  • The rock pigeon (Columba livia) is a feral species in North America, having been introduced to the Atlantic Coast in the 17th century. Its original range included Europe, Northern Africa, and Western Asia. Today, feral populations thrive in cities around the world.
    This individual momentarily got quite stressed at the sound of that mallard in the background!

    This rock pigeon is checkered as his wing feathers are a mixture of colours. Calls at 0:25

      Interesting. Yep, caught a little bit of it calling at the end : )
