- Recently we took a trip to Normandy, in Northern France - and predictably, we went classic car spotting!
Well as it turns out, the untouched barns, garages and small towns were an absolute gold mine for any self-proclaimed classic car enthusiast, with amazing classic cars and trucks such as a €2500 1940s Dodge truck simply parked at the side of the road!
Of course there were many French classic cars to be discovered from a Citroen 2CV hanging off the ceiling to an abandoned Renault 5, all of which feature in this whistlestop tour of all of the classic cars we could find during one week spent in Normandy!
If you did enjoy this unique video, and could see yourself spending a holiday just like we did then do pop a comment in the section below, and let me know which of the classic cars we spotted would have made its way onto your driveway, someway or somehow!
Also do subscribe if you want to see more classic car content both British and French, and to ensure you don't miss out on two more of my upcoming videos of the great classic car related places we found.
Thanks for watching!

One of your most interesting videos Harley 👍
When I visited New Zealand I found there were loads of classic car enthusiasts.
Thanks Harley for your video. Tu fais de gros progrès en Français avec une prononciation parfaite👏
Hi harley your videos are brilliant keep up the good work thanks Allan
Hello. Well what an interesting trip. Lots of old French cars there. I thought you might stumble across a Panhard PL 17 from the 1950s / early 60s. I lived in a small country township with my family when i was young in the 1950s / early 60s. There was a garage close by where we lived and on the forecourt they sold cars. I liked to go down and have a look from time to time and see what was there. I always remember the odd French car being for sale. In particular the Panhard PL 17 and Simca Aronde models. I liked how they were different in looks to the other cars. I like French cars , and my favorite one is the Citroen ID / DS models. That Citroen Ami Estate and the grey coloured Renault 4 were the best i thought. Thanks for your video . From Carl in NZ.
That was cute! Car spotting with your dad? very wholesome. Very nice cars and video!
All I need is a baguette and carafe of wine to complete the illusion of being in Frenh sunshine surrounded by old French cars. Great vid Harley and Dad!😃
Great watch again thanks for the great video the staffy type pooch at the end was cute cheers guys 🙂
Another very enjoyable video. I'm so pleased that you all have had such a good holiday in France. Those old US military vehicles may have been used in the recent Normandy landings commemorations. I'm looking forward to upcoming videos coving the rest of your trip. Incidentally, did Mrs. OCC put a limit on the amount of "stuff" you could take home? Very kind of Alex to give you that tin, totally awesome.
Yep got two more videos of specific places we found coming soon, I actually came back from France with I think roughly 7 tins, I also bought four older 2 litre sized tins in a group deal for €20 among others which may have left a slight residue in the car's boot floor ;)
@@CarTractionvids Haha well done.
A most enjoyable video thanks, Harley (and of course Richard) Most of these cars never reached Australia so it is really interesting to see these beautiful French classics. Many thanks.
