I honestly think the Voyager is my favourite board that I’ve never ridden! I’d love to try it in Dublin with the 90s and the 110s. I totally get what you’re saying about the 110s being more for rough surfaces. I thought my Shuffle S could do some “off roading” until I tried and boy did I quickly realise it wasn’t built for that! 😂 Great video Drew! I’m really enjoying the reviews!
Thanks so much for the kind words Ronan! The voyager is a beast of a board almost to powerful for its class! The 110 wheels are amazing for poor road conditions!
The Voyager with cyclone wheels is awesome! I can’t wait for my new belts. Already snapped a belt off roading. Overall great board. I love mine. Tbh with the 90 mm the ride really isn’t that bad. The deck does a great job of absorbing bumps.
Going to Get a Meepo Mini 2s ER looking on the most comfortable wheel package for a steep hilly ride to work oh and I am in NY looking at the cloud wheeel kit for my meepo mini 2s er when I do pull the trigger on it
Bro if your not having fun than what are you doing!! Check out the full video of the group ride I hosted as well more of some fun costumes! Also if you haven’t subscribed yet please do so!
Another reviewer; Kami Juins, stated that carving and steering became dull with these wheels compered to normal street wheels since they are very soft. Is the board as fun with these on smooth surface?
They are soft, and I would say if you’re looking for comfort than these are the “most comfortable “ wheels, I don’t think they will last the mileage and wear down very easily, but there are other wheels out there now cloud wheels rovers 110.
Great video, really enjoyed this one!! Are you still using the stock bushings & would love to see a further review now that you've ridden it for awhile! :)
I am still using the stock bushings but I have madwheels precision cup that I want to try out on these before I try new bushings! I could do a follow up review on the voyager as well!
@@DrewElia I was just debating (in my head) how practical the hurricane would be. I am at best a 10% offroad / 90% street rider. The Voyager seems to be a 30/70 split board, which is plenty for what I do. In addition a nanbot AT scooter is in my future. It can handle any of my offroad hyjinx. Thanks for the review, It was right on time :)
The voyager is a range beast, and it is perfect for street use the power and flexy deck is fantastic. These 110 cyclone wheels could be used for “off road” but it’s just ideal. They are super soft and have very good grip. But it can do the trick for those dirt trails in between street riding.
Thanks for the review! Been using cloud wheels over PU wheels because my town is very poorly paved but I don't prefer the vibration and efficiency of cloud wheels hoping cyclones might be a good alternative! Also sweet Voyager I almost picked up one for $500 but ao late! T.T
These are definitely the softest wheels out there! The 110 size is good for clearance and it doesn’t eat up TOO much range! Thanks for stopping by make sure to like the video and subscribe if you haven’t! Tons more videos coming out!!
I mean. That’s kinda apples to oranges, with AT your a 5-7” wheel these are 110mm so it’s definitely smaller, but as far as rocks and cracks I couldn’t care less on these wheels. But that’s for really any wheel above 105
@@DrewElia Thank you... think I will have to buy both (voyager, hurricane) and see which is better. That way i have a daily choice AND I can feed my board addiction :)
Hey man great video quick question? I got the voyager recently and it came with the 105 cyclone wheels that a supposedly the mad wheels. I ended up buy these 110 cyclones after market but I’m considering returning if the wheels that came with it are superior. Do you recommend one over the other? Thanks
I recommend the mad 105. You’ll have better grip and even more range. The 110 are great but the soft rubber wears away over tile the mad wheels have a longer life
⚡🤙🏼 *Best way to open a video, some dope carvin!* I don't even care if you fell, was still 🔥⚡ I remember seein early reviews where people didn't like them but from the 2nd gen onwards I've heard good things. I would still pick Mad 105s, Otang Dad Bod 105s (especially once the baby blues come out)
I measured the diameter of these wheels with a digital caliper (when they were brand new). They are actually 106mm in diameter, not 110mm. Don't get me wrong. I love these wheels, they are very comfortable and very quiet, but they aren't as big as avertised. That does throw off range calculations if you use the chart Meepo provides. I set mine to "97" on the remote for wheel speed setting using the 32T pulleys and 245mm-5M belts and not the charted "88" wheel speed setting. This gives me an odometer reading that almost totally matches Google maps measuring of a given distance give or take a 100 feet or so.
Yes, there are a lot of wheels that don’t even the contact patch doesn’t measure what actually touches the ground. It’s and overall measurement that is given. I haven’t measured with a digital caliper per say but if it falls in the realm of 108-110 it would be close enough. I know of other wheels that the contact patch that touches that ground is also off a little as well. Thanks for your information and input though! I hope you enjoy the wheels as they are a really good soft wheel!
@@DrewElia Actually (😉) 106.5mm was the max diameter measured from the middle of the thread to be clear, not the outer or inner edges; those are like 102mm.
Great video, as always!! Do you think it is grippier than Mad Wheels or Cloud Wheels? I am considering getting a new set of wheels for my Atlas Pro 2WD. (I am currently running 105mm Clouds but just need a bit more grip).
You are the only RUclipsr to do a review of the updated 110s! The old ones were 73a. How much better are these than the mad wheels 105s in impact absorption alone? And have you ridden onsra 115s? If so how r they to those? I’m considering upgrading from the boosted 105s on my Tynee stinger to one of those two rubber wheels(cyclones tpu). Because my roads are shit in the city and what not, I don’t use the 28 mile range. I go 15miles at most sometimes. With a flex deck the boosted 105s would be perfectly fine in this shit but not on the stiffy, rubbers I needy.
these are softer than mad wheels but they also wear down way quicker as well! so that something to consider. I have ridden the Indra 115 and the tarmax 100 those are both harder than this wheel as well. the boosted 105 you have on your stinger are like the mad 105 v1 formula. the other one I would through in as well is the cloud wheel FE, the are softer than mad but firmer and better wear than the cyclonee.
@@DrewElia is there a noticeable difference between the mad v1 and v2 formula? Bout to say fk it and get the FE 120s. Didn’t want to go up 17mm from my 103mm(actual mm) boosted clone Tynee wheel. But I heard the FE 120s are incredible .
@MichaelWagner-z4k as far v1-v2 the grip is wider and the extra “suspended” hole adds to softer ride feel. The FE has that soft core foam that gives way to impacts and chunking.
@@DrewElia yea I’ve done a stupid amount of research. Just trying to see how much better the wheel is because of that update. The grip for sures gonna be noticeable. The wider contact patch is going to counteract the extra suspension hole though on impacts, because there’s more contact patch hitting the bump, thus more energy being transferred. That’s why at wheels are usually rounded. I think the main reason they put the hole in was to rid the vibration it made at low speeds that tickled your feet in thin soles shoes like chuck Taylor’s. I’m starting a RUclips channel. I’m going to kick it off with some (hopefully) quality reviews on my boards that I have(about to have a third) and the wheels that I have, and then I’m going to make the rest of the channel my downhill skateboard progression from a beginner onward because I’m getting into the downhill scene, eskate got me into it oddly enough. They’ll have to be solid if I want to have any more products to review! I feel like there’s room for more RUclipsrs in the eskate scene, it’s something I’m passionate about and think would be cool to do. Wish me luck.
They are heavier than the standard 90mm but not horrible, you’ll see a bit of range reduced from the bigger size and heavier from the 90mm but not by much in the voyager!

I haven’t ridden it long term enough but because of the nature of this wheel’s softness and rubber material vs a urethane street wheel I would expect more wear and tear like a car tire vs a skate wheel
