Hi Eli, I´d like to tell you, that you are for me, I hope I Won't be alone, really the best banjo teacher of all another around us, who has helped me with my better playing banjo and shift my improve in last months. Sorry, I have forgotten said, you are excellent banjo player too, with amazing capatibility to lead and explain learning banjo playing. Thank you very much for your job, where you have worked out many any many perfect video lessons for us. With regards from Czech Pavel Kanok
Hi from Wales. I've seen a few of your videos now and find them very absorbing to watch. I've been playing bluegrass banjo now for about thirty-five years, since I was at school, so for me a lot of it is very basic stuff, however your straight-to-the-point matter-of-fact style makes me want to watch more. I've only started watching youtube banjo videos quite recently, and a lot of people who make them leave me bored, and thinking "Get on with it!" Very refreshing to watch yours. Good stuff!
As a beginner banjo player ( 17 months ), all of the banjo related information found on the internet, seems just a tad bit overwhelming. I agree with John Ditty. Your videos are bringing it all together.
Been trying to learn this for about a month, only 2 measures in to the first one and I still can't grasp it. Very strange how I'm finding this so difficult. It's probably going to take about a year a year and a half for me to get the whole thing!
Another gem of a video. Quick question as i've noticed. Is there a reason you never seem to have a truss rod cover on your banjos? Do you have to keep adjusting it?
My biggest problem is muting the strings while making string notes. Working on relaxing the left hand. I want to play Christian music and tunes. I don't know the bluegrass music.
