Thank you for an informative video of the requirements on a liferaft, lashing and means of activation.
As long as the HRU is not hydrostatically activated, you may still consider it a strong point. Hence no need to move the painter line from the WeakLink at a manually controlled launch, that is unless assessed more convenient.

The proper method is to full the painter first until the "Y" section before throwing it overboard. And then finally TUG on the painter to inflate the liferaft.
When boarding, make sure to settle the painter in between your legs. So that, as you climb down the ladder, you are now riding the painter and the liferaft will come closer.

Yes those 3 pins are for liferaft inspection purpose...actually its a cover which will can be opened with a special spanner With inspection kit you will get a spaner which you will ve able to insert in this 3 dots .. as you open this cover ... You will find USB inside ... From there you can insert the device which for inspection and collect the Data for CO 2 AND MOISTURE content
