Great tips I knew you would show the rake. :)
I subscribed to your interesting page on instagram. I wish you good luck and new ideas
These are great campsite innovations!! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video and very helpful tips. I especially liked the log mover for the fire. Always needed something like that one. And also I gotta ask. Is that t shirt supposed to be from the alien movies. I remember that weyland Corp symbol from somewhere and that was the first thing that came to mind. 😂. And I just had to find out hopefully. 😂
He is very good but let’s not forget Fowler that man spent 87 days really bushcrafting.
Corp the #1 bushcrafter on RUclips
Yep.
You're God-damn right
Well my preference too, however hat's off to Dave Canterbury Andrew with Ranger Survival, and Coal Cracker
Jussst like that 👍😎
Having camped a majority of my life I’m a little shocked I haven’t seen some of this before. Excellent content sir!
Mid-week videos are very informative. Keep it up Corporal!!!
Really like how you show the same set of knots throughout these mid-week videos. Repetition is the mother of mastering a craft. Another outstanding video Shawn.
I'm glad to hear you say camping instead of survival. I use 90 % of what I learn on your channel to have fun in the woods and enjoy camp life. If one day I need the knowledge for survival, I will apply the wisdom I acquired here and use it to save my hide. Until then, it's camping.
Simple, useful items, easy to practice. Therefore easy to remember when you need them. Thanks again.
Fire tongs, so simple it’s stupid. Every day is a school day even when you are retired. 😊
To get to live like this is such a blessing. As I have a crap job and dream of days like this. Now this is freedom!
Your observation that camping is what most people do, and that small projects are fun and useful, ison target, please offer more videos like this. But no matter what you do, I enjoy watching!
Cpl, hands down, I love the one knot that rules them all for the camp hangar. These mid week videos are crazy fun. I love watching coal cracker too, but definitely your camp hangar is the way to go. Your frog gigs are epic. Lately your breakfast chow is depressing. I really love camp cooking and I love simple camp meals. Spam and egg breakfast sandwich with green onions and Tabasco. Ez pz. We can make it fancy with Hawaiian bread rolls. Cooking in the woods is not at all like cooking in a kitchen. Bacon fat popcorn. genius. Not only do you teach us bushcraft and survival you teach us cooking in the woods. For people like me only cook in the woods once a year for family camping trips. I would love to see a no mess kit cooking. Cpl, throw some avocado in a bacon cheese burger. Some reason avocado makes people happy.
I really like your mid-week videos, Shawn, with all these lovely "simple-stupid" tricks, that all kids in elementary school should learn. Reminds me of my years as a scout in the early 60's and later on, as a scout leader in mid 70's for kids in their teen ages. Your mid-week videos are a nice complement to the Sunday ones. Keep it going!
I just love the hanger. So useful and simple. Definetly a "I could have had a V-8" moment
Mr. Kelly, I have so much to thank you for. The few things I've learned by watching your videos helped me with camping, moving, I was able to help people with broken motorcycles and broker cars on the road, and now camping is so much more enjoyable, because I know what I'm doing. I'm subscribed to your channel and it's a shame that so many people don't care for what you are teaching here.
Grretings from Brazil, and as our soldiers use to say to compliment one another: "Selva!"
Always good to see our past times, old world scouting techniques re-used in todays information. thank you.
The Rake. Has become one of my favorite camp tools once seen in an old Corporal video.
When I go camping with the family I have used what I learn from you! They are always impressed! Thanks for making me look good!!! Appreciate all you do Corporal !!!
This man is the legend that they say that's the stuff that legends are made of !!!!! Outstanding AF Shawn!
Short and sweet, nice little hacks that simplify camp chores. Thanks, Shawn!
I really enjoy these mid-week videos. Very helpful and yet simple. Outstanding AF!!
CPL- These mid week videos really do have good content. Simple stuff like this is great for the beginners but also reminders for those of us old bushcraft types. Thanks for the videos-
I’m lovin’ these midweek videos more and more each week. Thank you for going into such detail about the stuff we see you do every Sunday. Keep ‘em coming my friend.
