Thank you for watching folks! I have some awesome news coming out next Monday - Please check out www.coffeehousecrime.com and sign up if you'd like to be the first to hear the news. And I'll see you here next Monday 16th October for the reveal! :)
Bless the hunter who found her. You can hear how he's getting emotional thinking about finding her and seeing his own daughter there at 18:30. You can tell he's a good man for that. I can't imagine the nightmares he has after this. The police should be ashamed for their mishandling of this case.
Day after day state after state and city by city they are rude crude and clueless! We need to start holding people in authority with unpaid discipline. In my city they beyond disrespectful and corrupt and I see stories all over you tube. 🙏❤️😊
Oh Adrian- I’m So Very Glad you included the clip of Mr. Larry Stone who found Holly’s remains whilst hunting for ginseng. A Bear of a man with a Gentle Disposition who was affected deeply by finding Holly. This man is a father and laid flowers at the site he found Holly’s remains whilst clearly getting emotional and fighting tears- There are still some GOOD PEOPLE in this ever increasingly evil world of ours and he is certainly one of them- Bless you Mr. Stone🙏.
I feel terrible for the Bobo family, but Holly's brother is very suspicious. I get a feeling that he knew who the murderer(s) were but didn't want to identify him/them because he was involved in their drug making business
Something tells me, Holly's brother is not being as honest as he should be. I believe he knows exactly who walked Holly into the woods that day. If one of your parents tells you your sister is in danger and to grab a gun, you grab a gun. He hangs about and doesn't follow them into the woods. Why? Any other person would have ran after them and threatened to blow the guys brains out, but the brother phones his mother back and the police. I'm sorry but that's just to strange for my liking..
"That's not Drew! Shoot him!" "r u sure? :(" Dude. Take. Action. Is your mom gonna tell you to murder a man if she wasn't sure? Plus like, just running out with a bigass gun might have helped! If it WAS Drew, haha oh man dude I thought you were kidnapping my sister! and if it's a KIDNAPPER you SHOOT HIM. Like what in the hell.
@@bobaTJexactly . I don't know why he didn't help his sister and if he really didn't think his Sister was in danger and he was just afraid , I can only imagine his guilt but something just doesn't seem right about him but I hope I'm wrong . I have a young daughter and two older sons and they'd move heaven and earth to protect their sister and she them , they protect each other over anyone r anything , so I just don't understand this brother .
Before even finishing the story I said this same thing to my husband...he was trying to tell me it could be different I'm like 🤨😒 ain't no flipping way...I was shooting him even if only in the leg or at least ran out there and threatened him but SOMETHING...he literally watched the person carry his sister.... that doesn't sound right to me at all, if he had a disability of any kind that would be a difference but no that doesn't sit right 😢
I’m sorry but her brother’s nonchalance is the primary reason the murder even happened in the first place. How do you see someone in camouflage with your sister, looking unhappy and saying “no, why” your mom screaming that’s not Drew, get a gun and you are still on the phone trying to call the same sister and Drew and everybody else and not the police or running out to find out what’s going on. It won’t surprise me if the brother is complicit. I’ve never seen a worse case of STUPIDITY. How could Holly have screamed so loudly that a neighbour heard, panicked and called their mom but the brother, in the house did not hear??? The house isn’t even big. The brother needs to take a lie detector test, this doesn’t make sense.
My thoughts exactly. I'd not be surprised to learn that the inmates are all innocent in her murder case, the phone of one of them even pinged elsewhere during a crucial timeframe. & Tbh the shady brother's story doesn't add up, the parents know but don't wanna lose him to prison. Just my opinion, of course I can be wrong.
Look into what's referred to as normalcy bias: a "...cognitive bias which leads people to disbelieve or minimize threat warnings. Consequently, individuals underestimate the likelihood of a disaster, when it might affect them, and its potential adverse effects." (from Wikipedia) This would explain what her brother was likely dealing with in the moment. I'm sure the man is living in constant guilt for not having taken action, and I'm dismayed at the number of people who think he's to blame for what happened or is involved in some way.
Bruh to accuse the brother of being involved is unhinged. Dont act like everyone would do the same in an emergency situation or that everyone knows what to do or how to react. Some people even just are in shock or denial, hoping its all just a misunderstanding and soon his sister comes out fine. Hope you feel great hiding behind your pc screen saying this type of horrid shiz about the family of the damn victim. Go outside.
Always loved Adrian's delivery of these stories. Starts with the victim, ends with the victim. Many of these videos put so much focus on the killers. Adrian puts the focus on the victim. I like that.
Why was the brother intentionally stalling??? Get out the window, go outside with the gun, and ask questions out there. Watching him walk away with your sister is insane 😳 . I absolutely believe he knew those guys and was a part of their meth business. Shame on you, Clint, for being a coward and costing your sister her life. 🤬 One thing this story left out was Clint was 25 years old at the time!!! Holly was 20.
