I was walking next to a girl at uni and could smell ariana grande cloud, i asked her if she was wearing it and she said it was actually baccarat rouge 540. Working in fragrance i smell the cloud fragrance alot as it is quite popular and has a distinct smell. I can definitely confirm that it is an exact double of 540

I love this purfume! I did a blind buy and was not disappointed. I got the last one from Wal-Greens today. It smells like a woodsy marshmallow on the dry down. It has a light smokey scent and smells like a lighter version of bonfire bash from bath and body works. It would last longer if you use the bonfire bash body cream with this purfume. It smells Amazing!
i just smelled this one and LOVED it. yum. like a sexy toasted coconut marshmallow. it's sweet but there's something special about it to me.

I have that perfume! I ordered it 2 days ago and got it yesterday! It’s the best! And the best part is it’s cruelty free wich means they don’t test it on animals! Wich is great!

i bought this the other day because a woman came into sephora and all i could smell was this fragrance! i first thought it was a men’s cologne, but then when i asked her what she was wearing, she said this. it actually took me by surprise! i did not expect an ariana fragrance. i wore it to work the next day and my boss asked me if i was wearing “by the fireplace” by replica. i’ve never smelled that one but it was one that always intrigued me! so i am very happy with this fragrance. my new signature.

CLOUD! Yessss. Im down to my 5th bottle!!! I wear it EVERYDAY! People I don't know ASK me what I was wearing. Id tell tell it's probably my body wash! Health-care setting won't let you wear perfume!!!!! PERIOD! 😜

You really shouldn’t wear perfume in a healthcare setting, you are probably working near people who could get sick and have bad reactions to the scent. Where it out to dinner instead!

Cloud is an amazing fragrance....I've never tried Baccarat Rouge 540 but if it smells like cloud, I'm sure I would love it too!

Did you do a blind test? Spray one side cloud and the other side 540? Ask your friend to pick out which smells better. Your body chemistry might have make a difference or make both the same perfume smell the same on you.

I absolutely loved Glo by JLo then she did some flankers of Glo. They were all nice, Miami Glo was really good. I wore Glo for a very long time. I am looking for a signature scent. I can’t find “the one” maybe I’m meant to change it up. I love Gypsy Water, I love Gucci Memoire, I love Narsisco Rodrigues, and I love Lost Cherry. Recently I tried Cherry Punk by Room 1015 and loved it too. I recently picked up Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi and it is fantastic. It is a beastly performer. I am liking it very much and now I am so interested in this house. There’s other fragrance’s that appeal to me. Cassiopeia sounds “heavenly” pun intended. I also picked up Dark Purple by Montale it’s heavy on the rose 🌹 but I like it.
I got this recently and like it. Love the tropical, coconut opening it has on me. It's synthetic and the dry down is linear, and I don't mean that negatively. It's light, sweet and airy, not heavy or cloying. It lasts all day on me even if it isn't a projection beast. I got it because I was curious about the BR540 comparison. I have BR540 and I honestly don't find them similar at all. At best, a nod to a synthetic aspect and/or sweetness? Maybe I know BR540 too well? I can't believe I would mistake the two, but I still like CLOUD just for what it is. Simple, light, sweet. It makes me happy.

I thought it was just me & my nose. While both fragrances are nice I don't think they are the same at all.
I have bacc 540. And today my young classmate was wearing cloud and I kept saying I know she's not wearing bacc 540 no way. It smells really similar!!! But it doesn't last near as long as bacc 540.

On my skin „Cloud“ actually lasts very long.. I can smell it very clearly for 8/9 hours. It takes up to 14 hours until it disappears completely :‘)
Cloud most definitely lasts all day and frankly is a damn good money saver.

I've had this perfume for a while and I'm just realizing it's similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 since I've never smelled it before I had no idea but I definitely like the Ariana Grande fragrance and by your description, it seems like I would like Baccarat Rouge too!
BR 540 is similar but a bit spicier, a tad less sweet, imo. I love them both. I wear Cloud daily, and BR540 on dates or special occasions.
I don't know why but it also feels a bit salty (?) It is very sweet but there is something about it, that smells so different and absolutely not sweet and I LOVE it! At first I hated the smell but I couldn't stop thinking about the perfume and after a few weeks I bought the largest bottle and it was the best decision. 😂

I just bought the Baccarat Rouge 540 travel size for $45.00. I tried the sample first for $25.00. I will have my husband buy a full size bottle for my birthday, in May. I think the Cloud would be too sweet for me. I'm a 63 yr old and don't like whimsical. Great review, thank you.

