AND I HAVE A QUESTION , why you have to hide the eggs , i mean the enemies cant see the eggs either.
@@neoberger4541 enemies can see and hear the eggs when you get close enough, they have a pink outline and a deep bassy "brrwmmmmmmm" when you are close.
My tip as a kj main:
Be logical. Boom.
Scared someone will come from a certain area? Alarm bot.
Scared to peak or want a sixth teammate? Turret.
Think they’ll come to a certain area? Nanoswarm.
You expect logic from me. I can‘t even cook dude chill down.

I now love icebox. I don't care that there are a lot of angles, I now love it because the jumps you can make on the map make me so much more confident.
Another tip that not many people manipulate, you can use your turret to bait people. If you know an operator is waiting for you to peak take your turret and place it in front of a corner so they can't keep watching that corner to snipe you

in some maps, there's small wooden boxes that you can put your alarm bot on top of, and they then go through them and can't be shot... the boxes are usually next to bigger boxes
Killjoy alarmbot trick: Just increase the Detail Quality to medium from low to see the range of the alarmbot.
Helped me a lot to carefully place the alarmbot.

Hi! Killjoy main Inmortal 3 here. I like your play style, one recomendation, (deppendig the map, at Bind for example i dont recommend this) you should use your alarm bot to get info from other parts of the map, like mid, or L, it will be helpful for your team and for you to get info as well.

If you put the alarm bot in the A sight in ascent where you did, people will shoot it every time. You'll know they're there, but they may likely back off a bit and hide behind the door so you don't know exactly where they are. If you put it aside the door however, you know they entered the room.

after watching the video I got my first ace. Thanks
In b site ascent, if I have a pistol and it's an eco round, I put my turret behind the boxes that are on the right as soon as you enter the site from CT, facing the catwalk that's entering site, and I also put an alarm boy on the catwalk/ lane.
If it's a rush, almost always, I end up killing at least two if not everyone entering the site. I also put my Nanos warms near the catwalk inside the but thingie so that the enemies either enter or don't enter, the ones that enter get isolated.
btw, the turret is only there to slow them down and usually gets destroyed within 5 seconds, however once i actually got a 4k with the turret in this placement lol.
In this strat, I hide behind the boxes on the site in the middle towards the turret, facing the CT side entrance because that's the only one that's not covered and i dont peek unless my turret is shooting and my alarm bot is triggered.
If I have an AR, I put the alarm bot on site itself so that if anyone's too close, I can just one shot them, and I trust myself enough to know that I can kill the ones on the catwalk.

A fun thing about hookah, you can put a nanoswarm in the cloth on tha wall at the attackers left with the opening, and the nanoswarm is completely invisible if done correctly

On ascent you can put your swarm in the switch area instead so it gets alley through the wall that way they can’t break it.
At 12:10 there’s a even better alert bot spot I found where if u put it on top of the green box’s near his bot it will go off and drop onto the people
I don’t like using all my utility on one site because they just rotate and the nanoswarms become useless
Then you don’t know how to be a KJ or a Sentinel lol

