Lian Li did it AGAIN! | Lancool 216 Gaming PC Build | ASUS ROG X670E Crosshair Hero | Ryzen 9 7900X

Lian-Li have been long known for their Lancool 215 series being a solid, well respected chassis among PC building enthusiasts and gamers alike. The Lancool 216 takes that chassis, switches a few things around and gives us a solid upgrade! Some features feel close to the Lancool III, such as the perforated mesh PSU shroud which can pull in air to further cool your GPU. The main difference being that they don't open out in the same way at the Lancool III, and that's perfectly fine with me.
For this build Lian Li sent me the RGB version of this chassis, I'm partial to some RGB and feel that it's well executed. It goes without say that having those huge 160mm front fans glow up certainly grabs your attention!
throughout the rest of the build I utilised DeepCool's FK120 fans which have been excellent performers, running silently and moving plenty of air around the chassis.

Honestly the only thing you're missing is testing the build after assembly, game play etc. A lot of us probably don't know how well a 6750xt and a 7900xt play and at what certain resolutions and stuff. The airflow demonstration is actually something that I never knew I needed, I've never built a pc in my life, but I never knew which side of the fan was intake or not. That is extremely helpful, I subbed a while ago when I first saw a 7950x build about a week ago and this build looks amazing as well.

Thanks so much Donald, I really appreciate it 😁 I have considered benchmarks and all of the above, however… contrary to what people think, this channel is totally sustained by myself. I film and produce everything on my own which takes around a week to make each video along side the professional photoshoots I do for brands too. With that said, if/when the channel grows big enough, I’d have somebody else work with me to create all of the benchmark details for the videos etc ☺️

Beautiful build and Video. I just finished my 216 White build last weekend. Mr. Matt mounted what appears to be 120mm fans to the lower vents. I removed the Vents entirely and replaced them with 140mm fans that perfectly cover the space. Another nice feature is when you use a smaller AOI like my 280mm AOI. The case comes with a plate to fill in the empty space, helping increase positive pressure inside. I moved to 140mm fans and larger when I can for noise reasons, nerve damage int he Corps, the decibels of fans are loud to me. I originally purchased a Corsair 4000, that last 2 months before switch to the 216. This case is awesome. One more thing @ 4:16 you can see they molded the carriage around the front fans to really help direct incoming fresh air.

@@crawfordbaines4613 that’s a very solid, capable lineup of hardware indeed! All AIO’s are pretty much on par with each other these days, the main differences really do come down to aesthetics. My personal favourites are without a doubt the NZXT Z Kraken line… I actually really like NZXT CAM and the fact the screens on the coolers are really intuitive to use and the infographics for temps can be helpful. With that said, if you have no desire for a screen, then something like this Deepcool LT720 would certainly be a sweet option for unique design with beautiful yet subtle lighting effects 🙌

This gave me the push I needed to pull the trigger on the Lancool 216... And umm, the LT720 as well (after some research). I think I will put some Lian Li uni fan v2's in place of the fans that come with the unit and see how that goes.
