I was happy to discover this on my own a few nights ago. I've probably spent over a thousand on Daz products, I'd love to use them in iClone. Now if only I could get my clothes and characters to look right. It seems like hit or miss with many daz items.

Yes, that looked amazing. Im hoping with CA5 you can do all these features. You'd need to either create in Illustrator or disect in Photoshop

What about all the texture maps? did the new version solve this? havent tried yet.
I can't be the only one. I put the FBX in iClone and I get a crash at 13%.
I didn't have the option to convert to subprops so maybe that was the issue? I used to have to use the pipeline to do this back with iClone 7 so I'm hoping I can get some help on why it's crashing because this seems super easy.
iClone has some good points, and some weaknesses. Maybe you will be the one to show the path around the weaknesses. I'd like that. I did notice that you plan to create rentware. I'm afraid that's a detractor.

Hmm, It seems not all of the additional textures are loaded, like roughness and normal as everything looks dull and cartoonish once you imported it in your video
Actually the main problem we are often facing in importing Daz Scens to IC8 is not having all the texture maps we need and some are missing, such as roughness map, displancement map and so on. Several tutorials in RUclips show the way to import all the needed texture maps but they are quite complicated and not all time successful...
Oh yea, i had a go at a guy called mike kelly, had to download python etc. complete nightmare.

What if it doesn't ask you about the subprops? It comes in as one full object, with no subprop option. HELP!
