Guy i dueled wanted to share his channel with you guys, so here it is
/ thecalieffect
If you call it "regina assault goerge e. dragons" it would stand for "rage dragons" :P
*Opponent Night Beam's Assault Mode Activate
AznEyes: "FFFFUUUUUUU-"
dude you realize that when assault mode is on the ground you also have stardust dragon
ThisPersonShow And... so?
Maioneselover Effect of Stardust
Peeko Yeah, I just read again the effect of Night Beam. I thought it said "effects can't be activated in response", while it negates only the effect of the targeted card.
I literally came off this guys youtube channel to watch this random Azneyes battle and it was him dueling....
Stardust assault mode is hands down one of the most OP card ever. Relative difficult to get rid of and can wreck your field as a 3000 ATK beatstick.
the lack of pendulum zones in this video makes me happy... twas a better time
yes my soul is chillaxing :)
i miss the time where kagetoge was good :/
Wow...just realized that SD/AM is perfect against Spellbook quickplay decks.
Joseph Archer sd/am?
Mariella Romberger oh. stardust dragon assault mode
That Mermail player was really good!
He played mermails with skill, and he didn't have the chance to make abyss dweller so yeah.. gg
i still dont get the regina george part
Basically...
Regina George is a character in the movie Mean Girls.
He is wielding a "mean" deck, as in overpowered, strong, unfair, or cruel to use.
Instead of describing the deck as a "mean" deck, he substitutes the word mean for Regina George, and uses it as an adjective.
In summary:
Regina George = Mean
Mean = Assault E.Dragon Deck
A mean Deck or a mean Assault E. Dragon Deck = Regina George Assault E. Dragon Deck.
fair enough lol
Savok Grim Here in New Zealand we sometimes use the word mean in place of awesome.
TheDeceptikron Same in America.
Murrica
Thecalieffect lol. He's just like hey I do RUclips too!
this deck is so interesting to watch
please play more duels with this decks im pretty sure thats a good idea
azneyes calieffect rematch?!!!!
im subscribed to both these guys
Calieffect lol
Its a character from a movie called "Mean Girls". Basically the main antagonist and the meanest girl in the school.
Multiple effects.
Stardust can only negate one activation per turn, so just spam Blue-eyes summons. If you have a Blue-Eyes in grave, Silver's Cry, and a maiden, for instance, you're set.
Kaibaman and Silver's Cry also works if you have Blue-Eyes in hand.
If you get negated before then, and still have a Maiden and something to target it with, then you're doing even better. You can synchro into Azure-Eyes, bring back Blue-Eyes, wait, kill Stardust, then revive Blue-Eyes again.
Deck profile plz?
That's not what matters. The point is that you can easily summon more than one in a turn. Maiden can get negated, for example, but then you can just play Silver's Cry if you have a blue eyes in grave, which can be done with Trade-In, and can't be negated because it's a cost. (Although the effect that draws two cards can be negated.) You can also search for Blue-Eyes without getting negated using White Stone of Legend and Cards of Consonance, because again, discarding in that case is a cost.
1:58 "There's no point in setting two of these"
Boy, would I love to see a Night Beam next turn!
Holy crap, he was playing thecalieffect!
I played Exodia Dragon Rulers last format, Azneyes. Your move.
He played Cali effect way back in the day
I wouldnt mind a deck profile or deck download for this :) itd be fun to try out
Wow, 2500 att monster with an amazing effect on the first turn. Remember the days when you had to actually use Polymerization to fuse cards? Yugioh has been ruined.
>Ruined
The game was perfectly fine and balanced until Synchros came out, which even though was overpowered, kinda put a bunch of older cards in a new light, which I eventually grew to like.
Then XYZ made the game so dynamic that it's almost impossible to run a competitive deck without an extra deck these days.
So in a sense, you're right that the game has lost most of its original flavor, but I wouldn't say that it's completely ruined or anything like that.
If Konami doesn't come up with more shit (new game mechanics) and takes the time to actually develop new archetypes that fit within the game at its current state in an effort to balance it by eventually giving players a ton of archetypes in the future to viably choose from, then Yugioh can be restored to its former glory.
*****
Buddy, we aren't talking about Traditional format here, so don't go into "much more broken" older cards. Yes of course there were some, but what I was talking about was the Limited meta at the time Synchros first made their appearance.
"If your field and hand is empty and you draw Polymerization, you probably lost whilst if you draw Debris Dragon, you can make more of a comeback is what I'm trying to say."
That's exactly what I meant when I said overpowered.
