I am strictly PC, but my wife is PC and Xbox and she subscribes on PC that way she's not paying for the stupid coins that only come in increments of 500 when she has a $13 sub.
It’s kinda nice to have the option because with the Microsoft rewards system I can now use points to get Xbox gift cards and get months of ffxiv sub for free. I could also see them just adding the coins as a redeemable item with the points in the future.
Don't justify this convoluted bs.
