I refused to do traditional things bcos I told them gore I'm born again, I will never do anything that goes against the principles of God and my Christian values. So sorry for ur loss phume. We as women we go through so much from our in laws. I lost my husband to cancer 2022. My mother on law told me that if her son die in our house she will get me arrested. And it come to pass he passed away in our home 8am 29th August. She told me to give her the ID and His clothes but I refused till today we are still not talking. But I thank God because I did all for him even made sure he got buried at home where they wanted and paid for everything. We were married for 17 years. We are still healing with my 4 children. It is well dear. My comfort scripture Romans 8:28.