Exactly what I am thinking also. So obviously Holly’s Brother wouldn’t wanna admit to manufacturing meth at the time because that’s a whole other charge. BUT it seems a set up all the way around for one reason or another, targeted at Holly. We’ll never know for sure because the people who know the facts are either no longer with us or sitting behind bars denying their level of involvement in this.
OMG! I thought Clint was maybe 4 years younger based on a family photo. I thought that was why he called his Mom rather than grab a gun and race after Holly.
I think the brothers lack of action questionable too.. I've seen this before and each time think the brother needs to be honest. His sister is dead. R. I. P. Holly. From New Zealand 🇳🇿
While I agree, I have a VERY lazy brother myself. we're close and love each other, but I can't even ask him to clean his own litterbox. I don't know if he was stalling, I just think he was lazy. Either way, stagnating got someone killed and I hope he feels guilty.
For real, I keep wanting to give some sort of benefit of the doubt. But honestly even just yelling to let someone know you're watching would be enough. His mom time him to take action, he knew he had to do something and it's just too much of a coincidence that he would be too scared.
There’s something that makes me uneasy about Holly’s brother. I mean, when you see / hear your sister yelling at strangers isn’t it normal to go immediately to see what’s happening armed as his mom asked him? Doesn’t makes sense to me. I’ll call the 911 while going to help my sister, he just stayed listening to the conversation and worst he didn’t understand s@!t! RIP Holly, help the police to arrest the right person.
This happened near my neck of the woods. Such a horrifying and heartbreaking case. She had her whole life ahead of her. It is scary to think that there are people that walk among us that can even think of doing all that was done to Holly. She must have been so afraid. Thank you, Adrian, for bringing more awareness to this case.
I hope you all give Clint a hard time, he wasted so much time phoning people instead of getting off his ass and helping his sister, hopefully he can't live with his dumb actions and ends it all
I live in Georgia I remember hearing about this beautiful young woman just so heartbreaking this world is so crazy I pray for her family I can’t imagine what they have went through
@@makeasylumsgreatagain864whilst I agree his course of action was questionable, whether it was because he'd just woken up I don't know but I'm sure this kid has had to deal with the guilt every day of his life. You saying you hope he can't live with his actions & end's his life is abhorrent, he didn't abduct & murder his sister, nobody knows how they're going to react to a situation until it happens. I'm sure he's played it over n over ever since but this family have suffered & lost enough, I wouldn't wish more misery on any of them, that's just vile.
My God! The testimony of good man who found her remains left me emotional and shaking, when he said he felt someone touching him and feeling that it was a way of telling “I’m here” sent chills down my spine and left me in tears. Hope he’s doing well. RIP to Holly and my prayers to her family. Thank you for bringing attention to this case.
Why would the mother's initial reaction to her son's phone call be to scream "That's not DREW!!" Something is missing here (well, a lot of things are missing but that one stands out).
It says in the video. Drew was hunting on Holly’s grandmother’s property. You don’t do that without informing the owner that you’ll be there that day - even w standing permission granted. It would make all the sense in the world that Holly’s mother knew exactly where Drew was - especially if it was the property of Holly’s maternal grandmother.
@@marilynbenn2083She couldn't have known for certain. There are a hundred reasons why Drew could have come back... not only that she knew it was such an imminent threat that she asked her son to shoot him.
I would say another thing that stands out is asking the mum if she was going to school. The only reason to ask this logically speaking is he wasn't actually sure it was his sister otherwise common sense says he could just ask her.
The brother not doing anything is so frustrating. If your sibling is upset even if it’s with someone she’s dating YOU GO OUTSIDE AND MAKE SURE THEY’RE OKAY
I thought the same thing, his mom had to tell him two different times to get a gun,and that wasn't her boyfriend and call the police. I wonder, and I am not trying to be disrespectful if her brother had something to do with it? I am from Tennessee. She was a very beautiful young woman.
Yeah. Unless he is a 12 yr old there is no damn excuse for his lack of action. He's a real cellphone warrior. This is what's happening to our country. People are raising helpless man babies who couldn't protect their gummy bears from my little sister .... So sad. Unless the facts as told in this video are Incorrect. They always say not to blame yourself, and there's nothing you could have done. In this case it sounds like he should blame himself and there's a lot he could have done.
Hello! I’ve waited years for a big time RUclipsr to cover this. I’m from one county over in West Tennessee to this case thank you SOOOO much for finally bringing in this case to the world. I’ve not finished the video but I know it will be GREAT. I’m from Henderson county. This was in Decatur county. We all followed very closely. Love you Adrian!!!!
I remember commenting something about wanting him to cover it a month or so ago. I’m so glad he did. I’m from Middle TN and man I GREW UP constantly hearing about searches for her. It was so sad.
