Richard is the daily Mail voice of reason, Prince Andrew is arrogant but his accuser was named in Ghislaines trial by the victims as the person who trafficked them!! She lied under deposition in 2014, her sixty minutes interview was very telling as well. I have always felt Andrew was thrown under a bus to protect American elite. I wish he had fought this, but I understand why he didn’t, ( The Queen,s jubilee ) I always questioned why such a prestigious law firm took on this case with a photoshopped picture. Why should Richard hold back, he's only saying what most of feel. Richard is a gentleman, he's always very tactful but honest and straightforward, and those are rare qualities in media at present. I applaud him for speaking THE truth, he's the main reason I watch the show😊👏
The problem with not granting PE the Edinburgh title is that the Earl and Countess are major work horses in the new slimmed down monarchy now that PA and PH are no longer working royals. Given the amount of work the Wessexs’ are contributing, they deserve the Edinburgh title.
Do you think the King might be saving the title for Prince George? I also feel the Earl and Countess of Wessex deserve recognition and an enhanced status although the King might not feel ready to have someone else fill his father's shoes, even his own brother.
The title is only passed down to males in-line for the throne. If I remember correctly. If Prince Edward had it it would be out of the line eventually . It also bring a pay check with it so they don’t want to be paying someone that will not be a working royal. That is my understanding about it. The King will do what’s right.
I support Charles but I do hope he doesn’t fall into being too rigid and not adapting. I think he was so disliked for so long after the Diana and Camilla debacle that one of his best ideas to curry favour with the public was to modernize/downsize. Which is all well and good. But things have changed a bit and I think he might be cutting back a little too much. I think he needs to be slightly more flexible because the royal family needs more workers. And I don’t see any problem with Edward getting that title and I think it’s terrible that Charles isn’t honouring it. I’m sure something can be worked out. Or give him another title that doesn’t have a hereditary aspect. But honestly with the age of most of the Royals and the time it’s going to take Williams children to truly be ready, if Edwards kids wanted to have a title and work for the family, I think they are needed. His daughter would be a real credit and has a lovely way about her. I think everyone assumes they all are going to have long lives because of the queen and the queen mother. But there’s no guarantee of that and there’s also no guarantee that any of the senior royals won’t have illnesses that interfere. Infirmity can happen. It happened to me at age 45 out of the blue and I’m 51 now. So he needs to line up some younger people. And Edwards family has a good manner. Sensible, modest, etc. Sometimes it seems like Charles wants to hold everything for himself. Although I’m sure there’s reasons behind it that’s just the optics. Like the plum stuff. And I certainly hope we don’t get into Charles and his siblings competing with each other or sore feelings. We don’t need that. It is very offputting hearing them getting miffed and competitive with each other. Charles needs to be harder with Harry. He needs to show his appreciation towards Edward and Sophie. No matter what, it’s a really bad look that he’s not honouring a long time promise to his brother. He should not dictate his siblings being seen with Andrew. But i think he wanted them and the public know he will not partake.
Maybe Prince Edward does not want the title ! Maybe he is happy with his place in the family . Not every one wants more responsibility and to be in the limelight
Not a good look on Charles if he has decided to not give the Duke of Edinburgh title to Edward. He needs to read the room, his brother and his wife deserve this.
Charles is going to need allies and representatives so out of his wisdom he should keep the deal made with Edward. I would’ve thought he was bigger than this.
Read linda laneinge post to the previous question. She's very knowledgeable. The title of the Duke of Edinburgh is SUPPOSED to be awarded to an heir to the throne, which Edward is not. If Edward gets the title, the dukedom would basically be taken from future monarchs and fall out of the line.... I believe Charles will do what's correct for the future of the monarchy. Maybe with the condition that it will NOT be inherited by Edward's son but return to the monarchs discretion after Edward's death. We will see, I suppose.
@@MrsGiddydiddy Charles has been territorial about, and very cognizant of his position for his entire life. He is a bit of a narcissist. I don't think Camilla would have started anything that Charles wasn't already annoyed about already. I think he wants D.of Edinburgh for Harry, or Louis, because he is really into his own "dynasty", which might be his downfall in the popularity polls. George will be Prince of Wales at some point.
I think it is such a shame that King Charles has now decided that Edward will not receive the title Duke of Edinburgh. Edward and Sophie have been working so hard that I am astonished that King Charles has done this yet will not remove prince Harry and his wife’s titles as they seem to be hell bent on destroying our Royal Family.
Thinking not removing the Sussex titles and not giving the Duke of Edinburgh title to his brother will be detrimental to the monarchy which I hope will be preserved for William and Catherine
I love Richard’s sarcasm too and he is spot on with his insights about the Harkles. I think that’s one the main reasons for his popularity. He sees right through the PR and scams of Harry and Meghan and tells it like it is.

