Hey Slowsteading! I have been watching your channel for a while now and I first found you through your A-Frame chicken coop! If you are looking for another animal to add to the homestead you should consider Guinea Pigs! They are very good for breeding for some extra money and they fill you with joy with their squeaks to greet you or let you know theyre hungry! They also can be eaten but Im not sure how that works ahah. Hope you are doing well starting the farm back up!

The A-frame was a great project, I recently unearthed it from the weeds and brambles to raise another flock of broilers in 👌 Guinea pigs sound super cool, I'm sure my kids would love that too! Thanks for the tip, I'll have to do some research 👍
IBC tote would be rad no doubt! I envision a gutter/rain collection system that feeds into an IBC then feeds into watering nipples. But then I wonder if all of that is just overkill... 🤔
@Slowsteading I don't think it's overkill. I'm doing just that. The IBC is set up, the gutters will be set up sometime before years end. Come check it out on the 28th when I build the rocket stove portion of my RMH.
