Q: What is the story behind "If I never Breathe again"?
A: This song was inspired by a couple I knew many years ago. In short, immediately after they got engaged, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer which was tragic for all of us, but especially for them.
Although her time was limited, it was still her desire to be married and so they did. They got married. Even though he knew he would never take his bride home from the hospital, he gave her the most selfless gift; himself. She passed away within days of their bedside ceremony. I get weepy every time I think of them.”
And Mark also said that he was very happy that Dimash wanted to sing his song.

The best part of this replay is I can go back and replay the part where Richard falls on his piano while listening to Love is Like a Dream over and over and also to see their cute faces when they react.

@@Throga Among the gifts Dears gave Dimash, and which he has been seen using/wearing : microphone, necklaces (manly 😁) , T-shirt, traditional ukrainian shirt, traditional instruments of other countries on MANY occasions (Dubai, Turkey etc).
The blue microphone you see in most China performances is a gift from chinese Dears, from back in 2017, engraved by them with his name. He still uses it in China to this day. Necklaces from fans - he`s been seen wearing several of them. The white ukrainian traditional shirt in Kiev Arnau concert was left by fans in his dressing room before concert, he showed up with it on stage.
"Immaterial" gifts : named a star in the Andromeda Galaxy after him (through Name A Star Live project), put his name on the chip on the Mars rover Perseverence, that landed on Mars in 2021. The Mars rover had 2 chips with thousands of names from around the world, and those who submitted their name got a NASA ticket, as if they visited Mars :))

And a story worth a reaction someday, because there`s a mini-documentary about it, is the US Dear who gave away her Michael Jackson signed poster to Dimash, when he was in L.A. ~2018.
The magic of it : looking on the back of the poster, the Dear saw the date on which MJ signed her poster, she had marked it down on the back all those years ago and forgot about it.

So excited for next week with my favorite version of "Autumn Strong" from Kiev - can't wait!!
Did you notice the size of that stage and how he needs to be physically in shape to be crossing it and going out to the runway so often during a 2 1/2 - 3 hour concert and still be able to sing as he does. If you're going to react to "Let It Be" please do the KAZAKH version. He used it as his last song in his New York concert and in a couple of other concerts. In New York, he just improvised with a lot of riffs near the end. Dimash-Music In Human Form. I wish I was able to see him live in Budapest - or anywhere for that matter. He is the ONLY singer/entertainer that I would go to see in a concert these days. You are SO lucky.

Igor wrote many of Dimash's songs quite a long time ago. Not all of them, but a lot of them. In addition, some songs were without lyrics, such as "Love of Tired Swans". It was later that the lyrics were written and even translated into French for Lara Fabian.

Dimash turned this cover into a MASTERPIECE, and the included Ave Maria was apparently his idea!😍 This performance was also wonderful, iconic. You must know that the burgundy iconic suit Dimash wore here was sold yesterday at an auction, the proceeds of which support the victims of the tragic flood in Kazakhstan... It was bought by a Kazakh economic blogger for 2,000,000 tenge, or approximately $4,000.