In the ideal balanced game, there is more of a risk and/or cost associated with performing more beneficial actions within the game in order to gain a proportional amount of advantage. You can't just normal summon Blue-Eyes without tributes in the same way you'd normal summon Baby Dragon - that'd be broken, as then cards like Baby Dragon would never see play since they would be strictly inferior to a monster with higher stats that is subject to the exact same mechanics and functions.
Fusions were balanced because they provided a means of summoning a monster from another deck, where if you had the proper materials, it's as if that monster is a part of your hand the entire time. With the advantage of literally being able to call upon that monster no matter what was in your hand came the very specific restriction of what you could use to summon it and the conditions of the summon (Polymerization).
Ritual monsters were balanced because like Fusions they were able to be special summoned, however since you had the disadvantage of having to draw into one to be able to use it, the summon conditions are more lax, requiring not specific monsters, but only a total combined level count in addition to a summon condition (Ritual Spell).
Synchros were a cool idea because they combined both concepts: The specificity of Fusion monsters (only certain types of monsters can be combined, tuners and non-tuners) and the level requirement of Ritual Monsters (made to be the exact level in order to balance the ease of summon considering the hundreds of tuners and thousands of non-tuners).
However, although Synchros have a monster requirement, they do not have a second summon condition, such as a spell card that is necessary to summon them like Fusions or Ritual Monsters do. Furthermore, Synchros receive the benefit of having infinite accessibility by being located in the Extra Deck as opposed to the main deck, a privilege once only reserved to Fusion monsters since they were more difficult to summon.
Although there were already monsters that allow you to special summon them through monster only conditions, most of them through removing from play one or more monsters of a specific attribute or type from the graveyard (like Gigantes), these monsters were not as powerful in stats nor abilities as their Fusion, Ritual, or otherwise special summoned counterparts. Synchros on the other hand have all the strength of a special summoned Fusion or Ritual monster and have the the usual devastating abilities of a high-level regular effect monster.
With choosing between Fusion, Ritual, and other special summoned monsters, there were always advantages and disadvantages to one or the other that had to be weighed when considering putting them into a deck. Synchros outclass all three due to their more versatile and easily accessible summoning nature in addition to their stats and abilities, thus making them a no-brainer to include in every deck so long as you had a tuner monster or two lying around in your deck, or even the possibility of reviving your opponent's monster. Fusion monsters in an Extra Deck without Polymerization or like spells in the Main Deck are completely useless, however as long as you have even the prospect of having access to a tuner, there's literally no reason as to why you _shouldn't_ fill up your entire extra deck with 15 Synchros that you could potentially summon.
Synchro monsters were overpowered not only because they outclassed everything else, but also gave any deck a potential for a 15 card toolbox whether their deck was revolved around it or not. Never before in Yugioh have you been able to viably include cards that you may only use once every ten duels and not be penalized for doing so in any manner.
Synchro monsters were overpowered.
"Who wants to just sit there helpless with little chance of coming back?"
That's part of the goddamn game, and if a player gets in that situation due to luck or being outplayed, then they logically should have a (very) low chance of recovery and shouldn't cry or complain about it. It's not "being nice" or "helpful" to the players by making easier for them to recover by negating most of the flow of the duel up until that point, it instead ruins the challenge of the game by making luck of the draw an even more prominent factor.
If they could easily rebound in by the drop of a hat, then were they even disadvantaged in the first place? Cards like Monster Reborn and Dark Hole can easily shift the tides of a battle, and as such they were extremely limited to provide balance to the game, where a player shouldn't just be able to have 10/40 cards in their deck that can almost by themselves save that player from a losing situation. Doing so disrupts balance by defeating the purpose of card synergy, as logically a set of cards that work together when played (not just Debris happening to bring out Dandy, but a deliberate/necessary combination) should bring about more benefit that one card's ability on its own.
Synchro monsters eventually worked their way into a balanced meta, however regardless of whether or not they were properly balanced, they evolved Yugioh to shift to a much more powerful meta, largely increasing the overall average damage output per turn and of monsters as well as consequentially the speed and ease of winning the game.
MasterOfCards232 i didnt even read the first line of this comment
max rin
Wait, what?
W-why even tell me?!?!?
MasterOfCards232
So... your thoughts on XYZ and Pendulums?
where you here last format this is much better that e-dragons and spellbooks format
Idk why people ask for deck profiles, you see dragons + assault mode. I mean, just watching the first 5 minutes I can tell he runs 12 dragons, possibly 3 lvl 1 tuners, 2 tenkis, 2-3 stardust assault mode, 3 assault beasts, 3 assault mode activates, etc. That's 26 cards. Now you can add 14 cards you think are good to fill up the holes. But you got the core of the deck right there just from watching.
i would love to see a deck profile on this mean deck!