Love the rakes. I use them all the time. It really catches the neighbors attention.😆
Keeping it real.
I do a lot of camping, but Amazon takes care of most of my bushcraft.
Love your mid week videos as much as the Sunday ones. Thanks!
I love the midweek video’s please keep them coming
👍🏼👍🏼🇨🇦🇨🇦👍🏼👍🏼
Heck yeah, keep ‘em coming Cpl Kelly! Much appreciated.
Well you showed me two things that I never had thought about. The Notches to raise or lower the pot and the double use of the rake of which I have used the rake many many times since I saw it the first time you used one so you see you can teach an old dog new tricks thanks Shawn. PS I've been doing this for a long time but I'm still learning and that's why I like watching you
Knowing and learning them is a extra tool in your toolbox.Great Video.
Your bushcraft rake has always been a favourite of mine and is close to my heart, Mr. K. 😉👍🏼
Simplicity at it's finest 👍, so looking forward to your Sunday video 😁🤙🤙🤙
Excellent demonstrations ... you make any "survival guide illustrations" come to life ... hope to see more...👍
I so can't wait to get to the Mountains of Northern Alabama to try these ideas.
Good stuff.
that pot holder is the way I've been cooking my hot dogs and sausages for years.. for a quick bushwack I'll take pruners and a small rip saw over a hatchet at any day..
I love all these re-education camp videos
Bushcraft and tools mid-week, building on Sunday...🤔...love the strategy! Corporal AF!
I'm glad I don't have to wait until Sunday anymore!
Outstanding! Simple, useful quick! Many times, it's the small things, that make a big difference! Thank you! Stay safe, and be well!
Thanks for these easy to make, yet practical tools an old gal like me can make and use....I love it!
Your killing this mid-week game!
Old New England guys (I am one) will say that this is a "crafty fellow." Great video, thank you for posting.
Shawn, you have a wonderful style of teaching. I’ old and disabled now so can’t get out camping or out in nature but I always enjoy your videos!
That is what I call it camping just having a good time out with the family
This show has me thinking outside the box all the time now, at work in trades and in the bush.
Skills videos are excellent. I'm slowly teaching this stuff to my family... first we can watch the video, then go do a practice in the woods. Thanks for the good stuff.
Loved the fire tongs idea. Very simple, but not one I've seen before.
Midweek Funday.. you gotta have the right bark!! Keep up the awesome work Shawn!!
I like that you’re going back to basics in some of your videos, i hope that gets you some new subscribers.
Cool to see that someone still has interest in the alien series
Only stupid people don´t
Another knots video please. Your most freakwently used simple knots
Sorry forgot to mention how you really do an awesome job with these video and have learned a lot and thank you.
Man what a week. First, the return if Bacon. Then, the return of the Corporal Rake. Nice. As always, thank you for all you do
have a great fourth and thanks
"Outstanding" a clean camp is a happy camp
Great video! I used an old video of yours 3 hours ago making the castable fishing rod that's about 10" long. We got it to reach out around 20 feet. I made a second one that was on a walking stick and we were getting closer to 30 feet with it. They worked great and we took 5 kids fishing on $20.00! Awesome work sir and keep up the great work.
So glad to see the return of the bush craft rake. I've missed that guy
Got my midweek notification.....Really enjoying the mid week tip videos....
Very simple yet very useful!
Outstanding! I say it every time, I always learn something on your channel. Whether it's mid-week videos or the Sunday spectacular. Stay safe bro.🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲
I like these short videos. Good information.
To be fair corporal you're shorter videos are better than most of you tube long ones. Well done sir. Eoin Ireland
Your a very smart man with experience. Thank you for teaching those who are awake and know what could happen in this country now.
Great video. Always good to step out into the woods and make oneself at home. God bless you and your family.
Great video! Simple camp tool's everyone should be able to make. Florida, USA
I’m loving your mid week videos with the tips for camping and bushcraft! Thank you!
