I drove 700 miles of that race and finished in la paz in a class 2-1600 buggy . Whatever it takes. Never say die.
Great Film
Having ridden the Baja peninsula by motorcycle, this race has always been on my bucket list. Seeing this team do it well after all of the race coordinators had shut down and left them to their own resources, seem very much the way I would probably finish the race. Great Job Team!
Thank you!
I'd love to see a documentary about the bug's build.
I'm from upstate NY as well. Dreams of Baja dance through my head
Great film all around
Thanks!
In baja the first one is the champion, BUT, the last one is a heroe!
Great watch!
I knew there must be a lot involved with the Baja 1000, but I had no idea. Great job, Team.
Super cool to see you guys still at it! I remember talking to you guys in line at 18’ 1000 tech and saying how you practiced in a dirt lot in NY and that it was y’all first desert race. 👍🏻

That was awesome, great work. I don’t know if I missed it, but what place did you finish.
How can I get in a Baja race I’ll build a mopar to run Baja like a Durango or a jeep setup to run off road
Mexican gasoline is like gatorade... three different colors ✨
In the Us all looks like piss
been looking for a rear light wing like that, where did you pick that up at?
That light wing was all hand made.
@@ryangreen2662 guess i will keep making my hand made one too lol. wanted to just buy one lol
Great video, what was the engine spec's??
Thanks! It’s a Major Performance 5/1600 engine with about 100hp, limited by class rules!
@@ryangreen2662 Thank You, 100 BHP from a 1600 is pretty good going
motor specs por favor!
Major Performance 5/1600 with about 100hp
What fuel do these cars use?! 👃
Just regular gas
@@ryangreen2662 but it was blue
Just the color of the gas can…
You stop then 26 miles later stop again for driver change..among other things I notice. I admire your try hard but you guys don't have a podium team. And to many driver changes and take to long in stops
How many times you won Baja expert?
@@chrisvanluven7240 in what class? I've got a few Dirt bike trophies.. 2 class 7 trophies. 4 class1 trophies. Currently still racing class1, in a jimco car. A handful of ckass8 trophies. Ckass8 back In day is what I really liked. That's just Baja. I've got other trophies and awards from racing desert in the states. I started desert racing at 16. My first desert race on a dirt bike. I've been doing it for 23yrs now. I'm currently finishing up a really nice preruner truck just to play with..glamis,, superstition etc. Break it in over summer. Rite at 50,000 bucks n she's done. Actually not bad price for what I've done to it.
Podium was never the goal
@@ryangreen2662 ya.. I never race to be competitive. You could have just ran the course n saved a lot of money
That’s no country for old men
Great docu - remove the music and it will be mint!
What’s wrong with music lol?
Wasting a lot of time during driver change..get out,,get in
First few minutes= improper wearing of mask
Love this ,but the masks are ridiculous ..
