"Le Freak" (1978) is my favorite song by Chic, the biggest hit probably "Good Times" (1979). But Rodgers went on to write & produce mostly for other artists like David Bowie (Let's Dance), Sister Sledge (We Are Family), Daft Punk (Get Lucky), INXS (Original Sin), Duran Duran (The Reflex, Notorious), Madonna (Like a Virgin), Diana Ross (Upside Down), Sheila and B. Devotion (Spacer), The B-52s, Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, The Vaughan Brothers, Bryan Ferry, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé (Renaissance). He has written, produced, and performed on records that have sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide. So he has a nice back catalogue of well known songs to present in his own, funky Soul, and he sure brings across massive vibes, together with his band.