It's very said that KC is not respecting his parents wishes by giving Edward the title. It looks like Charles is trying to keep everything between himself and William and for it to all pass on to Williams children. He can't just pretend his brother doesn't exist because they were never close etc.. that's ridiculous! The queen and Philip are Edwards parents too
The Queen passed away only a few months ago; they are still mourning her passing. Let him get through the coronation before he starts bestowing major titles.
It was wrong of the Queen to promise her youngest son a title that was NOT hers to pass along.She knew that the title would revert to Charles as the heir to HRH Prince Philip. Charles is King and is not obligated to respect the wishes of the former monarch. I suspect that he isn't going to.

I have to say I'm disappointed that your panel and host reduced Catherine, Princess of Wales to a walking gown and tiara. She is MUCH MORE than that - and I think it showed how diplomatic she was as she walked at the right hand of President Ramaphosa and he was clearly charmed by her during dinner as she was seated next to him. I am sure that Catherine was well prepared to engage the president in more than just small talk and to reduce her to simple eye-candy is rude and dare I say misogynistic. I don't like to shame others - but the male reporters and female reporters on this program need to step up their game and start giving the Princess of Wales some more RESPECT.
I think you're wrong. This panel never treats the PofW like that. Discussion about what she's wearing is a natural happening, otherwise she wouldn't bother outfitting herself in order to cause a sensation. This is her first official state outing as PofW, and she made it count - through her clothing and her jewels.

The panel discussed what she was wearing - but not the fact that King Charles III sent his son and daughter in law to meet and greet President Ramaphosa, and they had a conversation in front of cameras, and then they escorted the President throughout his duties that day and were his main companions that evening. Instead they played off a made-up jealousy of King Charles III over his daughter in law's gown. Ridiculous.
I was also disappointed in the way Catherine was ‘handled ‘ and sorry that the seating at the banquet wasn’t followed up as it was most unusual . Normally the male next to female is the rule and husbands and wives never seated together and as the King and Queen were very involved in the planning, it must have been done for good reason. Catherine was seated where I would have expected the Queen and the South African Foreign Minister ( obviously standing in for the President’s wife ) next to the King . My daughter suggested it is all to do with optics ! I had a smile when imagining what our dear late Queen would have quipped !

Over years Andrew has been depicted as very arrogant and prone to making poor judgements. The Epstein friendship was the most obvious poor decision. If he wants to serve people, which is what true Royals do, let him do hard work in the background with charities. The Harkles tell stories, loosely based on fact, they don’t deserve any award.
He has incredibly poor judgement. That's why he needs assistance. Best they work to help him find a new role before he again finds himself in hot water.
I would love to see both Edward and Sophie get a little more love from the institution. If the title was promised, it should be given. I hope KC doesn’t get too hung up on his ‘slimmed down monarchy.’ Sophie, in particular, is a treasure! She and Catherine are wonderful examples of royal wives adapting and thriving. Please also give Sophie access to some more impressive tiaras!

Prince Edward deserves the title. It would be dishonourable to the express wishes of their parents not to confer the title on him. Further, there will be a public outcry and backlash against HMTK if he refuses to confer the title. He does not need to be 'close' to his younger brother to give him what is rightfully his!! He needs as many loyal people, or is he seeking to hold it 'in trust' for Harry or Louis?
I think Edward has been doing good work with the Duke of Edinburgh award hasn't he. My sister got the bronze silver and gold award from the Duke of Edinbrgh himself years ago.
I have wondered if King Charles is holding the DoE title back for Prince Louis in due course? However I do think that it would be an unfortunate misstep to deny Edward that which was promised to him. Edward and Sophie are hard working and respected senior royals. I think the King will face much push back from the public if he doesn't honour his parents wishes. Every royal Duke titles in current use are English, Cambridge, Cornwall, Sussex and yes, York. Speaking as a Scot and a native of Edinburgh I would be disappointed if the title was mothballed. HMTQ was very conscious of keeping Scotland onside and given the politics of the day King Charles would be wise to keep we rebellious Scots sweet!