Hi Coffee House Crime. RIP Holly. There, once again, never an excuse for mistreatment of anyone. I hope those guys spend the rest of their lives in prison. Peace to you & yours, love, Janine Smiley🙂🙃🫠😉😗😘🥰😍😇❤❤❤
Thanks for remembering Holly. Her horrible murder must be a tragedy to all who knew her. The brother is a coward and did not protect his sister, so she is dead. I do not know whether he was involved with meth or knew the perps, but his response was unconscionable. It seems more likely the attractive Holly was targeted, because there is no rational reason why the perps would show up to learn how to make meth, then decide to segue to rape and murder. The two types of crime do not correspond.
There are a ton of videos about this No offense to Adrian but he certainly is not the only creator to bring "awareness" to this case, it's been covered by plenty. I think every TC creator has done a video about this case. 🤷.
Thanks again, Adrian. Something of a tangled web, here. How did they find she was raped? They had no body. What about the gun? Even her brother, who looked to see Holly with another by the garage. Before he opens the window, or goes down to her outside, he's ringing mom. He has access to a firearm, so why didn't he go get it and go to Holly? She and her abductor walked away, they didn't drive away. And her brother saw only one man with Holly, I'll come back to that point. The mom said to Clint 'That's not Drew! Grab a gun and shoot [the man]!!', at a point where nothing was known to have happened to warrant such a reaction. And then there's the suspects. The case hinged on Jason's testimony, which came about through pressure on him because Dylon implicated Jason with Zach in the case. I felt Dylon came with this story to alleviate the gun charges on him. Then there's a question - why would Dylon just drop his brother and Jason into the case like that, out of the blue? Possibly on coercion by the police, who were aware of Zach's drifting and drug addiction. A scapegoat. Jason, as well as Dylon, pins the murder onto Zack, which might give someone alarm bells on being onto something. Going by Jason's testimony, he was just an accessory after the fact. But then, his testimony was questionable. Jason said all three of them went to the house to meet with Clint, which Clint denies. Did Clint deny knowing them at all? Clint said one man went off with Holly, so where were the other two, if they ALL went to the house? And if the three of them were there for Clint, why didn't they just knock on the door for him? And remember, this was early morning, around the time the parents would leave the house. Why arrange to be there so early with the household up and present, aside from Clint? Then there's Zach's girlfriend at the time, who he threatened to dispose of as he did with Holly. Zach was said to have threatened Dylon likewise. Again, a hint in the right direction. All three found guilty of aggravated murder, rape and kidnap, so Jason was spared a lengthy jail term with time served, following his testimony against the brothers. I don't believe the three of them were there at the house for Clint. i wonder if one of them, possibly Zach since he was a drifter and addict, was there to steal, and was caught by Holly. She may have been familiar with Zach, since she didn't raise an alarm, or couldn't under threat, and so she was marched away into the woods, where the other two met with Zach. From then possibly came the plot to kill her. Neither Jason nor Dylon implicated each other in the rape nor murder, but we have their evidence Zach did so. Then they both helped Zach dispose of her body. At the end of it all, another life has been taken, innocently, viciously, and I feel the culprits have been found and judged. I don't think justice is doing enough to curb these murders, they seem too often. People are taking them up almost like a hobby, a pastime, a means to an end like a ride to the shops. The deterrence is not strong enough, after so many decades, it's deplorable.
Thats why clint asked if she was going to school and why he didn't act right away, he was hoping she would leave it alone and go to school as he didn't want to get in trouble. Also why he didn't call police right away in fear of being involved with meth. How doesnt it match up Adrian? The guys testimony matches the coroners report. Also that one guy you said did match the description in the garage too
I'm from the area. It was absolutely heartbreaking all of those years. They ended up keeping Zack in our towns jail, and they ended up having to protect him in fear of riots. I had a friend working there at the time and he was SUCH a diva.
Very interesting case. I am alarmed that the brother didn't do more. Instead he's wasting time making phone calls when he should have ran into the garage to make sure his sister was okay. I ask why did he behave like a coward? What made him so uncertain? Why didn't he grab his weapon?
7:05 Instead of going outside to see what was going on Clint called his mom to ask her if his sister was going to school or going home with Drew then his mom said, "That's not Drew! Shoot him!" Lets say her mom knew Drew was hunting on her parents or in laws land, how does she for sure know that wasn't Drew with Holly and why would she tell Clint to shoot him not knowing who it is or the situation? Again, why didn't her brother go outside to check on his sister knowing she was in distress? Do you not see how weird those actions are because that's 0 to 100 in an instant. Why is the mother is such a panic when she have no clue what's going on. Either you're not filling in the gaps or working with what you have. I find it very strange that the brother didn't do anything but call people and the mom freaking out for some apparent reason by your account.
