    I was at this race! Right at 33:47 you can see a fireball, we were directly in front of that fireball, scared the hell out of 15 year old me.
    We knew Michael was hurt that was a hard hit, good memories! Thanks so much for posting this

    Some history: 1 week later, a no-name racer who cut hs teeth racing sprint cars & midgets, from Indiana, Jeff Gordon, won the pole position and subsequently, the Coca-Cola 600. I’m sure that the following week would not lead to any sort of historic levels of success but just a little tidbit.

    I feel the 1990's was the last of Nascar being a great sport. In 2000 it would start going downhill, and 2001 was the final nail in the box,

    The other announcer that is not mike joy is very annoying with the constant stating of the obvious. Sounds mentally challenged.