Why put pressure on a minor to make a decision? The Scottish people may not be happy that a Scottish dukedom would be put into abeyance I’m sure. Andrew has the ability to still be active in his country just like the rest of us do. He can volunteer to help homeless shelters, food banks, etc. just not in his official capacity. Without recognition. Like the rest of the population! If he really wants to help, this is what he needs to do. If he just wants recognition and money.... well then we know where his heart actually lives.
I always thought that at the core, Charles and Edward had the most in common. There is a huge age gap, however Edward has always been loyal. He has dedicated decade to the Duke of Edinburg awards, he is polite, pleasant, and he is a very creative person that enjoys theatre etc. I accidentally was in a place where he walked past me once and was in that short moment, very nice!

Andrew is very grandiose and not known for having any humility so I think if he was offered work with the less fortunate he wouldn't be interested. Jetsetting off to the Middle East to hobnob with the royals over there would be much more his thing.

As a 🇿🇦, no we weren't! I did watch the wedding, but I'm of colonial stock. In no way, shape or form was the wedding anywhere near as exciting, hopful, and inspiring as the release of Nelson Mandela.

Kerry Kennedy and staff always look for someone who can sell tickets to the ceremony, and bring in big bucks. Kerry K pays herself over $500K yearly, no matter how much or how little the charity brings in. She's not altogether respected in the US. Her description of the reasons why the Markles are getting the award is an exercise in BS, has no relation to reality, and the many people who are skeptical of the Kennedys at the best of times, will be aware of this. People in the UK might not realize how far the Kennedys have fallen in the US.
Within the military, if you bring your regiment into disrepute, you can no longer serve and are stripped of your rank. For that reason, Andrew should never again work within a royal role and represent the RF. He should have thought about his associations and actions, just as every private soldier does. King Charles has the final say as he is our monarch.
As a military retired myself, you are also not allowed to draw a pension if you fall into disrepute. One must maintain the standards whether active duty or retired. Andrew is still drawing an income, via his mother and his grace and favour mansion.

To understand why Kerry Kennedy chose to award Harry and Meghan is to understand the competitiveness within the Kennedy family. Caroline Kennedy and her children partnered with William for Earthshot--a major initiative. Kerry's competitive nature with her cousin, Caroline, had to try and usurp that momentum. Even RFK Jr. is puzzled why they are being awarded. Joseph Kennedy fostered intra-family competition and that tradition still goes on generations later.

I am pretty frustrated that Edward may not get the Duke of Edinburgh title. It comes across as quite petty. I remember Edward had a slimmed down wedding in part because of the scandals regarding his family. Now he gets no title because of the slimming of the monarchy. It seems unfair.

It has long been rumored that Kerry Kennedy is jealous of her cousin Caroline, just as Megsy is jealous of Catherine. This is a case of 2 spiteful women being resentful. There's no reason that Prince Andrew can't work in his personal capacity. But I don't think he should return as a working Royal. Yes, his accuser has withdrawn allegations against Dershowitz but she won't being doing that with regards to Andrew. She won't say she 'misremembered' her allegations against him because she already has the money from him. And, no matter what he says, by settling the lawsuit, many people believe it equates to Andrew admitting he is guilty. It's wrong of Charles not to follow the wishes of the Queen and Prince Philip with reference to the Duke of Edinburgh title. Edward and Sophie do a lot of work for the Royal Family. I think we all knew that the title was promised to Edward and it is a snub that he isn't getting it. Everything doesn't have to tie into the Sussexes. THEY choose to step back and leave. I'm sick of hearing about how they aren't there and how they must feel. The Royal Family seem to bend over backwards to appease them. I think they have to stop doing that and actually RESPOND to the lies they tell. I don't really care about the Sussexes' feelings. They certainly don't care about Henry's family. Notice how the Royal Family gives out awards and the Sussexes get awards that they probably paid for in some way.

I couldn't agree more. Harry and his wife have done nothing to earn their titles and have spent their time in America ripping apart the RF for money and they haven't finished yet!!! Prince Edward and his wife Sophie have worked hard to support the RF and in doing so they support King Charles.