@@hannahp1527 There’s site A and B.
KJ is a good Sentinel to guard a whole site with her traps alone and 1 teammate with you in one site, while the other 3 prioritize site B. Thats the usual 2:3 ratio for the map, or 1:1:3 or 2:1:2 mid site defenders can rotate very easily anyways and mid site can be also be rotated by other teammates.
If you use your logic of “splitting” your utilities into site and A and B then the enemy will just easily rush whichever site is less defended by traps or players. The reason why KJ can play 1:4 solo site or 2:3 on site is by using all her utilities in one site. Why? So enemies are stalled while pushing a site, this also gives enough time for your team to rotate to your site while enemies deal with all of your traps. Splitting traps to both sites while playing 1:4 or 2:3 is a shit move since, enemies will just easily rush the KJ and enemies don’t have deal with many traps because the other traps are in the other site lol you kinda just made their job easier.
And there is no point of playing 1 Duelist in A while KJ and the other 3 are in B (1:4) what? Traps + 4 players in B? While A is only defended by 2 Nanoswarms and 1 player? rip A
And your traps don’t become “useless” since Alarmbot and Turret is portable and reusable. Nanoswarms aren’t useless too even if they just rotate, why? Because if you actually use your swarms in a smart way like placing it where the enemy will plant the spike then they are useful for giving you time to rotate as attackers, the enemy might even die while planting.
The thing about sentinels (and especially kj) is they are agents designed to prevent enemies from pushing sites and punishing them if they do so. Therefore, if you use all of your utility on a site that the enemies try to plant the spike in, you basically win the round. Another thing is what I usually do when I defend as kj is with her abilities she can literally hold an entire site by herself so I go setup a site and I tell my teammates to defend the other. So my point is: even if enemies end up rotating, you waste two nanoswarms and that’s sad but that’s just how kj works and that’s why I call kj a "coinflip" agent. @@wonjpg Alarmbot and Turret now being deactivated if she is more than 40m away from them - which is the size of an entire site.
This means Killjoy’s information gathering abilities will be incredibly limited to a smaller portion of the map. Her Turret and Alarmbot will no longer be able to guard against players if she isn’t near them
She's still good enough to hold one site by her own until your team rotates.
Attacking with her is kinda tedious, though because you have to go in last and then set up your traps which often results in games with less kills.

Thanks i always play kj but when come to attacks i have a few problem
Ooff I use way different spots as killjoy. My fav sites to play are Haven C and Bind B. I cover Haven C completely by putting an agressive turret to cover long and then an alarm bot and swarm grenade in garage to cover that. Sometimes I put a turret on window on site A. Then for Bind B I out an alarm bot at the door to window together with a swarm grenade. And then a turret on the box behind the tube on site to cover long and window too. Or, what I prefer to do if I have time, is to put a turret on A tower to cover bath and cubby a bit. :))

Nanos on site I’m not playing on, in default plant spots, then turret covering frontal push, alarm for rear flank on site in playing on.

pro tip: if u play verry agro u can put ur turret up the wodden plank on heven and and wit for it to shoot the players,so when it its the player mostly the player will try to shoot it out so at that time u can peek and kill him

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it make more sense to tuck your alarm bot around the wall of an opening where a player can't immediately shoot it should they run into it? I've only been playing Killjoy for a couple months, so I wouldn't doubt it if I'm incorrect about this.
I'm a viper main so the reason I wanna learn her is that her swarm and vipers smoke apparently works the same in terms of throwing

i am a dia 3 kj main as well but in my opinion u just miss the whole point of kj setup.
(everything is ofc my personal opinion)
the point of kj set up is that when enemies push the site, once they get in, they are being distracted by so many things (ur nades, alarm and turret) and once they are u can either peek them or either just damage them go back and play re take with ur team
with that once enemies are hit by the bot they are slowed down, which means you can play around with bot spots and try to fit it that the robot activate once enemies are near ur nades, so they deal more damage.

I would place your turrent on the boxes one of the sides of the ramp when you first come down from spawn. Place alarmbot near mid or kitchen or even the other site that your team ISNT taking. As a killjoy main, it’s best to use for watching flank. When your team plants, use nanoswarm or lockdown for post planting defense. Just make sure that it isn’t obvious placement or repeated because the other team will shoot it down quick. If you use zipline to get higher ground, you could also throw a nanoswarm farther and detonate it. If you try to go on tiktok, I found a lot of killjoy icebox strats.

@@sylus8319 what I meant was if we put the swam grenade's right after planting ppl break them...so to avoid this we come up with line-ups like sova so that we can activate them from a safe place.
on haven you can actually use the breifcase to hide the swarm perfectly

with my turret, on defense i like when my turret peaks for me. so on ascent A site i usually put it on the radianite boxes, with my alarmbot right next to the door.
