I think the main reason why is that we see a lot of the cool things Sasuke can do/what he is known for in the Naruro series: messing with peoples minds via illusions, electricity, the rennigan (I know that I’m misspelling it, just go with it), and even his black fire. But aside from sword play, teleportation, and . . . blue balls shot from his hand, we see very little of what Riku is capable of/known for in the Kingdom Hearts series. We don’t even see his iconic Dark Firaga. So, at least for me, this didn’t feel as entertaining as it could have not because a character (admittedly the one I favoured in this match up) lost, but rather because it felt like the animators were purposefully not showing off his moves the way they did Sasuke’s.

No hate, since it's more of a brawl then research based, but Riku should have won. You kinda made him just stand there and get hit for half of it, and had him use like 5% of his abilities. Just kinda felt like unfair favoritism, which sounds silly since its your animation, I know, but it lacked what makes your other animations amazing, fair fights.
I believe the lack of moves from Riku was probably the lack of actual animations, the Riku sprite looks off and I didnt even know a Riku sprite existed until now.
Let's just assume this was a level 1 crit Riku and call it a day

Not to mention Riku didn’t even use any spells, my exact thoughts were “why are they just making him sit there and take the hits with only a few sword swing in here and there?” I get this is supposed to be a non research based fight (as far as I have read from other comments) but if that were the case then how is Sasuke’s move set shown off so well? I am a KH fan as well as a Naruto fan but I can honestly say this was shown high favoritism towards Sasuke, plain and simple.

Not really. A character's canon power doesn't really determine the result of a OMM, regardless of the power difference.
I think it was actually a good idea for them to do it before KH3. KH fans like myself might actually go ballistic if an even more powered up KH3 Riku lost against Sasuke. At this point though, I can concede that Sasuke is disgustingly powaful and would likely beat Riku :(

Well I mean....this was the Sasuke who fought head-to-head against Sage of Six Paths (God mode) Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsususki. If you knew anything about Sasuke, you would know that he was barely even trying in this fight. Tbh, Riku shouldn't have broken through Susanoo ribcage.

I just realized Kingdom Hearts is basically Disney Naruto. Let me explain (spoilers up to the secret ending of KH3)
•Sora parallels Naruto and Riku parallels Sasuke, especially through their dialogue and how Riku submitted to the Darkness, kind of how Sasuke turned against the hidden leaf
•Kairi parallels Sakura, hence why they’re both useless
•They’re in trios
•Organization XIII looks like a discount Akatsuki, with the jackets and different weapons and all
• Sora is a master of talk no jutsu
•Nobody ever dies
• Xehanort parallels Madura
• Xigbar parallels black zetsu
• Master of Masters parallels Kaguya

I always felt KH was bleach mixed with dbz with naruto parallels since everyone fights with mostly swords, gets a keyblade and transformation (kh3 sora drive forms) and how suddenly sora and riku can suddenly "die" but only thanks to eachother, they come back just a strong (dbz was known for this kind of thing)
I may be Mali’s biggest fan. I’m probably older than most of you watching but aside from just seeing my favorite childhood characters go toe to toe I just love the animation and flow of these fights. If Mali ever gets involved in a movie I’m buying a ticket. Fantastic stuff

Even without research it's clear that Riku wasnt even shown doing what hes famous for Dark Firaga and the fact a keyblade can lock *anything* including those chakra points/moves of sasuke. Thats not even research anyone who can make a fight between the 2 knows that.
So this should of been a 10 sec fight. Riku locks Sasuke's chakra points then kills him.

ohyehbaby 3o5 I can see why tho. Riku can stop time, change gravity, slow down time, turn into a literal shadow, cure himself, command darkness, has "unbreakable" shields, and other abilities. He didn't do any of those things in this minute melee.
Time stop and gravity only work on minor heartless, not bosses. His attacks aren't nearly as powerful compared to Sasuke and his heaviest attack won't even dent a perfect susanno. He has no answer for genjutsu, chibaku tensei or amaterasu. Sasuke can predict all of his moves before he uses them himself. Just accept this was a mismatch
Dominic Thompson Mickey used stop on all of the xenahorts. Genjutsu works my disrupting chakra, roku doesn't have chakra. Riku could make a shield on himself and throw it off like naruto did with his kyuubi clock. I dont see riku doing anything against perfect susano, but he has a chance if sasuke doesnt do it.
And that's Mickey's version of stopra. Until I see Riku's version have that much of an effect, you can't use it in a fight against Sasuke. You fanboys are mainly using Sora's and Mickeys feats in a fight they aren't even in. Sasuke solo's the Kingdom Hearts Universe.
And look at you, using Naruto's feats in an attempt to validate Riku. Since you stated Genjutsu doesn't work in any other universe. Then Riku can't block amaterasu since he doesn't have tailed beast chakra. Since you know, it only exists in Naruto's world

Mickey could probably beat Joda, then. Yoda is just a little too powerful for the abilities Mickey's been shown to have. For example, he doesn't seem to be able to harm people he's frozen with Stopza.