I remember hearing how Prince Philip bemoaned the fact that he was the only man in Britain whose children couldn’t carry his name and I believe that is why he was so keen for Edward to carry his title and even for James and his heirs to perpetuate it as a living memorial to his life and work ( not very well put I know ) I find it a perfectly natural sentiment in a man who always had to stand in his wife’s shadow and Her Majesty also understood. This slimming down of the monarchy has many dangers I believe and just one is , when Prince William is king will he have anyone to support him ? My thoughts too. Slimmed down monarchy was a mistake. William and Catherine are literally carrying the monarchy at this point. Eventually the royals will spread themselves too thin and people will lose interest.

We in America know all about Earthshot - do you guys in the UK not know? The way the reporter is explaining it - it sounds like you don't know about this global prize which is awesome! I wonder why you guys don't know about it. And we all know that Harry and Markle is getting an award from RFK Human Rights, and frankly most Americans don't know about that award, we all know it's because of Harry and Markle's jealousy of William and Catherine.
A solution to the Duke of Edinburgh title issue would be to grant it to Prince Edward but not make it hereditary . Therefore, on Prince Edward’s passing , it will revert to the crown . This way, the dukedom is only reserved for any future senior royal family members as a one generation dukedom .
That’s a possible solution but won’t Edward’s son inherit the Earl of Wessex title anyway. Can’t see much difference between one hereditary title and another. It’s not as if it is a new creation.
I have always had a soft spot for the RF and over the years, as we both aged, grew great compassion for KC for different reasons. However, i am disappointed in him for not granting PE the DoE title. I think he is not reading the room as people all over the world hold the Wessex couple in high esteem. KC now appears petty and spiteful. It has been said that Edward will probably get the DofE title on his 60th birthday, which is when a lot of "gifts" are given. I personally think Richard has jumped the gun on this as even if Edwards son inherits the title does not mean he needs to be a working Royal. Look at other members of the family that hold Duke titles and don't work for the RF.
Personally I have mixed feelings about Andrew. I think the family and Andrew are being a little too quick to jump on the rehabilitation front. Make a deal with him behind closed doors with a reveal sometime much later. It is still too soon for this. As for Beatrice and Eugenie. Yes on Beatrice, I think she is lovely and an asset, but a resounding 'no' on Eugenie. She does not like the Queen nor the Princess of Wales. She is a detriment. Sorry, but it's the truth. I have lost some respect for King Charles III. Not allowing Prince Edward the title of Duke of Edinburgh is a mistake. It was an agreement between the Queen, Prince Philip, and at the time Prince Charles, and Prince Edward. KC III excuse is that it is an inherited title and will pass down to his son. Why not modify the agreement so that only Prince Edward will have the title and when he passes it will revert back to the crown? Prince Edward is the only family member who not gotten a divorce, is raising his kids with the expectation that will need to work for a living, has been a dutiful royal, and is a trustee and chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh awards. Prince Edward deserves the Duke of Edinburgh title. I hope there will a bit of a backlash from the people about KC III decision. Just one person’s opinion from Boston, Massachusetts.

The problem with not granting PE the Edinburgh title is that the Earl and Countess are major work horses in the new slimmed down monarchy now that PA and PH are no longer working royals. Given the amount of work the Wessexs’ are contributing, they deserve the Edinburgh title.

The title is only passed down to males in-line for the throne. If I remember correctly. If Prince Edward had it it would be out of the line eventually . It also bring a pay check with it so they don’t want to be paying someone that will not be a working royal. That is my understanding about it. The King will do what’s right.
I support Charles but I do hope he doesn’t fall into being too rigid and not adapting. I think he was so disliked for so long after the Diana and Camilla debacle that one of his best ideas to curry favour with the public was to modernize/downsize. Which is all well and good. But things have changed a bit and I think he might be cutting back a little too much. I think he needs to be slightly more flexible because the royal family needs more workers. And I don’t see any problem with Edward getting that title and I think it’s terrible that Charles isn’t honouring it. I’m sure something can be worked out. Or give him another title that doesn’t have a hereditary aspect. But honestly with the age of most of the Royals and the time it’s going to take Williams children to truly be ready, if Edwards kids wanted to have a title and work for the family, I think they are needed. His daughter would be a real credit and has a lovely way about her. I think everyone assumes they all are going to have long lives because of the queen and the queen mother. But there’s no guarantee of that and there’s also no guarantee that any of the senior royals won’t have illnesses that interfere. Infirmity can happen. It happened to me at age 45 out of the blue and I’m 51 now. So he needs to line up some younger people. And Edwards family has a good manner. Sensible, modest, etc. Sometimes it seems like Charles wants to hold everything for himself. Although I’m sure there’s reasons behind it that’s just the optics. Like the plum stuff. And I certainly hope we don’t get into Charles and his siblings competing with each other or sore feelings. We don’t need that. It is very offputting hearing them getting miffed and competitive with each other. Charles needs to be harder with Harry. He needs to show his appreciation towards Edward and Sophie. No matter what, it’s a really bad look that he’s not honouring a long time promise to his brother. He should not dictate his siblings being seen with Andrew. But i think he wanted them and the public know he will not partake.

