Movie is 1:17 minutes long followed by black screen. And it's a good one! Highly recommended! Yvonne De Carlo is such a beauty!
Evonne DeCarlo has such a distinctive voice, forever Lilly Munster, like the voice of George Jetson, no matter what else they are in.

De Carlo was as magnificent a beauty as Hollyrood ever created.
Well, you have Grace Kelly, Kim Novak, Marilyn Monroe, Audry Hepburn , Lana Turner, etc.
Delightful colourful movie. Greatly entertaining movie, beats the movies today with all the bad language, sex, violence. Yvonne is absolutely stunning and just love the beautiful dresses. My kind of movie.
One of the better Pyrate movies, Yvonne is a stunning doll and the color is superb!!
Yvonne De Carlo I never known until I made the connect of her being Lillian from The Monsters. She's now one of my favorite actresses of all time and dang how TALENT

Norman Lloyd who played pardou was a doctor on Saint Elsewhere!!
Dr. Auschlander and St. Elsewhere was set in Boston.

Yvonne was encouraged to pursue a singing career by Nelson Riddle and even cut a pop/blues album in 1957 (when then 8 months pregnant). She sang on quite a few of her films.
I had not seen this one before but I enjoyed it very much, thank you. Bravo to the wardrobe dept, a few of the dresses were knockout. A witty, feisty, clever and overall captivating performance from Y D C truly deserving of a lead role. Favourite scene: catfight following interruption of the second song.

Excellent movie 🎥🍿,!!!! Yvonne DeCarlo eas REALLY a good singer n dancer, I had seen her in many other movies but did NOT know that,, The first mate was funny as well, n the battle scenes were epic!!! Loved the color too, the one pic still ot the ship with the rust colored sails against the backdrop of the Clouds n pinkish rust color of the sky at sunset fading into the horizon of the sea was exquisite!!! It should be a photo for sale to put up on walls n calendars n T-shirts!!! Great posting, thank you ever so!! Will watch it again,, even the ending was upbeat!!!

✨ This was written with a gateway for a Part 2, and it would have made for great story, a natural draw.
✨ I so enjoy the staged depictions of New Orleans in the movies of the 1940's - 60's. There's a movie with Dale Robertson and Debra Pagent, "Gambler in Natchez", from the era, set in New Orleans that's really excellent.

Yvonne makes this movie, she is the center of every scene.
This really needs a stronger male lead. It's always great to see Elsa Lanchester in anything and the Technicolour is fantastic.
I still can't watch anything with Evonne DeCarlo in it without expecting Herman and Grandpa's voices answering.

Thought I’d seen them all, but this one tops even the best of the rest. Don’t know where it’s been hiding, but I’m sure glad I got to see it before I go the way of all flesh. ❤
The color alone is reason enough to watch it. And then there's Yvonne and Elsa.
I had an 8x10 of her in this, she was radiant. The Technicolor just pops in this print. Wow, cannon firing drill is spot on.
This is a good movie but I thought at first it was a different one that I had seen when I was a child. I've been looking for it.