Yes. It all seem very strange. Telling to shoot a person wh owas seemed to be talking with the daughter is seemed weird. If she was not at home how did she know it was not Drew. Also even after mom telling this why didnt brother didnt take any action? Her mother said to call 911 yet he didnt till he sees blood. Why didnt he atleast went outside and talked to the man? And why didnt Holly asked for help and walked with the murderer? This all seem very weird
They already said it wasn’t Drew because of the suspect’s body frame/height was taller. That’s how Clint also knew it wasn’t Drew as well. The mom was panicking because she was working in a different county which means calling 911 from her location wouldn’t help. She’s watching all this go on video at work after being alerted by her neighbor.
Why didn't the brother at least call the police when even the dogs sensed something was off and were barking like mad? If I saw my sister with a stranger and she was yelling 'no,' that would be my first instinct!
To be fair he just woke up and was very confused because he thought the man was her BF. Its only later that he realized the guy was bigger than her BF and might not have been him
I have freaked out about perceived things that have happened to my sisters.. something that clearly off, i feel like most brothers would really be on that
So many questions. Who did the mom think it was to tell her son to shoot him? Why did she go straight to shooting him? She must have known it was someone bad to go straight there. Why didn’t the brother follow them or at least call out to them? Why didn’t she run back into the house? Why did they walk calmly into the woods when she could have run back into the house or started screaming right then? What happened in the garage to cause a blood puddle? If she was dumped in the river or the woods how did she end up in a bucket?? Where did the bucket come from? Did they decapitate her to put her head in a bucket? Did they recover a bullet? Was there any scraps of clothing with her bones? Anything to test for DNA? Sooooo many questions. Poor holly. She seemed beautiful and sweet.
My guess is Holly was being walked into the woods at knifepoint, hence the blood in the garage. But I don't buy Clint's testimony. It has too many holes.
Is anyone else curious about how Holy’s mother knew immediately her son called her that the man in the garage was not holy’s boyfriend? Another question, why did holy’s brother wait for their mum to ask him to call the authorities before he did even though he already saw that the man in the garage was not holys boyfriend?
So sad with so many witnesses no one could save her. Holly’s brother must be beside himself. This murderer left a trail of horror no one should go through.
You did a great job with this. I’ve heard this case repeatedly but I’ve never been able to remember it later, but after your video I’ll never forget it.
I live in Nashville and remember this case well. It shows how incompetent police are and that this case should've been solved years before it was. Adrian if you want another case to research in Tennessee, look up the case of Tabitha Tudors. She went missing in 2003 walking to her school bus stop two blocks from her home here in Nashville and hasn't been seen since. She was last seen getting into a red car from a witness and thats the last known sighting of her. Police waited a couple of days before actually treating this as a missing persons case and then they decided to do a search. I volunteered for that search party and hardly any evidence was found. It's a,strange case that has gone down many different avenues.
that seems clear to me, as well. but, I really hope it's not what it seems they've already lost one child, it would be unbearable to lose both I'd think
Great content Adrian, i admire how you kept up production value over the 2 years i've been following you. I also appreciate you resisting inflationary pressures and kept coffee prices low. I wonder if you've been made aware to the case of 13 year old Sandro Beyer. He got tortured and murdered by band members of the german black metal band "Absurd" whom later mocked him in their song "Werwolf" Allegations are that he knew another band member had an affair with the wife of a local pastor, and thus had to be silenced.
I’ve been commenting and asking bigger RUclipsrs to cover this case because it intrigued me so much. For years I have wondered about this case and am happy that someone I follow is finally covering it. I haven’t watched it yet but already I would like to say thank you! She was such a bright woman and I know would’ve done amazing things. Unfortunately it was all taken from her :(
Hello from the US in Southeast Georgia!!!! Your one of my favorites in True Crime and love how your cases covers the story of the victims. Not many true crime influencers do that. They focus on the killers life story.
Hi Adrian, great work keep it up! As a resident in France I think the case of Jonathann Daval might be a good story to cover...He sneakily murders his wife then cries on French TV for months supported by his dead wife's parents. He eventually gets caught and then says his in laws killed his wife! Anyway just a thought...
I am so glad you covered this case, I have been waiting for someone to! I remember when this was unfolding in 2011, the first case that got me interested in following true crime. So, so tragic.
It means a lot to me that you say "look after each other". Thank you for your character and style in the delivery of such difficult and traumatic stories
She screamed and then her brother witnessed them speaking. Why were they there? I'm kinda siding with the statement they were there to teach the brother. Why would they need to add that? And why was her brother so sketchy and not getting straight out there to help her. He said she looked distressed and then watched her walk away 🤔
Thank you for covering this. I remember this case so well. Having her poster on the door for YEARS. I feel she didnt get the justice she deserved. Closure for the family and friends of Holly may still need to be met, in my opinion. It was not far from where i live. She seemed like a lovely girl and never deserved what she went through. ❤ you never know what people are truly capable of. P.S. I AM IN NO WAY RELATED TO JASON! Im saying this now because for years i have been asked if i am because we have the same last name. May Holly Bobo Rest in Peace❤
Nashvillian here: This case was omnipresent for the five or six years while it played out. Word is the testimony of the cooperating defendant is true -- Holly's brother, Clint, was to be initiated into their methamphetamine business, and they kidnapped her to both keep her quiet and to take out some of their anger against Holly for snubbing them at points in the past. Senseless, really.