Can you do a deck profile of your fire king deck?
how in the world would you summon a blue eyes without effects
Stuff with E Drags and Mermail, two decks that never should've been playable again.
This is the deck I hope I will never have to deal with.
She is the main antagonist of the movie mean girls her character share similar plot points to that of Julius Caesar.
Its funny to see old videos :")
I downloaded the devpro. Thing on my computer then ran it when it dose the update after it installs it just tells me earror. Do you know why this would happen?
i run the tempest build instead of redox...solely cause tempest effect allows you to add a dragon to the hand so you basically have "2" ravines
I like how thecalieffect actually became big
But this is just as good as the "meta" decks, and much harder for most decks to deal with than regular eDrags
AznEyes why don't you add galaxy queen's light to get rank 10 xyz?
I remember 1 time I Super-Poly an Assault Mode Stardust, and another I used Tour Bus on Assault Mode when it was in the grave XD
If only you had a different way to force its effect while keeping both armory arm and abysspike on the field so you could make abyss dweller.
Have you seen Elemental Dragon Plants? They have already won at a YCS. They are going to be meta for a long time. You can splash the dragons into so many decks and make them very usable. Dragunities, Gadgets, Plants, Heiratic, Battlin' Boxers. All of these decks utilize an E Dragon. You can expect them to be around for a while xD
When you use sacred swords of banishing lights on tempest(in hand) can i search for the dragunity tuner level 1? or does it miss the timing?
I'm a noob to dev pro, how exactly did you close your thing after you pressed the activate button.
Can someone tell me the name of the music that is playing while he's dueling?
Someone once told me I had a nice deck but then I remembered that time Regina George complimented that girl on her deck
can u show us this deck profile?
In your first turn, you should have went for teni, discard assault beast to get an assult mode activate, and then banish the beast from grave to special summon redox, which would have been far less minus.
Last time I was faced against a stardust assault mode irl, I forced an assault mode negate, then summoned fossil dyna.
Can we see a deck profile please.
Stardust Dragon Assault mode loses to Gaia Plate the Earth Giant. His effect to halve the attack of the opponent's monster is continuous. His summon effect is inherit, and his maintenance cost cannot be negated by anything, as it is a maintenance cost. I used to troll Stardust Dragon Assault players with Gaia Plate in Rock Stun all day.
What Herald deck are you talking about?
If he had Angel of Zera then he would have been able to attack over Stardust Assault Mode with that 3100 atk all day, and you would have just lost.
In other words, it's probably a good idea to use Assault Mode Activate when there is a chance of them summoning a higher monster, i.e. Angel of Zera
Can this deck still work with limited Redox and the other dragons?
They are banned
Deck profile, please? FANTASTIC idea, azneyes. Really enjoyed this video.
faced so many of those ele dragon assault variant... as if ele drags are not enough of a problem and they had to add assault and icarus attack. thats why im running divine wrath,, imperial iron wall and mistake in side now
You should try make "Hero Assault" deck (E-Heros+Stardust/AM+some zombies) more viable for current format. Fun deck to play, but a bit outdated. I found it long ago in the depths of the Internet ;)
I was, and they're aren't as bad, but taking away the little dragons was like taking the training wheels off a bike.
What program is this? I'm interested in using it.
it's called dragon ruler assault mode... it was a thing before e.dragon decks was a thing
Anyone know the name of the song being used in the background?
I would put a Star Eater in that Deck in case you have assaultmode and a 1 star tuner and need that tiny bit of more atk.
You were so lucky he tried to blow your Stardust up, if he didn't, you wouldn't be able to stop the Armory and would have lost.
you need to make a meaner deck
Can you do a deck list
For Assault Beast, which gets you an Assault Mode Activate.
my buddy played his mermails against the inventor of this deck at san mateo. assault mode topped then got dq'd for cheating. so did adam corn and like 40 other people, but hey a good deck.
Is dev-pro good to use now?
how come my DevPro is Black and Orange? everyone's gray. Mine looks ugly can someone tell me why?
Can we see the deck list
I know the feeling when they night beam assault mode or ninjitsu art of transformation...
Seriously need a decklist here......
Assault mode? It doesn't even go here!
MST assault mode activate? what are you smoking azneyes...you clearly go for assault mode immediately in draw phase in case he plays something that gets over regular stardust. If he has night beam what do you do?
Which Herald deck?
What's the game you're playing
SpongeBob: What can be worse than a first-turn Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode!?
Patrick: I know! *Plays Assault Mode E-Dragons* TWO Stardust Dragon/Assault Modes!
You should post the deck profile
I downloaded devpro 2 times but i still cant open it, i think it is runnign but i dont see a screen or window. My task manager says that at elast. Can soemone help me?
deck list?
