Troy is using an e-bow which vibrates the strings like a bow on a violin. Normally only used to prolong a single chord, but if you're Troy you can use it to play an entire song. 😃
Well, not the entire chord though... since it only vibrates one string at a time. But adding a sustain to the base note is really effective.
I do not underestimate Troy being able to do anything. He is the master of instruments.

Floor sitting on the drum stage until her part required her to stand is simply respect for her fellow bandmate. This is the thing that separates Nightwish from every other band, they have a genuine love for each other. If you watch the look on Floor's face as Marco walks back from the extended stage at Tampere following The Islander, it's pure pride and appreciation of his performance. There is also a performance of Floor and MArco singing "Ava Maria" ruclips.net/video/ut6ufu2CPNg/видео.html. where they show their affection for each other at the end. Marco is the proud "big brother" on this one. They are just such good people that it's easy to love them both.

“I do not wish to evade the world. Yet, I will forever build my own”, what a great line!
I have always taken this line as a message how Tuomas feels about Nightwish and his music.
Since it's Alanna's first time with My Walden, Troy was singing in Welch at the beginning. It was inspired by the Henry David Thoreau book, Walden, which he wrote while at Walden Pond. Tuomas considers it a continuation of I Want My Tears Back.
To put Marko's comments for While My Lips Are Still Red in context, this was in London , not long after the Paris nightclub bombings, I believe the song was added to the setlist for that reason. Floor was sitting there to make sure the spotlight stayed on Marko.
The item Troy uses with his guitar for While Your Lips are Still Red is called an EBow. It vibrates the string to allow

My Walden is one of my all time favorite Nightwish songs - I could listen to that second half go on forever. Such an incredible groove, not only from Marco's "Beast" and Troy's whistle and pipes, but Kia's impeccable drumming and especially Emppu's metal chugging - gives me goosebumps!!
The musical bit at the end of My Walden with Troy on pipes & Marko on "acustic" guitar is one of my favorite sounds ever!

'While your lips are still red' is one of the most beautiful songs. One of my favorites from this concert. Love Marco's singing.
The point about Good Evening Wembley is that Troy as an English boy, would have dreamed of playing football there. Wembley was home to the FA Cup Final.
So not about performing as a band there
Later, Marco will echo the words, but meaning performing as a band. He considered this his biggest show regardless of Wacken being 6 times as many people. It is an iconic venue for bands. Selling out Wembley is a big deal still,even though the Arena is now used for bands.
Not many can fill the Stadium. I saw the Eagles there and Genesis played four nights in succession at the Stadium to 350,000 people
"Kiss while..." is also on video. There one can see the story behind. Actually this is for a movie...no guitar, no female voices. Marco is so awesome singer that it is pure honor to back up him.
Wembley my second fav concert with Nightwish. Great kiss guys very cute love how Nightwish can change your emotions and moods with these differences in each song. Thank guys keep on Rockin' Wembley.

I lost my Father just 2 days ago(Friday 18th). Almost exactly 2 years before my mother passed away. Ik my dad died due to broken heart. He's health went so much down after mom's funeral.
And now I have the huge task of taking care of everything as a soul heir. I do have lot of uncles and Aunt's to lean on. I am at one of my Aunt's ace right now. They wanted me to come here, and just let it be for little while not to think so much, just be and let emotion go as they want naturally.

It's an e-bow, vibrating the strings by electricity. Very cool to play, but reallly hard to master (like Troy does). :)
(The light is just there to help you aim, especially when it's dark.)
You guys know that Floor with After forever on stage in 2006 performs she is my sin,and little does she knows that 6 years after she enjoys the band,you shuld check out this video

If you continue with this concert you will eventually hear Troy putting the guitar with E-bow to good use to simulate a cello in The Greatest Show On Earth.
My Walden and Alpenglow are wonderfully uplifting musical and lyrical masterpieces as is the entirety of the Nightwish catalogue albeit in many different ways with all the trademark Nightwish transitions and multi layering. While your Lips are Still Red is a beautiful reminder of the importance of living a life of seizing the moments and not leaving any room for regrets. All performed as perfectly as it is possible to do so.
The opening lyrics are sung by Troy in Welsh and translate more or less as:
"The sound of mist, smell of moss-grown woods,
Granite, lichen, the trees and the Moon,
Weaving my world into the tapestry of life."

Troy is using what is called an Ebow or Electric Bow. It uses magnets to vibrate the string rappidly making it sound like a bowed instrument.

While I'm a fan of older Nightwish, with Tarja.. these are some of my favorites of their stuff since Tarja.
Great reaction guys! This version of Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red is my favorite. I have always found the music video discordant as the violent video clips from the movie don't really match the lyrics IMO. For me Tuomas's poetic lyrics are a celebration of innocent young love and Marko's fragile and vulnerable vocals perfectly capture that vibe. Throw in Floor's gorgeous harmonies and this is such a beautiful and emotional song. Always takes me back to my 17 year old self on a Saturday night getting ready to go out with friends, full of hope that tonight is the night I will meet that special girl that I can love in the way only young people can and share my life with.
Hi guys 😃I've been waiting since February for you to continue..... Troy is using an Electronic bow (E-Bow) to simulate the sound of the violin on the original. Emppu is having a well deserved break.....maybe he is having a ppu? Lol x

Troy also plays guitar with e-bow on live versions of the songs "Sahara" and "Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean". He also uses it in "Shoemaker". But usually no one notices this, even cameramen at concerts, because they ignore Troy even when he plays a solo like in "Shoemaker", apparently thinking that this sound is made by Tuomas' synthesizer.