Just awful. I recall when this happened. There must be some truth muddled in there, why she was in the garage. Why was her brother hesitant to shoot, after Mom told him too? Of course he wouldn't admit that those guys were there to show him how to make meth. Why were they there? Such an egregious response to getting yelled at in a garage. Very busy. A lot of half truths going on there. God bless her family and those who loved her.
This story has always been fishy. The fact that the mom automatically knew that it wasn't Dylan was always odd and made me think that the family knew more than they let on.
I think the mother knew it wasn't because drew was hunting on the grandmothers land, you have to ask permission to do that so I'm assuming she knew he was there. But the brother is very fishy with his inaction. Bear in mind he was 25 at the time. He wasn't a frightened child so why wouldn't he follow them into the woods after seeing and hearing all of that?
The fact that the brother basically just sat there and watched his sister get abducted, even though his mother told him to get a weapon and stop them, just blows my mind. Didnt even try to follow. Got to wonder if they were there to teach him to cook meth and he recognized them, maybe didnt want to get in trouble and gave a false description to save his own ass. I cant think of why else he would just let them go.
Shocking/interesting case. Thank you for bring this case to light. I enjoy listening to your voice as I cook or even when I just lay in bed, it distracts me from pains. Thank you for doing the most. You're appreciated 🎉
Thank you Adrian. I appreciate your research and all of the work you put into making these videos. Watching this while sipping tea and multi-tasking as usual.
Its terrifying to think someone can just walk into your yard and grab you when you go out to tell them to leave, assault you and kill you. Its really odd how the brother just stood there and watched her being led away, not even listening to his mother.
This case has always baffled me. Poor Holly, she looks and sounds like she was a sweet girl. I love Tennessee though! I was just there for an Arctic Monkeys show a few weeks ago.
I feel terribly for her mom and brother - it must be so hard to have been helplessly witnessing as Holly was being taken, and then for the case to go cold so quickly despite that
@@haydensmith5718Its frustrating but I dont think its fair to blame the brother. He probably already blames himself enough. The brother didnt know what was going on, he just woke up and saw his sister with who he thought was her Bf. Most people's first instinct is to assume things are normaI and that they are just misunderstanding what is happening, not to assume that something awfuI is happening at that moment. The brother didnt reaIize that this was an unusuaI and dangerous situation untiI it was too late
@@botanicalitus4194that’s his story. Probably the brother was in involved with selling meth and didn’t want police involved. There’s something off about him not calling 911 before his mom asks him to.
@@botanicalitus4194 Nope. Is he reliable as a meth head? If it was my family member I'd been in there like a ball of fire. No excuses. Further, his mom told him twice what to do and he pissed around.
@coffeehousecrime another case from TN I feel doesn’t get talked about but deserves to be told is the case of Sgt. Baker with the Dickson county sheriff’s office, the guy who killed him went on the run and the whole story to it is absolutely mind blowing
Same thing I said even when the mom said call the police he didn't went to the garage seen blood then called. I said before I watched the entire video the brother may have known who it was is why he didn't call in a hurry.
I really love the time and research you put into your videos. I was wondering if you could ever do one on Corrie Mckeague, when I lived in Suffolk he disappeared one night after drinking and was never found
Her brother has to know something!! How are you gonna watch your sister be walking away with a strange man?!? Why didn’t he run after her, obviously she was in distress when her heard her in the garage? And we’re did the blood in garage come from??
This happened just miles from me. Brings up way too many memories of it. Families knowing families and people all working together. I can remember ALL the people searching. Now as a father of a beautiful daughter, it scares me knowing it can happen here. A lot on this never added up. I saw all of this investigation go down. It was horrific. All the work of the community people, state, and everyone did show that people Can work together tho. ❤
Im actually on time! Thank you for all your videos and I'm super excited for the upcoming news (low key hoping it's a true crime cafe). I shall now indulge in the video, with a coffee of course. ☕
I dont usually comment but want to say i really like your channel and the way you emphasize the victims versus the sick individuals who do these horrible things. Also Fat Cat and Pumpkin say meow to Nero. ❤
Going by only the information you said the brother seems very sus. The dogs woke him up, but the scream heard by neighbors didn't? He didn't go check on his sis when she was distressed or call the cops? Did he not try and follow them after he supposedly got the gun? Also, the cops not being able to simply forward the call or give the number for the correct station is bs.