I am not a content creator but these guys and gals put many hours in to editing, and coming up with ideas and producing.
My point is (one hour into uploading) 4.4k views and 1.6k thumbs up, that means 2.8k viewers can click on everything on a web page but the right thing. So basically 2.8k individuals came and got some knowledge that they did not have and ran with it. So you got personal issues on the creators position, voice or word usage; I say take what you only need and leave the rest. 👍🏿👍🏾👍🏽👍🏼👍🏻
Man you never stop to amaze me!!! One more video, small but so so much info in it. Thank you Shawn for sharing your knowledge with us. Valuable lessons for eternity 🤝🤝🤝👏👏👏💪💪💪
damn that was cool. I don't go camping much but I'm gonna go over to my neighbors yard and try this stuff out
So here we are half way through the week and corporal is dropping more useful content thanks for the dedication as always outstanding work/skills...
We want more skill vids like this one ! Like this comment now for Shawn to see !
tell RUclips so the view are not the worst in 7 years
@recall5811
I will. Keep strong my man 💪
Always good to see new tricks for us old guys. These could have saved me hundreds of dollars on the wrought iron stuff I've bought over the last 23 years. Now, all I have to do is find trees with limbs like that. Always a challenge out here.
These are perfect for a mid week video. I knew of most of these but just refreshing my memory is always worth the 10 minutes. Thanks!
Great midweek. Some cool tricks here. Always loved the rake. Gonna be out this week some time, gonna try these. Thanks for posting
This is 100% what I am here for. Love this 🎉
This is one of my favorite videos in a while! Love it! K.I.S.S 💯
My favorite is the rake. Simple, but something I had not thought of until I saw Corporal do it.
You never disappoint.
These are so well done. Easy to watch, none of the "huh?" that happens in so many other videos.
Groove in the bark to keep the hanging peg in place, never would have thought of that.
Oh my god you are using green wood. The tree huggers are going to come unglued. Please more of this.
Another good video, brother. So simple it's mind boggling. 😊. Have a blessed day.
Love all the short videos. With these ideas why would you not want to go camp and use the knowledge you teach us. Keep them coming
So simple, but not in many people's tool boxes. Maybe you spent some time in the woods and learned from others? Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom.
This look simple enough I could do them. I really like the one with the kettle hanging over the fire, and the two sticks to lift the canteen thing out by it's neck.
Recently, we had a boil water order in Washington state. I always have a mini sawyer in my kit because of you, cpl. The mini sawyer can filter soy sauce out of water. It's a trusty peice of kit.
Down and dirty, love it, bravo.
Notified, viewed and liked.
Loving these mid-week tips and tricks videos. This and solo overnighters are the reasons I subscribed to C.C.
Been camping for 5 decades and have never thought to make a rake. Thanks.
Thank you for your hard work and training.when I see you in my feed I think cool he is still here ,like an old friend.
Hump Day with Corp, Outstanding AF 🇺🇸💪🇺🇸💯
Saw this come through on my laptop. Had to take a break to get a CC fix. nice easy camping tips. I taught some of these to a few nephews recently. they went home from vacation to share wit their dad. priceless skills. thank you for doing them.
Down and dirty Corp. That's what I'm talkin about. Thank you. Cheers 🍻
I love using the rake when I go on my buddy’s property in fall. I’m more of a cold weather camper/crafter😎
Outstanding, the simplest of hacks that most people never think of 👍
Thanks for the mid-week upload, once a week just isnt enough of you. These projects are awesome AF!
Thanks again for bringing back the midweek video so much great information
Most people are not that smart I love all the things you do
Best corner on youtube is Corporals Corner. 😀
A very good set of projects for campsite. I've use the "bushcraft rake" ever since I saw it in your videos years ago. Thanks again!
It seems as if the trees are there for you, you always seem to find exactly what your looking for, the woods are your store, thanks for the tips, I'll be using them all this weekend camping trip
