- EU4 Tiwi is the most frustrating EU4 Native there is. That's because I've played them. We've had to wait for the Europeans to turn up to finally get something going - but the likes of EU4 Castile, EU4 England and EU4 Portugal have all decided to attack us. Someone get me an EU4 Guide or EU4 Tutorial because every OTHER native to this region is also attacking us, but have no fear EU4 Exploits are on our side...

We're back with the worst region in EU4. Playing as a native in EU4 is already a hellish experience, but playing as a native in Australia in EU4 is EVEN WORSE. We're stuck on this continent, waiting for one of EU4 England, EU4 France, EU4 Portugal or EU4 Castile to turn up. I'd take the EU4 Ottomans or EU4 Mamluks at this point. Okay, maybe not but still, join me in the continuation of "The region that NO ONE plays in EU4"
EU4 has some wonderful flavour and depth... but not here. Today we play in the worst region in the game, a region you should never play in. We're talking about EU4 Natives but worse - EU4 Australia. Here we have NO EU4 formable nations, nothing to aim for, and just have to wait for colonisation to happen. That's right, we're on one way trip to struggle and you're along for the ride.

As someone who plays natives a lot, you're incredibly bad and frustrating at them. You really want to play them like a nation from Europe or Asia, and they in no way function like that. Federations, and government progress is key. Also actually taking 5 minutes to read all your reforms and not just clicking on whatever bonus you normally would do for a European power helps too.

Red Hawk became emperor of China starting as these dudes or some other Aussie native. I didn’t realize how hard that actually was until I watched this series.
RedHawk did it the easier way by converting to a horde early, this is the hard mode version.

@@benabaxter I believe Tiwi might also be one of the indigenous tribes that starts as a settled tribe.
The leaders used to die when the whole fleet sunk in the see, until I believe leviathan it was sometimes possible to kill your ruler or heir like that, you put him on the command on 1k troops and sent him on a single transport to the maker. Sometimes he died sometimes the game crashed, but you didn't lose prestige
Just like in CK2 when you would send out your chappy heir onto a boat and hope they get scurvy
You should go for the Australian achievement where you have to have Hungary as a subject. You have gone this far might as well.

It doesn't matter if you want to stop. This train will keep going to the end Date. CHUUU CHUUU. I actually really love this series. A true Underdog fight and not simply a small European Power or decent native tribe, but a real chalange. A true Grind

Just finished an Australia Hungary run myself, at points I fended of attacks from Portugal+ allies, GB+ allies, France+ Allies and Spain+ allies, sometimes seperately, sometimes together, it was though as hell.
Its brutal... Australia tribes are the worst. The NA tribes are super chill, federate have the cotenant then westernize
Hey Laith, just so you know, you can use colonists to passively improve your development once you run out of places to colonise

@nargaman261 Once you have colonists, click on a province and a box with the colonist icon should appear between the total development and development cost icons (promote settlement growth). Click on the box and confirm. The chance of development increasing depends on your global settler chance modifier and decreases the more developed the province is IIRC.

They should add formable native empires, like a Turtle Island formable in North America, Pindorama in south America and Uthuru in Australia, maybe also like a Polynesian formable called Pasefika that doesn't require the Malay archipelago or Australia

I've played as an Australian tribe multiple times, attempting to get the Australia Hungary achievement. I'm usually able to win the first war with Castille/Spain, but then another European shows up and after that it's just continual wars.
If you ever have to do an EU4 A to Z you would have to play in Australia so often. It would be hilarious
