One of the "Carry On" series with a Roman setting equally accurate. The "Coccium in Cornovii" sounds marginally indecent but refers to Wigan, the butt of 1950s jokes.
One of the great costume farces. Frankie Howard at his best, in command of the double entendre and punning with abandon. RIP Frankie and good old fashioned historically-laced farce.

Great series. Frankie Howerd is just laugh out loud. He's perfect for this and made the most of Talbot Rothwell's scripts. If anyone has got a copy of the feature film to upload that would round off the collection nicely.
