Hey guys! I just want to apologize for pronouncing Carolina Herrera's name incorrectly. It's Care-oh-LEE-nah not Care-oh-LINE-ah. It’s not that struggle with saying Carolina this way, it is that I did not double-check the pronunciation and Carolina’s background before making the video so I used the American English pronunciation of the word and only realized my error when I double-checked during editing. According to commercials for the brand in English-speaking countries I did get her last name correct, but in her native, Spanish-speaking Venezuela the "H" sound is dropped from the last name. I did research how to say “Thierry” beforehand, which may sound strange to English-speakers. I normally don’t care to listen to asmrtists talk but everything you say sounds so well spoken and in the most sweet, genuine voice and you always talk about interesting things. ❤️
I never knew the difference between parfum and toilette but that makes so much sense. My grandma had this perfume that was soooo strong and would last forever and it was in a super tiny tiny bottle. She would apply it to her fingertip and press it in behind her ears and on her wrists.
I wanted to like Angel but it smells like vitamin candies and rotten leaves on me... Patchouli is one tricky fella. Alien was actually my sister's first proper perfume. Her husband wanted her to pick a more expensive perfume for her birthday and she asked me for help. She disliked almost everything I showed her and the only one she liked was Acqua di Gioa. I was sighing and slowly getting content with the fact my sister will not be a perfume connoisseur like me. Then I let her smell Alien just for the giggles, saying it's one of the weirdest perfumes I've ever tried and that it smells like rubber. SHE LOVED IT! She even said she smelled turpentine in it - in a good way (she used to paint glass so it holds some nostalgia for her). And that's the story of how my sister became a more hardcore perfume junkie than me on her first perfume. Needless to say she and the perfume must have been made for each other because she gets tons of compliments on it.
If you had an educational ASMR podcast where you just whisper-teach us new things, I'd pay so much $ for that. I love how you explain things, it's obvious that you are great at putting in research, plus your ASMR voice is simply the best. A "hardcore history" type podcast from you would slay. But, hey, I'm also just grateful to get these videos!!! Thank you!

I'm a perfume junkie and an ASMR junkie so this video was incredible. I own over 200 scents!! Lots of vintage ones, Poison, Spark, Guess in the twist bottle...I love Mugler fragrances too, especially Alien Essence Absolu. AEA smells like root beer, vanilla n Amber. And Muse EDP smells like hazelnut. This video was awesome. I'm a New sub. 😁 oh n for those that are a lol put off by Angel, you may enjoy Angel Innocent. It's a less controversial version of Angel.
