Great video Sam, it is one of the most stunning places we camped, probably 6 years ago now, it was 1st of October and a tad chilli in the morning after a very windy night, with my tent being blown flat, but we had the same clear skies and stunning sun set and cooked steaks for tea.

Ahhh don’t tell the whole world about my favourite spot 😂 Up there this weekend, Sometimes we camp in the Forest below, Your not really allowed but Rangers surprised us one evening & was so impressed with our lite camp & cleaning up they let us stay. I know what you mean about leaving the Cars overnight 😣 I empty everything & leave the glove box open ect . Check out that reservoir walk at Night… really scary mate. Seen Several Orbs floating about 😳 Happy wild camping 👍🙂

Great video, one of my favourite spots. Interestingly, that rocky outcrop in the wood by the reservoir is a part of 'Burra tor' - it goes a fair bit further down the wood.
Somebody's got the Dartmoor bug. Believe it or not that's pretty much the exact spot Sharon and I camped when we did Sheeps Tor, except we had 50+ mile an hour winds in the night. The views though... The pointy one is Sharpitor & Leather Tor, I don't think Sharon will ever forgive me for going straight up the front over all those rocks. Unfortunately it's not on the camping map, but the views are spectacular.
