not in court for the stipulated judgement of $500...they're suing for the $3,000 security deposit

I homeschool my children. It really isn't hard to incorporate physical education with other things like earth science, health (like gardening which also teaches about healthy foods and agriculture) and even combining with learning about native animals such as going for a hike looking for native species of birds, lizards, frogs and even foraging for mushrooms and berries etc.
I do not think they really know much about homeschooling!