But if he's on the same level as sora then in a real fight Sasuke would get Obliterated , unless sasuke has an ability that kills riku and riku has no counter
nope Keyblade weilders are busted they're essentially a mixture of a Jedi Master with wizard magic and reality warping Naruto doesn't stand a chance.
Now if this battle was researched, it would change the battle and ultimately create a heated debate between both sides, especially the Naruto side who some of the most annoying fans are as dumb as a majority of the DBZ community. So in a no biased fight I have taken my time to figure out who would win.
Speed: Both Sasuke and Riku have shown similar speeds. For travel speed they are definitely lightning timers if not greater, as Sasuke is faster than the Fourth Raikage Ay and Riku should be faster than Larxene when scaled to Sora. In terms of reaction speed they are both Faster Than Light, since Sasuke scales to Six Path Naruto who dodged a Light Speed Fang from close range, and Riku has deflected lasers when him and Sora were fighting Xemnas in KH2. But its possible that both are faster than this since Sasuke has gotten stronger and faster since his battle with Madara and Riku is be stronger and faster than KH1 Sora who shot a beam to the moon in 1 second, however its hard to say specifically how much faster they have both gotten since then so I'm just going to say that they're even in the speed department. (I might have some evidence proving Riku is leagues faster than Sasuke, however I am not to sure on that)
Winner: Draw
Power/Durability: Both characters have shown crazy power. Sasuke is comparable to Naruto who survived a hit that sliced the moon in half. But there might be a hint that Sasuke and Naruto are much stronger. Naruto powered up roughly 1000 ninjas during the 4th Great Ninja War when they were fighting Obito. If you remember from Naruto The Last, 100 ninjas where supposed to power a cannon that was capable of destroying the Moon. So Naruto alone could have powered up 10 of those Moon level cannons, putting Naruto at a Small Planet level and Sasuke should scale to this. Thats impressive but Riku should be way stronger than this. He can scale to World destroyers, but that wouldn't make Riku planet level. Worlds in Kingdom Hearts are represented as a Star. Thus putting Riku at a Star level. Meaning Riku should be 6.5 Million times more Powerful and Durable than Sasuke is.
Winner: Riku
Intellect/Expeirence: Riku has had training from Yen Sid and has fought many foes in his life. There is 1 problem. Most of his fights he did need help. Definitely not as much as Sora but not compared to Sasuke. Sasuke usually fights his opponents alone. Some examples of this is his fights against Kinshiki, Orochimaru, Gaara, and especially Itachi. Sure some of Sasuke's most impressive fights did have him having help like his fights with Madara, Momoshiki, and Kaguya, but the opponents that he fights when he is alone are way smarter and more unpredictable than the foes that Riku fights.
Winner: Sasuke
Abilities/Techniques: This one is definitely the hardest one to figure out since both have a variety of abilities. Sasuke has a plethora of abilities such Lightning Style attacks suck as Chidori and Kirin, Fire Style attack such as his Fire Ball Jutsu, His Sharingan which can copy an opponents movement and cast Genjutsu which can is essentially illusions, the Mangekyou Sharingan which can cast a black flame called Amaturastu that can burn other flames and gives him access to the Susano'o which is a Chakra avatar that is as big as the Tailed Beasts and can also be used to create a skeletal barrier around him, and his Rinnegan that gives him access to a Jutsu known as Planetary Devastation, which is created by pulling rocks or trees or whatever into a singular point that can create a meteor and gives him access to switch places with any objects or create portals to wherever he desires. Riku's also has a variety of abilities. He has Fire Magic such as Dark Firaga, Fire Windmill, and Mega Flare which can kill most enemies with a single hit. Ice Magic such as Blizzaga and Deep Freeze which can freeze most foes. Lightning Magic such as Thundaga or even an upgraded version called Thundaza, that can cover a larger distance than Thundaga. He has Wind Magic that can trap foes in a small gust of wind or can even be used to increase Riku's defense. He can manipulate time with moves such as Slow and Stopga. He can create barriers around himself and even teleport short distances. Can... summon Balloons with Ballonga which is definitely the most broken ability in the entire series. He can magnetize object, alter gravity, heal himself, confuse his opponent, fly, and a lot more that I'm forgetting. To decide who wins here, we need to see which moves can they counter. Riku has fought Zexion, who's main abilities are essentially Illusions so he can at least hold his own against Sasuke's Genjutsu and also Riku has a spell known as Esuna, which can cure a status effect on the user so Sasuke's Genjutsu isn't an option. Sasuke's Amaturastu has been deflected before by people like Naruto and Kaguya, so Riku's barriers should work as well. They can cancel each other out with fire, lightning abilities, and they're defensive options but Sasuke has never shown time manipulation or gravity resistance. And sure Riku would have trouble with the Susano'o but thats about it. Now some people are gonna ask, "Can't the Rinnegan absorb a person's power? Wouldn't it work on Riku?" The answer is No. The Rinnegan can only absorb energy based attacks and Riku's attacks are Magic based. So its unlikely that Sasuke can absorbed Riku's attacks.
Winner: Riku
Overall: So its pretty close, But Riku has the advantages in more ways than one. Also its worth noting that Riku's magic can be restored throughout the battle while Sasuke would have a limited amount of Chakra to maintain. Now this does not mean that Riku has infinite magic use, it means that Riku would have an easier time restoring his Magic than Sasuke is at restoring his Chakra.

