Mitsubishi is honestly an underrated brand. I have the 2015 version this car and it is reliable car. Ive also had a lancer, and a mirage that ran for years.

True. Their cars are getting quite good, such as the Montero Sport/Pajero Sport (depending on location), Outlander as shown on video, Xpander, Mirage, Strada/Triton, and so on. May not be the best cars in their respective segments (idk if its the right word), but all the cars are quite reliable and even quite comfortable. But, I really do hope they will consider making those sportier cars again.. (Like the Lancer)

For everyone that's saying that it's slow well it's not, it has 248HP and 332lb-ft, MotorTrend got a time of 6.5 seconds sprint to 60 and it's AWD S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) system is rear biased.
I work for a shop that does the leather in these things. Honestly pretty nice cars, definitely worth a look for a family car. My boss was so impressed with them he bought one.
@@TYPICALTRYHARD_ Mitsubishi has been using JATCO CVT's since the 90's, even Suzuki uses them, infact, every car that Mitsubishi makes that has a CVT Transmission are all sourced from JATCO. The Lancer/Lancer Sportback/Grand Lancer, Mirage/Mirage G4/Attrage, Outlander, Outlander Sport/RVR/ASX, and many more, some of those cars that I've mentioned are almost if not a decade old and they're still in production as of today, and they don't have issues, even Toyota had issues with it's CVT's, their new Tundra had wastegate issues, even Kia has issues with their DCT's and their massive recalls.

@@mljaleisia the ES model doesn’t have all the good stuff tho😂 so we got no leather seats which means they are not heated. And no built in navigation. No sunroof. But if you get the SE it SEL I think get those. The PHEV and SEL and the most expensive. ES is cheapest. SE is mid.

The 3rd row is very tight and not for adults. I have a 2023 Outlander SE Black Edition. What I don’t like about it is, like Nissan and Toyota, Mitsubishi started using CVT transmission which is not good vs traditional automatic transmission. Cvt has no “gears” so if the transmission breaks down or stops working, the whole thing has to be replaced. The traditional transmission can be fixed.
Jaw drop on the tailgate feature. My 2011 has a tailgate but they stopped making the type I have after 2011. So this is nice to see how they re incorporated it.
Owned one for about 6 months now. 0-60 is perfectly fine...6-6.5ish seconds. Faster than Soltera, BZ4X, Tuscon PHEV, and Sportage PHEV. Interior is nice. The third row is kind of useless. Steering is far too light but AWD is great. If they could just stiffen up the steering that would be a huge improvement.
the trunk seats are pretty cool
2001 honda oddysey has similar seat like that on the trunk too
2011-19 ford explorers have those as well, just can’t tailgate with them though