I’ve seen this case from some crime shows on TV (48hrs or 20/20) and also another True crime RUclips channel… But even if I’m familiar with a case - I ALWAYS enjoy Adrian’s spin on it!
That is terrible. He watched his sister walk into the woods with a stranger AFTER the mother told him she's in danger and to shoot him. I would have been out there before they reached the woods. 😢
I breefly checked some of these comments and had to pause this video to comment. I tis ABSURD to blame her brother. He tought she was having a conversation with her boyfriend at first. He did not hear her screams, and conversation wasnt too alarming- escpecially if you think it is with your gf/bf. Yes, he could have saved her, but this was not his fault. It is easy to say when you sit behind your keyboard safe and sound that "I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS AND THAT!".
I agree, way too many people going on about the the brother He was sleeping and probably still sleepy and thought he saw her arguing with her bf I wouldn't have intervened either if it was one of my siblings
This is such a tragic and sad case. She was such a beautiful and loved young lady. Multiple people saw or heard suspicious activity, yet no one knew what it really was. There were so many opportunities to help her. So sad
I think there are many unanswered questions here, especially regarding the brother. But most importantly is she is now at peace. Thank you for the way you always make the stories about the victims and not as much about the perpetrators.
As a woman, if i see 3 strange men walking by my property i probably would not want to confront them alone. I seen these case before and the story and actions of her brother always puzzled me. If my mom called me in a panic telling me my sibling is in danger, that would wake me the f up from whatever sleepy dizinnes i might have. If I detected something wrong from her voice after looking out the window i will at least make my presence know to deescalate whatever argument i think shes having with her bff. Its all just so baffling.
I can understand the brothers confusion at the time but if his mom said that’s not her boyfriend and grab a gun why would you then go on to ask 20 different questions instead of going out their
Adrian, my man. I love your channel, and have the utmost respect for how you handle these cases. That being said, the first sentence in this video made me do a damn double take so fast, cuz I swear I heard Honey Boo Boo, and got hella confused, hella fast. Needless to say I went back and listened 6 more times and finally understood. Granted it is 2am, and I've been awake for quite some time. 😂
Her bro seems shady in this story. Why wouldn't he call 911 and take further action when he realized it wasn't her bf? He hesitated even after his mother told him to do it.
Hello Adrian! I have watched your podcast for at least two years and I enjoy your stories. Parsons is less than an hour my home. Holly has a highway named after her. It was horrible to see her family suffer so much. She was lovely young lady. Thank you for covering her story.
This is a well known case but I've never understood the motive or what was going on outside the house when she was taken. I mean, if those guys came to the house to meet Clint, then Clint knew them. So why did it take so long to catch them? Was Clint lying about everything?
I have two younger brothers. If either of them detect any type of DISCOMFORT from me, they are jumping up to find out what is going on. I am floored in regards to Clint's hesitation.
I really enjoy your content, always really well researched and put together. Have you ever considered putting the audio from your videos into a podcast format? I’d really like to be able to just listen while I’m walking to work or whatever else I’m up to!
I'm burning with rage !!it took the brother so long to do the right thing,I had to go back to the beginning of the video to confirm if he is an adult or a child. He could have stopped what happened.
Thank you for watching folks! I have some awesome news coming out next Monday - Please check out www.coffeehousecrime.com and sign up if you'd like to be the first to hear the news. And I'll see you here next Monday 16th October for the reveal! :)
I comment at the beginning because I love you no matter what Adrian, xo. Psps to Nero

Hi Adrian, thank you for covering this case and all that you do.👍🙂
Keep up the amazing work 👏😊💯🎉
Can't wait
Awesome anxious for it!!! 😊🎉
Bless the hunter who found her. You can hear how he's getting emotional thinking about finding her and seeing his own daughter there at 18:30. You can tell he's a good man for that. I can't imagine the nightmares he has after this.
The police should be ashamed for their mishandling of this case.
Sounded like he has a daughter of his own
Day after day state after state and city by city they are rude crude and clueless! We need to start holding people in authority with unpaid discipline. In my city they beyond disrespectful and corrupt and I see stories all over you tube. 🙏❤️😊
@@lorettascott5477 personally I'm of the opinion that police training needs to be more in-depth and longer than the academy
If only he stopped hunting.
@@honda-akari He was Hunting for GINSENG.
His description of the man who walked off with Holly could very well be a lie not wanting to be linked to this.
I was thinking the same thing and just didn't wanna say it. Lol
@@stanparker9556Same here.
Yep. 100%. He failed to give chase and provided a false description.
I completely concur !
And Clint was 25 years old!!! Not a little kid.
He was 100% in on it. Same reason he provided a false description.
