How to replace the belt on your electric skateboard
dude. i was so confused why the gear was STUCK to the wheel. would never have tried to force it off!! thank you!!!
Amazing vid, the meepo video does not give you a why on what you do and I got very confused. You cleared up a bunch thank you
Glad it helped!
very well explained and usefull thanks 😀
Hey, great job the video! One question tho not about the belts hope you don’t mind, how many miles you got on them wheels? About to buy a voyager and I hear great thing about them wheels. I have two meepo board right now the shuffle v4 er.
at the time i probably had... 100? these wheels burn fast though, i think they'll only last like 200-300 miles before they're bald
Your video was super helpful thank you! 😄
👀👀
Is that rust... yikes. Good idea to wipe/clean the board often, rust is not good at all.
just dirt
i love the video but for the love of god clean your board it looks like ya took it mudding
hahhahha
Those wheels are only good for about 300 to 400 miles, then they will vibrate beyond rideable, plus you lose a lot of range using the bigger wheel. Not worth it if you ask me.
I don't understand mine won't get no tighter it's at the end as far as it will go and it's still loose
could be the belt is the wrong size, or maybe you're using a gear (pulley) you're using is too small
only 1 bearing? no bearing on the wheel side of the pulley?
i'd have to see a picture, i thought there were 2?
@@sam.alexander.reviews 4:06 it looks like theres only one. but thanks for the video, really helped !
where did you buy the belts?
these are the ones i buy, they're cheap and they've actually lasted longer for me than branded skateboard belts (i also buy a few extra so i always have 1 on hand just in case one breaks)

Does they work with the cyclone 105 wheels?
Blew my first belt at the 100km mark🫠 this going to be an expensive hobby lol
You probably has it too tight if it broke that quick
Nice job! Good info!
thanks mom and dad :)
Thanks!
the first and only comment 🥲
i did not know my Tesla bro also have the same hobby as me
Hey, which pulley did you use with these 32T or 36T?
hmm its the one that came with the board.. just double checked, 32T
@@sam.alexander.reviews Okay, same here. Thank you! I know the 32T allows for a faster top speed and the included 36T is more torque. But wasn't sure which one people use the 110's. 32 has plenty of torque still. This video was helpful when I first worked on my voyager! Really appreciate it! Curious since you've had your board for a while, how is it holding up?
whats the allen key to remove the guard
hmm. i'm not sure what size, i have a bunch of them
What is lock tight? Can I skip that step?
its a kind of glue that helps the screws stay in when they're being vibrated via the ground/motors
you can skip it but i wouldn't recommend it, the screws could wiggle themselves out over time
If you do skip the loctite make sure you regularly go back and check that all the screws are still tightly screwed in
Sub for the tatt.