Great video👍 Honestly, to experience this type of fragrance you need the real thing. It's absolutely magical. When you think it gone or is a skin scent, it magically whispers in your ear. I have a tough time wearing sweet scents but this is just different. The opening puts a huge smile on my face lol. If it costs a bit much for people just pick up a 10ml decant, it lasts a long time. I have two clones.....not even close! I'm rambling on lol.....Have a great day/night🤙

This is the best breakdown and comparison that I have found. One downside of Cloud is that the scent is not consistent between bottles! I own a bottle and then had my sister smell one in ULTa. They did not smell the same. That’s a big downside.
you know i am noticing something similar. i bought a bottle like 6 months ago and over time i feel like the sweetness at the beginning has gone away. i went to kohls and sprayed the tester and it was WAY sweeter and yummier upon first spray so i thought mine had gone bad. so i ended up buying a new 1oz bottle and yet it still smells like the first bottle i have that isn't as sweet in the opening. weird. lol
likeliterally that is strange. I wonder if they changed the formulation?

Yes it smells good; sweet like creamy candy, but there’s actually another fragrance that smells similar and is even cheaper: Bath and Body Works’ “In the Stars” ✨
Yessss, I knew I smelled something similar to “Cloud” before. You named it. They smell exactly the same to me.
I feel like cloud is creamier and has that praline note too. To me they are way different. Who knows, I go nose blind to all the baccarat type fragrances.

I am actually surprised I liked it. I don't really have a celebrity fragrance in my collection and I am not really a gourmand person however I really did enjoy this fragrance when I tried it and I am definitely going to get it.
Just received a sample of BR540 yesterday and did one spray to smell.

Even though 540 isn't for me , if someone loves it. It's always great to have a less expensive alternative even if it isn't an out and out dupe but something that can get you a similar vibe is helpful 👌

I loved this perfume on the strip so I ordered it, but when I got it on my skin I got a strong note of play dough and almost skunk! My husband said I smelled amazing though 🤔 I'm hoping if I keep using it I will start enjoying it.

@Mr. E.W Firstly, Cloud is so overused and generic, everyone and their grandma is wearing that perfume, Thank U, Next! Literally smells like pickles and R.E.M. Isn't bad but it isnt great, i prefer Arianas earlier perfumes WAYY better, mostly Sweet Like Candy. And Rihanna's perfumes honestly aren't all bad but there are only one or two that I liked enough that i would buy it. I'm a celebrity perfume collector and have over 200 bottles of perfume and out of all this perfumes, the top 3 would be 1) Fantasy By Britney Spears 2) Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Tease (Discontinued) 3) Sweet Like Candy Ariana Grande

Jade Aguero I did! I like it! I find the dry down is very similar to Patrick Ta’s body oil which is a scent I’ve always wanted bottled. I’m happy with it!

Nice review Steven. The only celebrity fragrance I own is The Secret Temptation by Antonio Banderas, and it’s actually quite decent. It smells really nice, lasts for awhile, and I get a lot of compliments. And, I only paid 18 bucks for it on Fragrancenet.

I just bought pink sugar and I agree it is juvenile but I’m gonna wear it 😂. Ariana Cloud kinda smells a lil like Dolce and Gabbana Garden. I just bought the 1.0 oz of Ariana Grande Cloud at Walgreens for 25. tonight.
I wore Cloud and my client thought it was BR540, I was flattered but told him the truth. I have and like both. I don’t get how they smell similar. Cloud and BR are airy almost effervescent due to ambroxan but similarity ends there. Cloud smells juvenile (not negative), linear, much sweeter than BR, w/all due respect to you Cloud fans it smells inexpensive. BR is magical in that you might not smell yourself but believe me others can (I get lot compliments). It’s sophisticated, smells rich, blended well, the sweetness is subtle, worth every dollar, MFK did excellent job creating this masterpiece of scents
The description of this sounds like Aqualina's Gold Sugar. Oddly enough, when I first smelled BR540, the first thing that came to mind was Aqualina.

