      Right I'm a Falcons fan for years, I know Sean he was trying to push Winston by heaping praise on the other guy. Hill is impressive but he's taken a lot of abuse playing different positions.

      @@calvincalvin3132 Marquez Callaway played great football last year, was cut short by some injuries, being buried in the depth chart, and inconsistent QB play. Not to mention, he had a great game last week. Please consider watching football! 😃

      He was a solid debate for second string in San Fran but mullens barely beat him out. He is in my opinion a really good backup, or even a solid fit for starter when it comes to the jags and beating out Minshew and a rookie.

      He had some great throws. These preseason games are hard to gauge qb’s by though. 4th quarter has a lot of 3rd string players on both sides of the ball so did the qb look better than TL or was the defense just much more lax?

      preseason always shows the ability of the team.... injuries plague football, stars aren't always gonna be game fit.

      ??? There are some teams that haven't played a starter yet on the offensive line. Preseason is just that. Some coaches use it to get their starters ready. Some use it to figure out who will start or get significant playing time. Some use it to decide who to keep and who to cut. It's a long season. You'd like to get some of your starters enough full-contact snaps to be ready for the regular season, but not if the price is too high.

    Just a message to all the casual fans/ fans that don't really understand football. Preseason is important to these players especially ones that are not guaranteed roster spots. They play hard as if they were in the regular season. Showcasing what they can do . Don't over look what Winston or hill did tonight

    But let's talk about CJ Beathard hes impressed me since 2020 last season over 700 passing yards 6 tds o picks qb rating 105.81 In 6 games
    Last week 13/16 for over 100 yards and a td this game 9/14 for 121 and 2 tds all In the final 5 minutes he can actully be a capable starter

      He balled out for the niners whenever they put him in but most those games he didn’t start because they had mullens in and then beathard would come in and score a few tuddies in like 5 mins. He’s pretty solid

      That’s what I’m saying!!! He struggles at times but even on the 49ers he was obviously the best quarterback on the roster yet they still tried a lot of garbage before really giving him the reins for the season, he’s extremely impressive he has some of the best placement on his throws I hope they give him some snaps against the first defensive unit next weekend, they need to check his potential because in all honesty Lawrence did not look as confident as I’d expect and Minshew is so streaky

    Urban's lack of NFL experience is showing already. Hopefully he'll tighten things up as the season begins. James Winston is beyond impressive. Definitely should start I think. Taysom Hill looks like he's can actually be the best back up in the league though. He's impressive as well.

    Winston has a beautiful ball. Ik this is the first time we legit get to see this guy actually play with a diff team, but he looks so much more comfortable with the Saints, imo. The touch on those two deep balls were placed perfectly.

    Even when Jameis makes mistakes, I can't help admire his natural arm strength and accuracy. I have always liked that about him since I first saw him playing Florida state football. And the best thing is he is only going to get better.

      He will be ok. He will be another Ryan Tannehill at absolute best. The problem with Trevor is that his IQ isn’t very high, he doesn’t throw super accurately, and his strength (confident, reckless running) will get him killed at the NFL level.

      Let's be honest: Trevor don't look good doing just basic things like throwing guys open or staring down coverage. We not asking him to throw 300-400 yards in preseason. We're asking consistent NFL throws at all levels (short, intermediate, deep passes) haven't seen it yet

    1 of the most intriguing and beautiful things I’ve always loved about Winston is he doesn’t mind nor is he afraid of airing that ball out . It’s a beauty to see him throw and air that thing out , which also shows the love and trust he has in his receivers to go it . I’m super glad and excited he got that starting job I couldn’t stomach or imagine Winston being a back up anywhere this was well deserving and I’m proud for that man .       2 Things Lawrence has never been: 1) Quick Decision Maker, 2) Elite Level Accurate. He thrived off of a strong arm, athleticism and a 5 star receiving corps in college.

    Thank God I drafted Callaway in the 13th round in my fantasy league just a few days before this game lol. I'm not a Saints fan but I heard he was killing it in camp, and with MT being out he may pan out as solid FLEX option, maybe even WR2 but we'll wait and see on that

    Winston is my qb this year. Taysom is my swiss knife that i have loved for the passed few years! Dont fix what isnt broken! Winston will do well under Payton and had/has one of the greatest qb’s of all time to mentor him!

    People are sleeping on the saints. Callaway, Michael Thomas, Kamara are going to be insane together. Along with a top 5 o-line. Winston might have another 5000 yard season.

    I got in arguments with people about how well Jamis is playing and that Hilla can't touch him as a full time qb. Jamis defended himself for me today. It's never been a lack of work ethic or talent. It's always been the coaching he's received. Sean and Drew may have created a top 10 qb

      Some guys might still be getting warmed up and not taking thing super seriously cause it's preseason, not a good time to judge players for how they'll play in the regular season.

      @@JonCollinsMedia You can learn a lot from pre season. First of all Jamis has always passed the abilities test. Some of throws have just reinforced that. Now we're seeing him go through progressions, reading defenses and making the right decision. He knew he had Callaway 1vs1 up top before the play even started. The throw was amazing and the catch was just as good if not better. He's feeling the pocket and moving comfortably in it. He's delivering darts that are accurate and on time. Real games are very different but evaluating talent in pre season is crucial to developing a roster at all levels.

    I told people last year, if Jameis had played that 2nd half against the Bucs, Saints go to the NFC Championship. They died on the Brees hill and rightfully so, but Jameis has MVP caliber talent and he’ll be a MVP candidate with this coaching behind him! #WHODAT!

      He wasn’t the first overall pick for no reason. He’s also one of the few QBs that have thrown for 30+ TDs and 5k+ yards in a season. As long as he takes care of his turnover issue, he’s a perennial top 10 QB.

      @@er.l1216 Bruce Arians' offense had Tom Brady looking like a turnover machine in the first half of last season until they let Brady run his offense. Every QB under Arians has had career highs in interceptions (Except Brady, but he was on pace for it until the changes).
      Under Sean Payton, Winston will thrive.

      All I know is, you guys can keep living in the past as far as his INTs go. Ryan Tannehill is proof that with the right coaching and system behind them, they can thrive. Jameis is in the perfect situation and he’ll prove it this year! 🔥
