Guards SP Triston McKenzie pitched somewhat okay but giving up 3 solo homers....not so good. I am thankful, Mets SP Jose Quintana no longer pitches for the white sox and the many times he has beaten the Indians in years past. After 5 grueling innings, the Guards were finally able to knock him out of the game with clutch hitter, 2B Andres Gimenez' 3 run homer. Rookie DH -1B Kyle Manzardo slowly continues to have good at-bats against MLB with a clutch extra base hit to drive in a run. Kudos to CLE rookie OF Jonathan Rodriguez' first MLB hit. Go Guards!

Thank God my Cleveland Guardians are playing like monsters this year. Almost unstoppable but they’re still a young team. I don’t think this team is just a “flash in a pan” and they are for real, for real. This team might be one of the best Cleveland teams we’ve seen. Not like the 90’s like someone has mentioned here but pretty darn close with this start. And to think they’ve been able to do this with Terry Francona gone and Steve Vogt in charge!!!