Just my opinion, of course I can be wrong.
agree
It's Tennessee so head to toe camo is not uncommon, but yeah between the brother and the police ... poor girl
Adrian is great. He is always so respectful and reasonable. A gem of the true crime community. 💜
I remember seeing her beautiful face on billboards, I'm in the Tri-Cities
I hope you all give Clint a hard time, he wasted so much time phoning people instead of getting off his ass and helping his sister, hopefully he can't live with his dumb actions and ends it all
I live in Georgia I remember hearing about this beautiful young woman just so heartbreaking this world is so crazy I pray for her family I can’t imagine what they have went through
And all those scary dude... have guns
A LOT of things are missing, sad to say.
@@mohamedbanni9421 It says in the video......mom called the boyfriend who confirmed he was hunting.
FR stop laying in bed and go run out there!!!! What is he doing!!!

Sadly another shining example of how utterly incompetent police are!
Hello! I’ve waited years for a big time RUclipsr to cover this. I’m from one county over in West Tennessee to this case thank you SOOOO much for finally bringing in this case to the world. I'm from east tn, sneedville to be exact and I wouldnt brag about being from west TN 😂 I definitely wouldn't claim it either
He isn't just a coward. He was in on it. That's also why he provided a false description.
This is a VERY scary case, thank you Adrian for bringing this case to our awareness!!
I have never forgotten this case, just like the case of Jennifer Kesse. Just terrifying.
There are a ton of videos about this No offense to Adrian but he certainly is not the only creator to bring "awareness" to this case, it's been covered by plenty. I think every TC creator has done a video about this case. 🤷.
@@gmimi2That’s what I meant, his videos bring awareness! 😕
@@deedragongirl Ya missed the point lol
She definitely knew them. In a rural southern town with less than 1200 people pretty much everyone knows everyone.
@@awesomeman8385 do you know 1200 people? i dont
I always appreciate your respectful tone to victims, these videos show we live in a dark cruel world
Thats why clint asked if she was going to school and why he didn't act right away, he was hoping she would leave it alone and go to school as he didn't want to get in trouble. Also why he didn't call police right away in fear of being involved with meth.
How doesnt it match up Adrian? The guys testimony matches the coroners report. Also that one guy you said did match the description in the garage too
The perfect way to start my day, coffee and a story from one of my faves. Thank you for what you do Adrian, you’re a delight.
Don't know why, but my spidey-sense keeps tingling in regards to the brother!?!?
I'm from the area. It was absolutely heartbreaking all of those years. They ended up keeping Zack in our towns jail, and they ended up having to protect him in fear of riots. I had a friend working there at the time and he was SUCH a diva.
Hope he’s “getting it on the daily” in prison
Very interesting case. I am alarmed that the brother didn't do more. Instead he's wasting time making phone calls when he should have ran into the garage to make sure his sister was okay. I ask why did he behave like a coward? What made him so uncertain? Why didn't he grab his weapon?
Because he was in on it. Same reason he provided a false description.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven. She was so beautiful and had such a promising future. Who would do this and weave such a web of lies?
Because they’re American & yanks seem to think everything should be solved with guns! 😂😂😂
@@SeaStarrsIt should be. If he did shoot the guy, Holly would still be alive.
Why didn't the brother at least call the police when even the dogs sensed something was off and were barking like mad? If I saw my sister with a stranger and she was yelling 'no,' that would be my first instinct!
To be fair he just woke up and was very confused because he thought the man was her BF. Its only later that he realized the guy was bigger than her BF and might not have been him
Which, still, if my brother saw my husband and I arguing and I was SCREAMING, I'm pretty sure he'd have checked that s--- out.
I have freaked out about perceived things that have happened to my sisters.. something that clearly off, i feel like most brothers would really be on that
Just one of many things that have always perplexed me about this case...we'll probably never know everything that happened or why
You guys didn’t watch until the end did you
So many questions.
You expressed every thought I was about to post. Strange, very strange... and tragic.
Yeah, there's a lot more to this case than it seems but unfortunately, I don't think much of it is going to be answered.
My guess is Holly was being walked into the woods at knifepoint, hence the blood in the garage. But I don't buy Clint's testimony. It has too many holes.
With indecisive brothers like hers who needs enemies🤷🏻♂️
Is anyone else curious about how Holy’s mother knew immediately her son called her that the man in the garage was not holy’s boyfriend? Another question, why did holy’s brother wait for their mum to ask him to call the authorities before he did even though he already saw that the man in the garage was not holys boyfriend?
It's somewhat terrifying that do many can do true crime cases and never run out of material. But keep doing what you do to bring the victims honor
So sad with so many witnesses no one could save her. Holly’s brother must be beside himself. This murderer left a trail of horror no one should go through.
Because of the meth ring, he didn't wanna get in trouble
Her brother had no intention of saving her. He was in on it.
