Guards SP Triston McKenzie pitched somewhat okay but giving up 3 solo homers....not so good. I am thankful, Mets SP Jose Quintana no longer pitches for the white sox and the many times he has beaten the Indians in years past. After 5 grueling innings, the Guards were finally able to knock him out of the game with clutch hitter, 2B Andres Gimenez' 3 run homer. Rookie DH -1B Kyle Manzardo slowly continues to have good at-bats against MLB with a clutch extra base hit to drive in a run. Kudos to CLE rookie OF Jonathan Rodriguez' first MLB hit. Go Guards!

Thank God my Cleveland Guardians are playing like monsters this year. Almost unstoppable but they’re still a young team. I don’t think this team is just a “flash in a pan” and they are for real, for real. This team might be one of the best Cleveland teams we’ve seen.