Assault Modes could be stupidly mean but i'm glad he's still bullied by D.D Crow, Fiend Comedian (more than one), Lava Golem and any easy cheap 3000+ beater (Barbaros ÛR in my case)
Now I know what to look out for.
the dragon rulers do not scare me, what scares me the following decks are going to beat the dragon ruler
Lucas you can't make a deck yourself?
Actually, even in 2013 there were a bunch of card that dealt with Stardust as it actually specifies "when a card(s) on the field is destroyed". People were just too stupid to use them, as destroy effects are "so" much more appealing.
I played against this deck, against my old one, it wasn't really threatening.
+XainArchives Stardust Assault is capable of negating ANYTHING, not just destruction. And he could have chained Assault Mode to anything that would remove Stardust.
zexionfan15
I never said stardust assault, and again, this deck is pretty beatable for a spam fest.
*****
Explain to me how Brionac or Dimensional Prison or Fiendish Chain are supposed to stop Stardust Dragon when you have Assault Mode Activate already set, please. The only one that really beats Stardust before it can go Assault Mode is Brionac, and only if you have Trap Stun set and waiting. If it's your first turn and you went second, you don't have that option. You're stuck going up against Stardust Assault, which is a VERY difficult card to deal with. You basically NEED a 3k beatstick of your own that can special summon without an effect, like BLS, and you have to crash into Stardust Assault, thus also losing BLS.
zexionfan15
You're talking monsters, and only monsters. You think everyone plays no brain spam fest? It's not a hard card to deal with at all really. There are several dozen methods to take care of it. Try looking for yourself, it's not that hard to find your answer.
And again, I never said assault mode.
It's not a difficult card to deal with, people just don't like playing smart. To name one type of thing? Anything in the game that removes things from the game as an archetype laughs at that card.
*****
Stardust itself, no, it's not hard to beat. What I'm trying to point out that this deck is based ENTIRELY around Assault Mode. That's why I keep bringing it up. Stardust Assault, WITH A SET ASSAULT MODE ACTIVATE, is extremely difficult to handle. If they would get rid of Stardust, chain Assault Mode Activate! and watch their plan fall apart. If they try to run over it, Assault Mode Activate! and it survives as a better monster that has a similar effect to Shooting Quasar Dragon. You handle Stardust Assault by not letting them summon it. Negate Assault Mode Activate! and you win, since Stardust is EXTREMELY easy to handle (Brionac, Dimensional Prison, Fiendish Chain, Compulsory... also, I love how you said that I was talking only monsters and yet I listed two of those three traps in the last comment...), and most decks run at least one 2600+ beater that can just run over Stardust.
Basically, if they can somehow manage to stop Stardust ASSAULT, they win. If they can't stop Assault Mode Activate from going off, they have to manage an OTK without one of their effects or crash into Stardust Assault with a 3k beater that doesn't need an external effect to summon (even Dark World would have a tricky time with that, since Stardust Assault can stop a discard). Now, if Stardust player goes second, and doesn't get two Assault Mode Activate! set, they have a hard time, since MST at end of turn or Trap Stun chained to Assault Mode destroy the strategy entirely.
Still, you're not giving the deck the mindset it deserves. Stardust by itself is weak, but Stardust WITH ASSAULT MODE set and ready to activate is a MUCH trickier setup. The deck is entirely based around "summon Stardust Assault as soon as is humanly possible and just negate everything".
Nah, I'd argue crimson blader was the better move. Say his opponent next turn actually figured out a way to get rid of assault mode stardust, then poof! His old stardust comes back, THEN he could chain his other set assault mode activate and JUST GET ANOTHER ONE to replace the destroyed one.
Is actually pretty easy to win a match against that deck, just activate rivalry of warlords/gozen match after the assualt mode dragon activates his effect, so that way it can't go back to field.
Food for Redox to eat. I see you are a very caring person for your pet dragons :)
Decklist?
Tenki is to search out assault beast
so as to discard it to search out assault mode
Just imagine this with the baby dragons...
Deck Profile ! :D
Or at least tell me the card list please.
Can you put up the profile???
what site is this???
This is the meanest deck I have ever seen
I'm not sure how the age of the deck has anything to do with what I said. It's still ironic that he uses it and it's still stupid to play the deck in singles where the opponent is unlikely to have any responses to the deck.
Shockmaster is auto-win?
how to negate royal decree?
Is that card even at three???... i just wonder
you should run skill drain stardust gets around skilldrain and works with the dragons, ive already tried this build and i liked the drains
deck list plz want to net deck u
Call them out for wrong order?
whats tenki for?