So many unanswered questions, there's a lot more to this case than any of us will ever know
Adrian, you're so calm when telling us these horror stories and I thank you ❤ I'm easily scared
I hate to say it but since it happened I've always felt her brother knew more than he was ever gon say. Way more than meets the eye to this case.
that seems clear to me, as well. but, I really hope it's not what it seems they've already lost one child, it would be unbearable to lose both I'd think
He was 100% in on it. That's also why he provided a false description.

She screamed and then her brother witnessed them speaking. Why were they there? I'm kinda siding with the statement they were there to teach the brother. Why would they need to add that? And why was her brother so sketchy and not getting straight out there to help her. He said she looked distressed and then watched her walk away 🤔

Amazing content and delivery! I always get a little excited when coffeehouse notifications pop up.
Thank you,for doing this case !! I'm a Tennesseen it's terrible how the police 🚓 treated the crime scene!!!! Really enjoy your channel!!!
This story has always been fishy. The fact that the mom automatically knew that it wasn't Dylan was always odd and made me think that the family knew more than they let on.
I agree 100% about mom knowing it wasn’t the bf. Weird. I wish there was an explanation
I cant think of why else he would just let them go.
seriously. what a useless coward!

I feel terribly for her mom and brother - it must be so hard to have been helplessly witnessing as Holly was being taken, and then for the case to go cold so quickly despite that
The brother literally watched her get taken, why didn’t he just run out there and confront them instead of sitting on his cellphone watching.
@@haydensmith5718Its frustrating but I dont think its fair to blame the brother. He probably already blames himself enough. Further, his mom told him twice what to do and he pissed around.
I feel so bad for the brother. I hope he is doing okay
@coffeehousecrime another case from TN I feel doesn’t get talked about but deserves to be told is the case of Sgt. Baker with the Dickson county sheriff’s office, the guy who killed him went on the run and the whole story to it is absolutely mind blowing
If only Clint had reacted quickly, like his mom told him to...RIP Holly
Same thing I said even when the mom said call the police he didn't went to the garage seen blood then called. I said before I watched the entire video the brother may have known who it was is why he didn't call in a hurry.
He was in on it. Same reason he provided a false description.
Thanks for uploading Adrian!! ❤❤
I really love the time and research you put into your videos. I was wondering if you could ever do one on Corrie Mckeague, when I lived in Suffolk he disappeared one night after drinking and was never found
I feel for her family. The police had tunnel vision and their initial incompetence is staggering.
All the work of the community people, state, and everyone did show that people
Can work together tho. ❤
Seems like Clint could have saved his sister if he listened to his mom but he didn’t. So sad.
Once again a well balanced and compassionate narrative about a lovely young woman, who suffered. Prayers for her family and friends 🙏🫶🏻💪
Im actually on time! Thank you for all your videos and I'm super excited for the upcoming news (low key hoping it's a true crime cafe). I shall now indulge in the video, with a coffee of course. ☕
This is a perfect example of what's wrong with helicoptering parenting. The son was lucky he could breath without asking mommy what to do.
We see all your efforts in delivering quality contents. Good job Adrian! Keep it up! ❤
I’ve seen this case from some crime shows on TV (48hrs or 20/20) and also another True crime RUclips channel… But even if I’m familiar with a case - I ALWAYS enjoy Adrian’s spin on it!
Love your videos I watched them 12 hours at work today on a playlist and they never get old.
That is terrible. He watched his sister walk into the woods with a stranger AFTER the mother told him she's in danger and to shoot him. I would have been out there before they reached the woods. 😢
Make you feel good writing that? Big? Strong? Brave? How about empathy, compassion? You can’t step into his shoes so drop the judgement, not cool.
@@DMR1010 where was your empathy- with that comment.
I agree, way too many people going on about the the brother
He was sleeping and probably still sleepy and thought he saw her arguing with her bf
I wouldn't have intervened either if it was one of my siblings
This is such a tragic and sad case. She was such a beautiful and loved young lady. Multiple people saw or heard suspicious activity, yet no one knew what it really was. There were so many opportunities to help her. So sad
I'm not sure if you even realized. But you uploaded this video on Holly's 33rd birthday🎉❤🎉
I think there are many unanswered questions here, especially regarding the brother. But most importantly is she is now at peace. Thank you for the way you always make the stories about the victims and not as much about the perpetrators.
Holly's case always makes me so sad for her family.
And the other tragedy is we really don't know the who and the why. LE doesn't seem like they had a clue.
If the brother was the reason they were there I have 0 sympathy for him tbh
The brother was 25 years old when this happened. Holly was 20. Let that sink in....
Beautiful young woman murdered by evil filth.I dont understand why the brother didnt get the gun as his mother requested?.RIP Holly.
I second this
I'm burning with rage !!it took the brother so long to do the right thing,I had to go back to the beginning of the video to confirm if he is an adult or a child. He could have stopped what happened.