The title of the Duke of Edinburgh is SUPPOSED to be awarded to an heir to the throne, which Edward is not. If Edward gets the title, the dukedom would basically be taken from future monarchs and fall out of the line.... I believe Charles will do what's correct for the future of the monarchy. Maybe with the condition that it will NOT be inherited by Edward's son but return to the monarchs discretion after Edward's death. We will see, I suppose.

I think it is such a shame that King Charles has now decided that Edward will not receive the title Duke of Edinburgh. Edward and Sophie have been working so hard that I am astonished that King Charles has done this yet will not remove prince Harry and his wife’s titles as they seem to be hell bent on destroying our Royal Family.

It's very said that KC is not respecting his parents wishes by giving Edward the title. It looks like Charles is trying to keep everything between himself and William and for it to all pass on to Williams children. Titles are normally awarded on occasions and Edward will be awarded the title on his birthday next year as tradition goes .

I have to say I'm disappointed that your panel and host reduced Catherine, Princess of Wales to a walking gown and tiara. She is MUCH MORE than that - and I think it showed how diplomatic she was as she walked at the right hand of President Ramaphosa and he was clearly charmed by her during dinner as she was seated next to him. I am sure that Catherine was well prepared to engage the president in more than just small talk and to reduce her to simple eye-candy is rude and dare I say misogynistic. I don't like to shame others - but the male reporters and female reporters on this program need to step up their game and start giving the Princess of Wales some more RESPECT.
I think you're wrong. This panel never treats the PofW like that. Discussion about what she's wearing is a natural happening, otherwise she wouldn't bother outfitting herself in order to cause a sensation. This is her first official state outing as PofW, and she made it count - through her clothing and her jewels.

The panel discussed what she was wearing - but not the fact that King Charles III sent his son and daughter in law to meet and greet President Ramaphosa, and they had a conversation in front of cameras, and then they escorted the President throughout his duties that day and were his main companions that evening. I was also disappointed in the way Catherine was ‘handled ‘ and sorry that the seating at the banquet wasn’t followed up as it was most unusual . Normally the male next to female is the rule and husbands and wives never seated together and as the King and Queen were very involved in the planning, it must have been done for good reason. Catherine was seated where I would have expected the Queen and the South African Foreign Minister ( obviously standing in for the President’s wife ) next to the King . How can the Harkles be deserving of this award when they don’t show humanity towards Markle’s and the Royal Families? Humanity embraces all kindness, forgiveness and compassion.
Prince Edward deserves the title. It would be dishonourable to the express wishes of their parents not to confer the title on him. Further, there will be a public outcry and backlash against HMTK if he refuses to confer the title. He does not need to be 'close' to his younger brother to give him what is rightfully his!! He needs as many loyal people, or is he seeking to hold it 'in trust' for Harry or Louis?

I have wondered if King Charles is holding the DoE title back for Prince Louis in due course? However I do think that it would be an unfortunate misstep to deny Edward that which was promised to him. Edward and Sophie are hard working and respected senior royals. I think the King will face much push back from the public if he doesn't honour his parents wishes. Every royal Duke titles in current use are English, Cambridge, Cornwall, Sussex and yes, York. Speaking as a Scot and a native of Edinburgh I would be disappointed if the title was mothballed. I always thought that at the core, Charles and Edward had the most in common. There is a huge age gap, however Edward has always been loyal. He has dedicated decade to the Duke of Edinburg awards, he is polite, pleasant, and he is a very creative person that enjoys theatre etc. I accidentally was in a place where he walked past me once and was in that short moment, very nice!

Within the military, if you bring your regiment into disrepute, you can no longer serve and are stripped of your rank. For that reason, Andrew should never again work within a royal role and represent the RF. He should have thought about his associations and actions, just as every private soldier does. King Charles has the final say as he is our monarch.
As a military retired myself, you are also not allowed to draw a pension if you fall into disrepute. One must maintain the standards whether active duty or retired. Andrew is still drawing an income, via his mother and his grace and favour mansion.

