This video was so relaxing! I loved all the tapping as well as the hand movements.
Seeing "Curious" by Britney Spears brought back so many memories. I respect the fact that celebrities are making more "high-end" perfumes now, but Curious was just so fun and accessible. It was affordable enough for teenagers to buy, and it genuinely looked like something Britney would keep in her own collection. You can't look at Curious or smell it without seeing Britney herself. I miss how colorful and silly everything was in the early 2000s. I feel like everyone takes themselves and their brands too seriously now.
That reminds me of the Christinia Aguilera perfumes :) some of my friends had the scents in those (relatively) small bottles as well, i think it was like early to mid 2010s :) They all kinda smell similar but the bottles just look so cute next to each other

Yes the 2000s were so playful... also I think you touched on something I've heard a few people talk about which is that now days there is no culture for preteen girls the way it used to be in the 90s and 2000s. Girls have to jump from childhood to being grown up women with no in between anymore and it's sad

White diamonds is like the mom perfume of the 90s. I was in gym class and this girl had a bottle. A few of us said my mom wears that. Her mom did too but she laughed and said she liked it anyway.
Don't sleep on Elizabeth Taylor! I own a bottle of Diamonds and Rubies and wear it whenever I want to feel old-school glamorous. It evokes fur coats and cigarettes on a chilly NYC night, red lipstick and jeweled manicured fingers. There's something so shamelessly luxurious about her perfumes and I honestly love that.

I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or if you mentioned it & I just didn’t here you, but you may really hate some of the really popular scents because the chemical make up of everyone’s pheromones is different so when you spray it directly on your skin different scents/nodes will react and cause a completely different smell from person to person. I only learned this a few years ago & had no clue that if two people were to smell the same bottle it would smell identically *_until_* they each sprayed it on themselves, then at that point it could react to the pheromones and turn into two completely & utterly different scents! 😂

I have that problem with perfumes all the time, so I end up just sticking to a couple that I know won't turn sickly and sour on me. Strangely I find men's fragrances are often better for me.
I got so sleepy watching this that when you sprayed the perfume i took a sniff expecting a smell to come out of my phone 😭

There where actually two other celebrity perfumes before "White Diamond". The first in 1981 was Sophia Lorean's "Sophia". And the other was Cher's "Uninhibited" in 1987.

Core childhood memory unlocked when you pulled out the White Diamonds. This had my grandmother and mother in a chokehold.... And had us kids gasping for breath and oh the longevity of the scent 😂.

Wonderstruck is my favorite perfume of all time 💜 I hate that they don’t make it anymore! I JUST finished my bottle from 2011 (please spare me the lecture of old perfume I do not care lmao), and have another bottle in the sealed box, I really want to open it to wear but it’s so hard to find anymore I don’t know if I wanna open it!! 24:30 i love eilish! i’ve only recently found it, but it became a fast favorite of mine. i typically go for cleaner scents, but wow is this a good one 😊 eilish 2 is definitely more gender neutral.
There was an AE parfume called Me that I miss so much. I tend to like scents from clothing stores that get discontinued. Like all the old gap scents.

Curious! I’ve been using it since highschool (17 years? Is that possible?) I’m still buying whenever I find a bottle, I can’t even identify what it smells to but is awesome. It breaks my heart that they don’t sell it anymore, I’m so sensitive to smell and that’s the perfect one. :( I changed to the pink one (also incredible) and as I felt I needed something a bit serious I tried Scandal (loved it!)

I think Calvin Klein was the first unisex or gender neutral perfume called CK One. I remember it was a big deal in the 90s, everyone wanted it LOL! I only remember it because Saturday Night Live did a parody of it. Anyways, how funny that now, 20 something years later people are protesting divided in hate over anything called gender neutral. No one boycotted Calvin Klein back then. Or maybe they did but without social media, it didn't get any attention. Interesting how things come full circle.

One of my earliest memories was the curious perfume I was born the year it came out and growing up she would always wear that perfume on my first day of school I had her spray me with it because I was going to miss her so I wanted to smell like her lol
Oh man 😭 I think I bought the Britney Spears perfume around 2008? I was maybe 14 and I think it was my first perfume purchase, it looked the same but had little gems dangling off the base of the sprayer. I loved how it smelled but I don’t remember it at all, now I need to buy one again, thanks 😂
