    Julia is amazing but Ethan does steal the show and Mahershala is SO intriguing... Great movie! It makes me sad hearing he's been 6"2' since he was 14! My son will be too and I'm trying to teach him people's reaction to him will change as we're black! Just be careful, I'd tell him, remember you're black... But he is so young, 10, he doesn't really knowwhat I mean! 😢

    In fairness her character wasn't 'unlikeable' but moreso jaded and fed up with people. She cared for her family and put them first and protected them. 'unlikeable' I didn't get that vibe at all. Very well acted movie.

    The interviewer couldn’t dig deeper about the character julia played just because she didn’t play the typical sweetheart. I loved her character she was a fierce protective mother with grit and determination and she was guarded and didn’t trust people but perhaps alot of people aren’t trustworthy!!! Real people aren’t fully likeable fake people are likeable as they don’t show their true self
    She wasn’t trusting of other as she didn’t live in a delusional fake world that all people are sunshine and rainbows
    I loved her character she took time to trust and questioned everything

      This movie is a warning. If you think things were bad during the pandemic this predicts a future that is a lot worse. The system we live in is very fragile and it would not take much for everything we rely on to collapse. Take out communication, spread mis-information then sit back and watch people turn on each other. It is a recipe for the new type of warfare in the digital age.

    13 minute interview about a movie. The fact that the Obamas produced it is given a fraction of bandwidth. Meanwhile the only three comments on the video address their association with it and nothing else. No, we don’t have a problem with excessive politicization at all.

      @@77Creation Respectfully, you don’t know who I am or what status quo I benefit from so please miss me with that.
      If your kneejerk response to hearing about a political candidate you dislike being associated with something is to reject it simply based on that without investigating further, that’s not only excessive but dangerous and ignorant. Not saying you, just people in general. I’m not going to stop liking deep dish pepperoni pizza because a politician I disagree with likes it. But people here are literally and proudly stating that they are rejecting the movie out of hand simply because it’s being produced by the Obamas. That’s a problem.

    • @meek9423
      @meek9423 11 месяцев назад

      Producers or executive producers are just "money men". They basically help to finance the production of the movie.... so to have a longer dialog about them is unnecessary. Usually producers or executive producers have little to nothing at all to do with the script or the day to day of the movie.

    • @HovaNirvana
      @HovaNirvana 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@meek9423 I understand that. My issue is not that they weren’t talked about more. It’s that the first several comments on this video indicated that some people heard “Obamas” and immediately checked out, apparently without further investigation. Which is whatever, but there was no need to comment in that case.