Yes you are right they are 2 different fragrances now that l own both of them l now see the difference cloud it gives off the baccarat feeling in the beginning but turns to this boring candy like smell whereas baccarat keeps the same smell it doesn’t change but they are all great fragrances l love love

What I initially got from Cloud was the sweetness but almost immediately, I smelled a peach & coconut smoothie, a tropical drink...fruit sweet & creamy. Honesty I'd wear cloud, it'd be a great vacation scent imo. Thx again!

Just based on the paper strip that came in the Ulta book it reminds me of Burberry Her which I love. Smells like cotton candy and leather. If this scent is similar it will be almost half the price of Her. Crossing my fingers. Can't wait to try this.

I snuck over and sampled this one day while I was out with my daughter. I would absolutely wear this but I think as a mature aged male, if you go sparingly on the trigger , it can be pulled off. Untill then I have PV's Sillage of Unicorns for me and my wifes actual 540 that will keep me in smelling dope.

Yes exactly the same smells only different prices. And the longevity is nice. Majority of pe op people have to keep in mind that all body chemicals and certain fragrances dont mix well.

I love cloud BUT the smell dissapears so fast on me. Very disapointing. It was like the small samples I got was stronger
I love perfumes and have to say that Cloud was not my taste and did not think it smelled like BR. Cloud is way more synthetic, with a plastic scent and the coconut scent is overpowering.
smelling this on my skin, i realise that the dry down smells like a less sweet version of Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille!
I ve been trying this today and currently have it on my hand and have so for 5 hours so here’s my take.... for the first 5 to 10 minutes it does smell a bit like baccarat rouge however after that for 3-4 hours it’s like a candy floss whipped cream smell but past that it then returns to something similar to br again is it ok clone to be honest no. It has moments like br but not a clone. I haven’t bought it as I tried on a tester and I wouldn’t buy it as a clone of br540 I think it’s way too female rather then unisex in the way fantasy is female. I don’t dislike it but I won’t wear it but would be good on a girl/ younger lady

I find the commented confusing and strange. This is the one perfume I must smell in person before buying. Some comments describe the perfume smell as clouds, marshmallows, Disney land and sexy. :/ I've never thought of any of those as "sexy" :/

Maybe it’s me but cloud doesn’t last on me. I’ll spray like 20 sprays and it may stretch 4 hours. I like it ok, just no longevity for me.

Cloud hit me with a thunderbolt of a cheap coconut scent. Much like I've smelled in hair products or Sally Hansen massage cream. I gagged. Dry down after 30 min not too bad but nothing like Baccarat Rouge 540 🥴

If youre looking for a more fruity/sweeter scent try sweet like candy or moonlight. Sweet like candy is (as suggested) sweet. While moonlight is quite sweet with a hint of blackberries and vanilla
It is just me or I don't smell nothing that sweet, it is really exact dupe of Baccarat, to me Cloud has that same salty ambergris note, I get a wet salty stone feeling of this. Nothing like coconut at least. It is very alluring to me.
I have a sample of BR 540 and a 1.7 bottle of cloud. As an experiment i placed One on the right wrist one on the left. I had a group of friends and family smell and note the difference. The results I received were that the differences are extremely minimal to nonexistent. Hell both wrists smelled the exact same to me. This is the exact dupe and while some people may not like it and can note the differences, those who will argue to great lengths that they are in no way similar are being pretentious & eletist gatekeepers for an overhyped $300+ bottle of perfume.
Can someone please help me? I tried baccarat rouge on my skin 2 times in the store but it doesn't smell like anything. Its like I didn't even put on perfume. I support the perfumer but I just don't have that much money to spare if it doesn't show up on me. I don't get it cause people say its so strong, lasts several days on them 😥
The extrait is the superior version of the 540 and last longer projectile better.
It was reformulated now it doesn’t smell them the same or any lasting power
I just purchased the travel spray for Cloud and NO it doesn’t smell like BR540. I have BR540 and nothing compares to it. This smells good but it doesn’t last at all. This is more of a skin scent or a bedtime scent.

To me this is really close to BR540. When I first smelled it on a test strip that’s what it smelled like to me. A day later I was sitting in my living room and I started to get the scent of BR540. I thought someone in family had got my bottle of BR540 and was wearing it. It turns out that the smell I was getting was from the test strip I had sprayed with Ariana Grande Cloud the day before and was sitting on my coffee table.

It smells good at first then it changes on me as does not smell like baccarat do not try to substitute just pay the extra 100's
