Wrapping some bales to keep oxygen out and allow the high moisture bales to ferment, producing a preserved green feed for my cows. Bales will essentially become silage.

Our dry bales of grass are 1,275#.. finished up a red clover field 5 or 10 years ago, racing the rain. It was a bit damp!!! Should have been about 1,600-1,800#... LOL.. I could only handle one bale at a time, was heavier than two dry grass bales!! Stacked it outside and fed it out.. awesome feed!!! Especially the black parts in the middle 👍