I'm Sorry, but this fight just doesn't sit with me. I Believe that Riku would've won this fight and I'm going to break down all of steps on how Riku would've destroy Sasuke.
Riku's Speed: Riku is able to teleport, warp, and literally create a universal portals to travel to world to world at ease. He is shown to avoid and deflect multiple light speed laser beams at point blank position which is shown in KH2 and Flowmotion itself slows everything down as the user moves at light speed which is shown on one of the KH3 trailers.
Riku's Strength: Riku is able to single handedly cut an skyscraper once with his keyblade, making it immediately split into multiple pieces which is also shown in KH2.
Riku Magic: Riku is shown to have a lot of magic in his arsenal, including ones that sora use's such as Stop, Zero Gravity, Gravity, His Dark Abilities, and much more. Plus he is immune to the Darkness.
Now that I got that out of the way, let's move onto phase two.
{The Keyblade Traits}
Esuna: Esuna is able to. remove negative effects such as Paralysis, Sleep Paralysis, Poison, and much more.
Second Chance and Once More: The Keyblade is shown to revive the user from death itself which is shown on KH: CoM.
Durability and Protection side effects: Which allows the user to survive death dealing blows.
If I've missed something I do apologize. But that is all I have to say.

I guess I should mention this but sasuke's amaterasu is dodgeball and or able to be reacted to as seen with gaara and the raikage so reflect or just dodging would work secondly even if riku couldn't break the susanoo he could more than likely teleport inside of it to attack for sure as seen with gaara and his sand getting into madara's susanoo thirdly genjutsu affects the chakra in one's brain and since riku does not have it, it would not affect him just a few things to clear up and also I should mention that i'm pretty sure xemnas did not absorb all of kingdom hearts so the insane amounts of power that would make him solar system to galaxy level was not fully absorbed and even then it took both sora and riku to beat xemnas i'm at least relatively sure that he's no solar system or galaxy buster (yet) I think he's somewhere between the ranges of planet to star level while rinnegan sasuke is planet level so their at least in the same ball park to each other so I think riku would win purely because of reflexes as he was dodging a fuckton of lasers from xemnas at once with relative ease not to discredit sasuke but susanoo would be pretty useless and at most he could use the body and arms in combos like in storm 4 and riku can reflect amaterasu I should also add that if sasuke manages to hit riku with amaterasu that's gg because while curaga can heal burn that's regular fire like fireball jutsu type but amaterasu ain't no healing that unless riku does something drastic like cut off whatever it hit regardless he's taking that fat L i think i've made my points pretty clear riku high difs sasuke due to him being very skillful in using his amaterasu and body swapping manuvers (forgot to mention rinnegan hax) but riku is more powerful with magic that can counter sasuke's most offensive options their is absolutely no shitstomps to be taken in this fight imo and definitely not as we've seen riku so far maybe in the future that's all I gotta say feel free to correct me if I got something wrong I don't really care I just think some facts needed to be added

Roku has Dark Barrier and Sasuke has that teleport thing. Even though Riku is overpowered in most cases, I still feel like he would win because of his dark attacks and because he can heal himself in only a second.
King Leonidas well Sasuke has very high agility and maybe with one of his Sharingan abilities he would counter overpowered skills of Riku.

Riku is for real on sora lvl who outspeed a black hole and block attacks that can escape said black hole. Even if he was caught by ama he could dark roll or esuna. If use Meteor hey riku can Ethier A shrink it B stop it in time or C do the same thing.
