There is no "Surprising Ending" folks, the girl found a fully equipped but empty bunker as the other two groups are also directed to the same exact house containing it. The ending is so obvious they just spared us those last, patronizing three minutes. And thank goodness for that, otherwise the film would have been a "Hallmark Channel" candidate.

Both Dads were going to find the bunker, Rose and Julia Robert’s were in the woods going to the house where her daughter had gone on her bike so they will all meet there and be safe in the bunker, obvious is it not?
I think the whole movie is just about the girl,all that happen before was just a setup,to show what she went through ,the ending she left everyone because no one cares and found a bunker where she can watch friends,where she can be happy and survive ,hence she left the world behind just to be happy on her own😅
Making it to the bunker and surviving are two different outcomes! If you have a bunker secretly and didn't warn the people you are just as Evil as the ones starting this....
