I would actually argue that if we slim the bezels even more, it will be hard to find a place to rest your hands while holding the kindle without accidental touch.
I have two Kindles. I have the smaller one and then I have the regular size one. I don’t even know how to describe them. I do not have the signature. The smaller one is definitely pretty close to the size of my iPhone 12 Pro Max but it is much lighter and weight so I would still prefer to read on that then on my phone. I tend to put that one in my purse. The one that is slightly larger that you have in this video is more for sitting at home and reading. I love them both. The only thing I think I would change is that I would love to be able to have the covers of all of my books appear in color instead of black-and-white. I have slight vision issues and so it would be nice and easier to recognize books in color. Kindle‘s were a game changer for me as a person with a vision impairment. Looking forward to a newer version in a year or so I guess.
I just read your comment. Did you see they just came out with a color kindle? I think it is called colorsoft. I think it is similar to the larger one you have (the paper white). Hope this helps!
Great Vid! The only negative I see with the Kindle Paperwhite is the power button placement. I belongs on the top where it won't be accidentally pressed by your fingers while you are reading a book.
Thanks! I totally get what you mean, and that was something I was worried about when I looked at it a few years ago. But to be honest, it wasn’t something I had a problem with
@@FaizAly on few occasions I pressed that power button by reading my books ... That's why I mentioned it. Not sure why Amazon thought it would be a good idea to have it at the bottom.
I still like my Signature Paperwhite too. I have had to since first release and have had no issues. I did get a Scribe last year and I probably use that more now, but the Paperwhite is my travel and on the go ereader. The Scribe is strictly for at home use.
@@Abdullah-zl9ub When at home I use the Scribe more than the Paperwhite, but I rarely take notes or make annotations. The bigger screen is great but it is also much heavier. Honestly, if the Scribe is within your discretionary budget, get it. Otherwise hold out for a great sale price.
HAve you used an Android ereader? I am contemplating between this and the Meebook M7 since a lot of my books are sideloaded anyway, but I am very enticed by the great battery life of the PW 5.
It’s a great product, but since it’s discontinued and no longer supported by Amazon, it won’t receive updates or new features. Just something to consider!

I agree
Agree also. No bezel is great for phones but not for an ereader.
I know it’s off the topic, but I have to say: these Kindle videos of yours are really good - always my favorites on Kindle tech
Your production is so high quality!
That means a lot, thanks!

I love my Paperwhite Signature Edition. It is worth the price for all the extras you get. Very nice review.
Cinematic review! Loved it ❤ It’s good to see you with a Kindle video after ages!
Thank you!

Really good to see an up to date review on this great device, thank you
My pleasure!
I love my paper white signature edition Nice review Faiz !
Thanks a ton! 🙏🏼

Love both, the paperwhite and scribe for taking notes!
Wondering is the scribe worth to get even if I won’t be Taking notes? I wanted to get oasis for the buttons but it’s discontinued

The oasis is 7 in. Still have mine and would recommend it if you can find it refurbished or like new on eBay or Amazon or wherever available.

Great review, Faiz!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Watching this video makes me want to read Harry Potter again 😍
My favorite books!
Do you recommend it because 😮I was going to get the kindle oasis ❤
Oh absolutely! Much better than Oasis
@@FaizAly wow 🤯 I wasn’t expecting that
Is the oasis still available? It’s been discontinued. I wanted to get it for the buttons and side area
Why is that?
@@Abdullah-zl9ub I love the buttons

I have a strong feeling a new Paperwhite is on the way this holiday season
This a new 2024 kindle?
No. It's still the 2021 version. There are rumours that a new one is supposed to come out soon, but I haven't heard anything more about that.
In my opinion, this was never the best Kindle. That honor goes to the Oasis and its page turning buttons.
I own and love the Voyage. For me it was the best Kindle ever (if you are ok with the 6 inches screen).
I have many ereaders from many different brands, even color ones, but for me the Kindle Paperwhite is the best ever and will be in 2024 too.
