Pretty much all of the burst attacks have excellent sound design as well as visual design. The swirling sparkles of Braixen's initial beam, the rumbling of Machamps 1000 punches, the cute little "meow." as Weavile leaps up to slash.
Because Chandelure makes the roster more interesting than any of them would. It would've been kind of boring if all the Pokemon were anatomically the same, just because it's a fighting game.
Shadow Mewtwo was like "Fuck it, Frieza i'm borrowing your Death Ball for a sec" then Frieza just says "Ok, play nicely though", and shadow mewtwo justs walks off with a evil grin.
One thing I do like is that these burst attacks give the Pokemon personality. For instance, Machamp gives out that strong guy vibe because he's a powerhouse. Chandelure can be freaky if tempted the wrong way. Gengar is just..maniacal
