I love how attentive jenna and julien are to the dogs. Like as soon as they seem even slightly uncomfortable they take off the costumes. I really respect that. Dog parenting is a1.

I know! I really wished Jenna would have just turned her channel into a dog channel! Everyone would have been completely fine with that!! But unfortunately I know she still gets hate on even these videos from vegans claiming she's a terrible person for owning dogs in the first place, or a terrible person for feeding them meat. And I think so many years of that constant negativity no matter how hard she tried to do the right thing just got to her. It's completely unfair. Because I do truly believe Jenna is a genuinely good person and that's why she care so much and doesn't want to hurt anyone even accidentally. So I understand why she doesn't post any more. But I really wish she would just make a dog channel.
In my opinion, that background music doesn't fit anyone else but Jenna. It's the soundtrack of the life of that household.

I love that they check their dog’s body language & make sure they’re not too uncomfortable. So many pet owners will ignore the signs that their pets aren’t having as much of a fun time as they are & I love that J&J have always genuinely cared for their doggos.
Every time Halloween comes around, I miss Jenna and her videos more and more! Because of her, I got my dogs Halloween costumes 🥺❤️

Watching the dogs get excited about halloween costumes makes me so happy - especially Bunny! Rescued greyhounds are so nervous and every time I watch these videos, I can tell that Bunny is learning something new, and that it isn't a threat. You are so consistent with training, praising, and giving her treats that I know she's well loved and would never be forced into a situation that is an actual threat. It makes me so happy to see these dogs so loved and well treated!
Love how the unicorn one had a light in the collar for if youre taking your dog trick or treating. Built in safety is 10/10

yeah at this point i think cancel culture is more ab morally superiority than calling out actual problematic people/ behaviors. that being said, jenna did say she felt pressure to be perfect from all the people who called her things like "an unproblematic queen" and such. basically from being deified instead of recognized as an imperfect human. so i think that also took its toll (must be exhausting trying to live up to those unrealistic expectations). and tbh it did seem like she needed a break just in general. ofc i miss her too, but as long as shes happy, so am i.

I miss this family so much. One of our dogs passed away last weekend. I've been watching all Jenna's videos that have the dogs in them. It has brought me so much comfort during this tough time.