To understand why Kerry Kennedy chose to award Harry and Meghan is to understand the competitiveness within the Kennedy family. Caroline Kennedy and her children partnered with William for Earthshot--a major initiative. Kerry's competitive nature with her cousin, Caroline, had to try and usurp that momentum. Even RFK Jr. is puzzled why they are being awarded.
Joseph Kennedy fostered intra-family competition and that tradition still goes on generations later.

I am pretty frustrated that Edward may not get the Duke of Edinburgh title. It comes across as quite petty. I remember Edward had a slimmed down wedding in part because of the scandals regarding his family. Now he gets no title because of the slimming of the monarchy. It seems unfair.

There's no reason that Prince Andrew can't work in his personal capacity. But I don't think he should return as a working Royal. Yes, his accuser has withdrawn allegations against Dershowitz but she won't being doing that with regards to Andrew. And, no matter what he says, by settling the lawsuit, many people believe it equates to Andrew admitting he is guilty.
It's wrong of Charles not to follow the wishes of the Queen and Prince Philip with reference to the Duke of Edinburgh title. Edward and Sophie do a lot of work for the Royal Family. I think we all knew that the title was promised to Edward and it is a snub that he isn't getting it.
Everything doesn't have to tie into the Sussexes. THEY choose to step back and leave. I'm sick of hearing about how they aren't there and how they must feel. The Royal Family seem to bend over backwards to appease them. I think they have to stop doing that and actually RESPOND to the lies they tell. I don't really care about the Sussexes' feelings. I remember hearing how Prince Philip bemoaned the fact that he was the only man in Britain whose children couldn’t carry his name and I believe that is why he was so keen for Edward to carry his title and even for James and his heirs to perpetuate it as a living memorial to his life and work ( not very well put I know ) I find it a perfectly natural sentiment in a man who always had to stand in his wife’s shadow and Her Majesty also understood. This slimming down of the monarchy has many dangers I believe and just one is , when Prince William is king will he have anyone to support him ? The Queen enjoyed the support of her cousins and what wonderful work those cousins are still doing for the crown .

My thoughts too. Slimmed down monarchy was a mistake. William and Catherine are literally carrying the monarchy at this point. Eventually the royals will spread themselves too thin and people will lose interest.

A solution to the Duke of Edinburgh title issue would be to grant it to Prince Edward but not make it hereditary . Therefore, on Prince Edward’s passing , it will revert to the crown . This way, the dukedom is only reserved for any future senior royal family members as a one generation dukedom .
That’s a possible solution but won’t Edward’s son inherit the Earl of Wessex title anyway. Can’t see much difference between one hereditary title and another. It’s not as if it is a new creation.
I have always had a soft spot for the RF and over the years, as we both aged, grew great compassion for KC for different reasons. However, i am disappointed in him for not granting PE the DoE title. I think he is not reading the room as people all over the world hold the Wessex couple in high esteem. KC now appears petty and spiteful. Personally I have mixed feelings about Andrew. I think the family and Andrew are being a little too quick to jump on the rehabilitation front. I have lost some respect for King Charles III. Not allowing Prince Edward the title of Duke of Edinburgh is a mistake. It was an agreement between the Queen, Prince Philip, and at the time Prince Charles, and Prince Edward. KC III excuse is that it is an inherited title and will pass down to his son. Why not modify the agreement so that only Prince Edward will have the title and when he passes it will revert back to the crown?
Prince Edward is the only family member who not gotten a divorce, is raising his kids with the expectation that will need to work for a living, has been a dutiful royal, and is a trustee and chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh awards. Prince Edward deserves the Duke of Edinburgh title.
I hope there will a bit of a backlash from the people about KC III decision.

These relationships have all been played out on film for our entertainment. I wonder if we will, at some point in the future, see Angela Kelly's story on film?

The gifting of the duke of Edinburgh is an invented controversy. There is zero indication that the king is refusing to gift it or refusing to gift it. All we know is that he hasn't gifted it. Timing, my dears. Is there any upcoming event for the D of E Awards or something? That would be good timing. Or, could the king gift it ahead of the coronation or on the New Year's Honor's List? I just think this is what we in the US call a Nothing-Burger.
