- Sharing a day in my life taking care of my physically disabled husband since he got back home from his 7 weeks stay in the hospital. He feels the comfort of the old Japanese home with new medical equipments at his disposal. I was able to apply for the social welfare services. A Day Service system and a 24 hours on-call Nurses to check my husband's medical conditions. Thank God I can still continue my on-call job while taking care of my disabled Japanese husband living in our old Japanese traditional home.
You’ve made a beautiful home for you and your husband.
Although it’s a hard time at the moment, you are very blessed to have the services that you have. Many people don’t have them.
The second way you pulled the wheelchair up the ramp is the best. It’s easier for you. I speak from experience. Would be nice if you could buckle him in for safety since you don’t have someone to help you.
Life goes on, one day at a time. You seem strong enough to handle it. Take care of yourself!
Hello Gabrielle, the 1st night since he came back home was a tragedy. In just a matter of a few minutes away, I was in the kitchen, my husband fell down as he was trying to pick something. So scary but he was fine. Our "care manager" emphasize her advice that I now need more help and told me not to assume all the care especially giving a bath. Thank you, as always, for watching.
I will keep you in prayers Grace! Be strong in the Lord.
Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate it!
Thank you for sharing your life with us, Grace. It's simple and lovely.
I hope one day you can share with is your experience during your retirement time in the Philippines.
Hello, Christina. I'll share it in a "refine" way because it will somehow trigger sensitive issues of the government system and a lot of greedy businesses and individuals in that country. But I always feel the need to share my experiences to help fellow Filipino nationals wanting and longing to retire in the country where we were from. Thank you for your comment.
Grace, I wish you and your husband all the best. I hope you can both live to the full extent of your health and happiness. I’m praying for you both. 🙏
Thank you, Anne. I hope that without pressure and to the truest meaning of authenticity, I could share the depth of meaningful life in my simple way through my videos. Thank you, Anne.

Hi! You're the 2nd viewer who asked me about that song. It was played as intro to my video titled " Update of our old traditional house and its garden." I love that song, too! * Titled : Folded at the Corner by Kylie Dailey* ( I found this beautiful song from the software I use for making movies. The software company is Epidemic Sounds .
